Episode 2 Stalker

No matter how long Davina was in the lake, the sun had already begun to hide its rays. The color of the orange glint in the sky that afternoon amazed Davina's eyes. It had been quite a while for him not to enjoy this kind of simple calm.

"Time continues to pass, footsteps must continue to move forward" said Davina Lirih while adjusting her breath again.

Without Davina realizing across the lake there was a figure who was watching him from earlier. A man who only wears a thin smile when he sees Davina's movements.

"Johan, it seems I already know who my wife will be" said the man with a strange smile embedded in his lips.

"I mean, Mister?" johan asked who was a member of the black-eyed man who was observing Davina from a distance.

"You'll know soon enough. Let's go, I don't want to lose my future wife." she replied making Johan even more confused and curious.

Marvin Harris, a young master of the Harris family who is the number one richest family in country A. His age who has stepped on 30 years got an urge from family members to immediately release his stint. Even elder Harris threatened him to cross off his name as heir if this year still did not bring home a woman with him. Not that Marvin does not sell well, his good looks can make women not blink at all. It's just that Marvin doesn't want to be stuck with the charm of cheap women who just want to enjoy his property. His busyness with the business world makes him not have time to think about establishing a relationship with any woman. Many women intend to throw his body for free to Marvin, but it even more disgusted him.

Marvin and Johan are already in the car, but Johan is confused because he is still waiting for an order from Marvin to drive his car.

Marvin's eyes were still watching the sweet girl standing on the sidewalk who was none other than Davina. After Davina enters a car, Marvin orders Johan to drive.

"Follow the car but keep the distance not to be seen." said Marvin who was immediately embraced by Johan.

Actually Johan was very curious about his young master and wanted to ask a few questions, but he could only hold it and choose to follow the orders of his superiors only.

Marvin's fancy black car follows Davina's car. It took 20 minutes then the car stopped at a village behind a famous campus in town A.

"It looks like the girl is a student here" said Marvin who sounded faintly in Johan's ear.

"Did you say something?" ask Johan.

"Ehm. No, I didn't say anything." replied Marvin clumsily.

Johan only looked up from the windshield to see his master's expression, but only a flat, cold face he saw. Marvin quickly and very cleverly changed his facial expression so as not to be read by others.

From across the street Marvin could see the girl he was following down from the car then walking towards a narrow alley.

"You wait here. There's something I have to do." said Marvin.

"Sir what are you doing? Let me accompany you." said Johan who was confused by his master's behavior which was very strange since the lake.

"No. You're just here guarding the car, if until this car is gone then you have to replace it with your life." snapped Marvin makes Johan's guts instantly shrivel.

"Well, sir." Johan said.

Marvin quickly got out of the car and then accelerated his pace so as not to lose track of the girl who caught his attention in the lake this afternoon.

Marvin felt that there was something when he saw the girl's shady face, making him feel calm.

Marvin followed the girl's steps into a narrow, low-light alley.

"Where is the girl going? Dare to go down a road like this." Marvin murmured.

Davina felt that someone was stalking her, and she quickened her pace. But the steps of the people behind him also accelerated. Feeling worried about Davina, she deliberately walked around the residential area to make sure that she was being followed by someone. Sure enough Davina's premonition, there's someone following her. Davina decided to run fast to outwit the stalker.

"Damn it looks like I got caught." Marvin's inner self who also came running because he didn't want to lose track of the girl.

Marvin set his breath, he glanced left and right to look for the whereabouts of the girl he was following.

"So fast the girl's running." said Marvin who was still panting.

When it was about to turn its body suddenly a punching punch right in its stomach made it grimace in pain. The blow was painful for Marvin.

"Who are you?" shout Davina.

"Why are you following me?" asked Davina who was preparing to throw a punch to Marvin but quickly clasped her fist by Marvin.

"Wow, Miss, you're so fierce. Your punch was pretty good too." replied Marvin who made Davina even more upset.

"Who are you? Who told you to follow me?" ask Davina again impatiently.

However, Davina's background requires the girl to always be vigilant. Davina has studied martial arts to protect herself if danger occurs.

"Miss calm down first. I have no evil intentions towards you." replied Marvin who was amazed by the alert attitude of the young girl before him.

"Then? Why are you stalking?" ask Davina again who wants to know the man's motive.

Davina realized that the man before her did not have the face of perverted thugs but she did not want to be fooled by the handsome face.

