BROMOCORAS
He's In Prayer

"Assalamu'alaikum, Kang Aji."

Ajimukti suddenly stopped his steps and turned his body when someone suddenly greeted him from behind.

"Wa'alaikumsalam Warahmatullah..." The answer to Ajimukti's greeting slowed down when he realized who was now standing behind him.

"Gus Ali?" Sapa Ajimukti and immediately grabbed Gus' hand on that one.

"What's busy, Kang Aji?" Ask Ali then.

"Nothing, Gus. This is just glaring. Where did Gus Ali go or where?" Ask Ajimukti a moment later.

Ali smiled faintly, "I came from the room and saw Kang Aji passing by so deliberately wanted to see Kang Aji." Sahut Ali with a slight smile on his face.

Ajimukti frowned a little, "Meet me? What do you need, Gus?" Ajimukti asked a little astonished.

"We talked there first, Kang Aji." Ali pointed to one of the benches under a mango tree that was quite shady in the courtyard of the pesantren mosque.

Ajimukti just nodded then followed Ali who first walked. In Ajimukti's heart a little curious about what Ali will say at this time. Because for him, this was the first time Ali invited him to chat together and even deliberately met him, instead of telling santri to call him.

"Sit down, Kang Aji." Ali invited Ajimukti to sit down after he first sat on the bench.

Ajimukti was still shrouded in curiosity especially when Ali suddenly sighed heavily as if there was something serious he wanted to talk to her.

"There's something I've been wanting to ask since yesterday, Kang Aji. I don't know why I'm so curious." Ali said arriving.

Ajimukti momentarily frowned.

"What's that about, Gus?" Ajimukti asked still so curious.

Once again Ali was heard sighing heavily. "Who is Kang Aji really about?" Said Ali later.

When Ajimukti was stunned, he was astonished by the intention of the question Ali.

"I mean, Gus Ali? I'm sorry if I don't understand?" Ajimukti tried to look at Ali's question.

"Ajimukti Aufatur Muthoriq? Is that really Kang Aji's long name?" Ask Ali shortly afterwards.

Ajimukti nodded slowly, "Right, Gus?"

Ali looked down on his lips. "Muthoriq." After saying that name Ali sighed again, "I'm so memorized by that name." Said later.

Ajimukti still feels there is something that Ali actually wants to say with regards to his name.

"Sorry! Is Kang Aji related to the man in this photo?" Suddenly Ali showed an old photo that did not know since when Ali held the photo.

Ajimukti at a glance observed him, his forehead wrinkled.

"This is a photo of me with my friend when he was living in Rembang fifteen years ago. Does Kang Aji know the photo next to mine?" Ask Ali then.

Ajimukti. He could now only gulp and for a moment Ajimukti sighed before finally nodding lightly.

Ali smiled, then patted Ajimukti on the shoulder before finally standing up.

"I've already thought it was Kang Aji." Said later.

Ajimukti is still in his position, now he looks up a little. "I hope for a while Gus Ali keeps this a secret." Say Ajimukti to Ali who now stands behind him.

Ali turned and slightly threw her smile. "Just calm down Kang Aji. I can trust."

Ajimukti smiles pias.

"And I'm waiting for Kang Aji's result. Oh sorry should I call..."

"Ajimukti or Aji alone, Gus." As quickly as lightning Ajimukti cut off Ali's speech. Ali simply smiled and then passed from before Ajimukti without saying a word.

Ajimukti was still sitting on a bench under a mango tree in the courtyard of the pesantren mosque looking at Ali who had gone far away to leave him. Suddenly the arch on his lips clearly adorned his shady face. For a moment Ajimukti sighed deeply.

Meanwhile in one of the rooms ndalem Kyai Aminudin.

"Ehem!" The middle-aged woman's deheman's voice immediately startled Habiba who was sleeping on his stomach while looking at something on his left wrist.

"A, Umi. Since when is Umi there?" Ask Habiba to Uminya who is now slowly approaching her daughter and sitting on her child's bed.

"It looks like you're daydreaming, huh? Until Umi comes you don't realize it." Said the Umi while smiling at her daughter.

"What are you, Nduk?" Asked the Umi looked inside at the face of the girl whose face began to turn red.

"Ah, not Umi. Habiba was just a little sleepy." Habiba tries to hide his current feelings.

He smiled and grabbed his daughter's chin. "Umi know, Nduk. There must be something you're hiding. Aye right? The same story Umi.".

Habiba looked at Uminya's eyes. Instantly he hugged the middle-aged woman's body.

"How do you want to share your happiness a little with Umi?" Tanya Umi still hugged her daughter.

Habiba took off his embrace. Smile at his mother. His red face was unable to hide.

"It looks like that bracelet that makes you daydream all day?" Umi's gaze was fixed on the kaoka bracelet on Habiba's left wrist. As fast as lightning, Habiba hid his left hand on the edge of his shirt.

"Ah, not Umi. What the hell is this Umi?" Habiba again looked embarrassed.

"Who managed to make this princess Umi daydream like this?" Ask Umi as she grabs Habiba's hand and touches the back of the girl's hand.

Habiba bowed and for a moment he sighed.

"He's a man that only Habiba can bring to prayer in the Habiba prayer, Mi." The words of Habiba.

Once again he grabbed Habiba's chin and raised his head.

"Listen to this Umi of yours, Nduk. Never stop hoping, for God knows when the time is right to grant your request." Said the Umi hear the eyes full of sincerity.

"But Abah, Mi?" Suddenly Habiba's voice changed.

Um he stroked Habiba's cheek. "If you feel you have God, then why do you doubt, Nduk."

"But Habiba is scared, Mi. Afraid that Abah would stick to that position." Now Habiba's face is really mired in sadness. The face that had been shining now began to dim.

"God always has His own way, Nduk." He tried to calm his heart. Habiba could only smile at least Uminya never forced what he wanted.

"Then how?" Uminya asked again, Habiba looked at the shady face of his uminya.

"Where's what, Mi?" He did not understand the meaning of the general question.

Si Umi smiled then slightly pinched the tip of the nose of the girl.

"It is true that even though we know love. Her daughter Umi's master is still an innocent girl huh." The general temptation, Habiba only then blushed again.

"Don't you tell Umi who the lucky guy is?" Ask her again.

"Ah, umi." Habiba starts to shoot.

"It looks so special to this young man?" His common speech again still hopes Habiba will be frank with him.

"He's a new guy in Habiba's life, Mi. But he's not a stranger." Habiba then said.

"New people but not strangers? Meaning, Nduk?" Tanya uminya can not catch the words of Habiba.

"Yes Umi. He's the new santri here, but he's no stranger. Habiba had a chance to meet him a few times, Mi." Habiba is now blushing again.

Uminya nodded like umin understand who the girl meant.

"Pinter son of Umi." Uminya said later, Habiba's face turned red again.

"Mi, help her pray." Habiba said with his twinkling eyes.

Umm just smile and then get up from her seat and kiss her forehead. Habiba again hugged the middle-aged woman's body.

"Thank you, Umi." His whispers softly in his uminya embrace.

"Don't break up your prayers, Nduk!."

Habiba tightened his embrace before finally letting go of the hug.

Soon passed from his room, while Habiba smiled again as he looked at the kaoka bracelet on his left wrist.

"Yes Umi is right. And I will never stop hoping until that time comes. Until the time when God granted my request."
