"It's so bright today. It seems to be very supportive of my meeting with my lover." muttered Davina.

Davina looked at the mirror then polished her face with thin makeup. Throughout the day he hummed a small sign of how happy he was because soon he would meet his lover who had been separated for several months.

Davina Almira is a 20-year-old student at one of the best universities in the city of A.

Today Davina has an appointment to meet her lover who is also a student in the city of K. The two have been in a relationship since they were in High School. The distance between the cities of A and K is quite far making them only able to meet if the college holiday.

"How does Nathan look now?" muttered Davina curious.

Despite frequent video calls, Davina is still curious about the changes that have happened to her lover.

Time has shown at 10 a.m. Actually Davina's meeting with Nathan at 7 p.m. Davina deliberately wants to buy some items first as a gift to be given to the lover.

Davina rushed to the shopping center before the day got even hotter. Davina was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans with a blend of white sneakers and a black sling bag. With an online taxi already booked, Davina took 20 minutes to reach the city's shopping center.

Davina stopped chewing her food. The man's voice sounded very familiar in Davina's ear. Many bad things may have crossed Davina's mind, but as hard as she could she threw the thought away.

"Nathan is a good man, he can't possibly be a traitor." Davina's inner self assures.

"Of course I'll be patient. I've already conceived your child, I'm sure you won't run away from your responsibilities right?" said the woman again makes Davina more goosebumps.

"You take it easy, I'm definitely in charge. I just need time for my innocent lover to decide on me but I don't want me to be judged guilty. Then I have to wait for him to make a mistake so I have a good reason to let him go" the man said.

Davina's heart ached at the man's words, but she tried hard to resist that the man must not be Nathan, her lover.

"Davina is a very innocent girl. He thinks you're a nice guy and is really in love with you" said the woman, who was met with laughter by Nathan.

Davina's heart aches when she hears her name. What was he afraid that from then on would it really happen? Davina tries to strengthen her heart, she takes her cell phone and emboldens herself to dial Nathan's number.

The sound of a cell phone ringing was heard from Davina's back desk. Davina now feels like she was struck by lightning in a hole. How could the 5 years he had spent together with the lover end up in betrayal?

Nathan's taunts made Davina immediately shed her tears at the words of the man who had been with him for 5 years.

"Haha he's a fool" Nathan said, making Davina unable to hear him again.

"Thank God for saving me from this demon man." - Davina.

It is undeniable that Davina feels pain, disappointment and hurt. But Davina is a wise woman, she can always take wisdom from every problem she faces. Somehow Davina was feeling right now, but she actually felt relief after hearing this painful truth.

After she finished eating, Davina rushed to the cashier to pay for her order.

"All of you with that table." Davina pointed to the table where the lover was with his affair.

Davina caught a glimpse of the two people making out to each other making her even more disgusted.

"It seems I no longer need to pretend to be a meek girl" Davina smiled.

"Time to be yourself, Davina. Welcome to a new life" said Davina eagerly then headed to some clothing store to buy a few pairs of clothes that fit her true self.

All this time since being in a relationship with Nathan, he can't be himself. Davina always demanded that women should look feminine, and meek. That makes Davina have to have a dual personality.

After seeing the reality with her own eyes, Davina was finally able to let go of the burden she had been carrying all this time. Releasing the chain that had been entangling and catching him, Davina could breathe freely and live life as she wanted. No need to be someone else's person anymore.

Davina quickly chooses some casual clothes that suit her taste and identity. Davina is the son of an influential person, her wealth and power cannot be underestimated. It's just that Davina is banned by the extended family from revealing her identity to protect her from unwanted things. So many people don't know who he really is including Nathan the ex-lover.

Davina thinks Nathan is her ex-boyfriend. After learning the truth, Davina immediately blocked and deleted Nathan's contact. Davina doesn't want to be bothered anymore with parasitic men like Nathan who have impregnated people's children while still in a relationship with him.

At the restaurant, Nathan and Amel get confused when the cashier says the food has been paid for by a woman.

"Who is that woman?" ask Amel who is none other than the woman who is currently pregnant with Nathan's child.

"Eitherway. I didn't realize it from here." replied Nathan.

"Don't she be your other mistress?" amel asked suspiciously.

"Don't talk recklessly. I'm not in a relationship with anyone other than you and Davina." Nathan replied honestly.

Nathan and Amel looked at each other.

"Davina?" ask them in unison.

"There's no way he's here. Even if there is I can certainly recognize him immediately." said Nathan thought that his lover is a girl who is still innocent and stupid.

"You're right. Even if he's here, he can't pretend not to see you. With his stupidity it was certain that he would directly hit me because of his love for you." added Amel made them nod their heads at each other.

"That's it, whoever that woman is at least she's helping us cut back on spending today. You can shop as you please." Nathan said making Amel's eyes sparkle.

"Ah, you are indeed the most understanding man. I love you." said Amel writhing spoiled in Nathan's arms.

"I love you too." Nathan retorted then gently stroked Amel's long hair.

The two lovebirds headed to another outlet to spend their money. Luckily they did not meet Davina, because Davina had left the shopping center after being satisfied to buy the clothes she wanted.

Davina again ordered a taxi online, this time she did not intend to go straight home. His groceries had been sent to the boarding house through the help of his men. During college, Davina was deliberately living in a simple boarding house. That way his identity will not be easily revealed. While his men, Davina has a different female bodyguard 2 years older than him. The bodyguard is also disguised as Davina's college friend, so there will be no knowing the truth. They also lived in the same boarding house, so no one suspected him when his college friend brought him his things.

This time the taxi Davina ordered stopped at a place. A lake filled with flower gardens around it. Davina rushed down from the car and towards the bench that was on the edge of the lake. But because of the large trees that grow around the lake it makes the wind feel cool and sunlight does not directly penetrate the white skin Davina.

"That's fresh. It turned out that it was not too painful to lose Nathan either." Davina muttered then closed her eyes.

The gust of wind dashed his face making his hair a little messy.

"Ah if I had known the real Nathan long ago I would not have wasted my five years loving a snake man like him." - grumbled Davina.

He may be fooled by Nathan's false love. The man he considered good and would be his life companion, was now over. Luckily, Davina never revealed her true identity to her ex-boyfriend. Somehow Davina couldn't put her full trust in Nathan, and now it's revealed that's the reason.

"The air here really makes my mood return." - Davina.

Davina realizes that the feelings she has for Nathan are not her true love. Davina finally understood that the taste she had for Nathan was nothing more than a friend. Yes, just a friend, Davina has never been friendly with Nathan at all. Davina is disappointed with the betrayal. If only Nathan had told the truth, Davina would have ended the relationship in a good way and let Nathan choose the woman he loves.

"The past has passed. It's time to rearrange the future" Davina said, looking up at the leaves that swayed in the wind.