"Can you put your hands down first? Your punch is pretty painful, miss." said Marvin softly.

"No! Answer my question!" refuse Davina does not want to reduce her vigilance a fewkitpun.

Marvin smiled faintly.

"Alright, I'll answer it." said Marvin glanced at Davina who gave a sharp look to him.

"I have no bad intentions. I just want to get to know you." said Marvin honestly who even made Davina laugh.

"You think I'm stupid? Where does a man take a girl's acquaintance in such a way? Tell me the truth before I break your leg!" said Davina who felt the man's answer was very silly and unreasonable.

"There certainly is, Miss. As I do now." answered Marvin upset Davina then kicked Marvin's stomach as hard as I could until he fell.

"You better get out of here! Don't let me see you again!" davina just left Marvin.

Realizing Davina's departure, Marvin was about to get up and chase after the girl but Davina's kick was so hard that it made her sit back and grimace in pain.

"Wait, Miss! What's yourname?" shouted Marvin who was not hounded by Davina at all.

"We'll definitely meet again, beautiful lady. I'm sure I'll get to know you and make you my woman." Marvin's inner self-assured.

"Basin' weird guy!" it was Lirih Davina who left that man just like that.

Davina's in her room. Davina immediately headed to the bathroom to clean herself up. It took 15 minutes, Davina was out with a fresh face.

Davina was laying on top of her single-size cape.

"Today is so fucking shit. After knowing the figure of the snake man even returned to meet a strange man." muttered Davina.

Suddenly Davina's phone shook, an unknown number came in. Davina could guess who called her was definitely the snake guy, Nathan.

There were 5 incoming calls but Davina still didn't care. Again the phone went off and still with the same call number.

"Looks like you didn't give up on the ex?" muttered Davina with her sly smile.

"Alright, I want to hear what game you've prepared" Davina said, then received the call.

"Hello, Honey. You finally picked up my phone." Nathan asked as if he had sinlessly said it.

"Darling? I want to throw up You call me that. You don't deserve to call me that." Davina said in her heart, this time she deliberately held back her anger so that Nathan didn't realize that she already knew the truth.

"Oh I guess who didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick it up" Davina replied flatly.

"Why are you blocking me, honey?" nathan asked which made Davina even more disgusted to hear it.

"No. I'm not blocking you." replied Davina Ketus.

"Are you mad at me for not directly replying to your message? Sorry, I fell asleep. You know the distance from K here isn't close, right?" nathan's words made Davina even more furious because she already knew the truth.

"I'm not mad at you." replied Davina who was still in a flat tone.

"Thank you, sweetheart. Oh yeah, you didn't forget our date tonight, did you?" nathan's question made Davina unable to hold back her patience anymore.

"Until when are you going to keep pretending and lying to me?" davina's question surprised Nathan.

"What do you mean, honey?" nathan pretended to be innocent.

"Stop your cipher, Elnathan. I already know everything." Davina replied, leaving Nathan stuck.

"I'm sorry, Vina" Nathan said, sounding guilty.

"No. It's not your fault. I'm the one who's been wrong for spending my 5 years with a guy like you. I was a fool unaware from the beginning who you really were" Davina said, making Nathan's recess throb a little.

"From now on, Davina Almira has cut off my relationship with you. Everything that has happened in these five years is in the past. I hope that in the next life I will never deal with you again. At first we met as strangers then after this we return to being strangers." said Davina closed the call from the ex-lover.

There is no denying the pain that lingers in Nathan's heart. 5 Years is not a short time. Nathan recalls his time with Davina in High School. It's hard to be happy they've been through together. Even when he was devastated when Nathan lost the most important person in his life, Davina was the one who faithfully accompanied and gave encouragement for Nathan to continue living.

Davina is a caring and affectionate woman. But because of Nathan's lust that made him betray the sincere love of a girl as good as Davina.

"I'm sorry, Vin. I realized I wasn't a good man. I just wish you could forgive me. I promise I won't mess with your life again" Nathan said, remembering that he will now be a father because of his carelessness.

"I'll pray for you to find the right kind man to accompany you, Davina." Nathan's inner heart full of hope.

In Nathan's little heart there is little regret for having inflicted wounds on a girl as good as Davina. If only he had told her the truth and ended his relationship with Davina without betraying it would definitely not have been like this.
