Davina exhaled violently, as she finished talking to Nathan flashed the memories they had shared. It is undeniable, 5 years is not a short time. Many things have happened, all the events that went through with Nathan imprint on the other side of Davina's heart.

"Mother, Vina kangen" said Davina Lirih.

"What's going on, honey? Are you having trouble?" ask Sera, Davina's birth mother.

"No, Mother. I just miss Mom and Dad." replied Davina who did not feel her tears.

"You can't lie to me, son. Are you okay dear?" ask Sera makes Davina no longer able to hold back her tears.

There was a sobbing sound, Sera quickly called her husband.

"Well, it looks like something happened to Vina" Sera told her husband, Adam Carlos.

Carlos family is a prominent family in the country Z. His position is not only important in the business world but also in the black world. Carlos' power is beyond doubt. Adam Carlos is one of the most feared mafia leaders in the country and even abroad.

Adam closes his laptop then asks Sera to activate the loudspeaker in order to talk to her beloved daughter.

"Son, what's going on? Talk to Dad." The baritone's voice was able to make Davina stop her crying.

The sound of Davina's breath, Sera and Adam just looked at each other and then gave a little time so that his daughter was willing to tell what was being experienced at this time.

After she calmed down, Davina gulped down a glass of water and then returned to her voice.

"Dad, Mother.. Davina misses you." said Davina Lirih, her voice still sounded hoarse as a result of finished crying.

"We miss you too, my dear. Do you want Mom and Dad to come to your place?" ask Adam to offer.

Adam always asked for his daughter's opinion first if he wanted to do something related to Davina's life. Adam did not want to be rash and made his only daughter feel uncomfortable with his actions.

"Then don't you want to tell Mom and Dad something?" ask Adam in a soft tone.

"Vina and Nathan have broken up, Dad" Davina replied honestly.

Adam and Sera looked at each other in disbelief at the words of his daughter.

"Did that little mouse hurt you?" asked Adam curiously.

Davina's reply made Adam grit his teeth.

"Based on a rat jerk doesn't know how to profit!" adam was full of anger.

"Dad, hold your anger. Listen to Davina first." Sera's soft voice made Adam have to control his emotions.

"Dad, listen to Vina." came back the voice of her beloved daughter.

"I'm fine, Dad. Even after I found out the truth, I did not feel any heartache. I just feel disappointed why to end a relationship he had to choose the path of betrayal" said Davina who sounded very relaxed.

Adam and Sera could clearly capture that his daughter was indeed fine.

"Mom and Dad don't have to worry. I can protect myself." added Davina again so that her parents believe her. Otherwise, her parents will make Davina a hassle because it adds people to escort and watch her again.

"Thank God. We believe in you, son." said Sera relieved.

"Did my daughter want you to do something to avenge the little rat? I can take it off the face of the earth." Adam asked, giving Davina the creeps.

"No need, Dad. It's better to save your energy than to take care of that little shit." Davina replied instantly making Adam conclude the smile on his face.

"It looks like Dad's blood is starting to dominate you" Adam said, provoking Davina's little laugh.

Adam and Sera were relieved to hear that her daughter was cheerful again. For Adam the happiness of his daughter was indeed a very valuable thing. For this reason, Adam deliberately hid his daughter's identity to protect his only daughter from the targets of his enemies.

Adam already understood how cruel the black and cunning world of the business world. Adam wants to hide Davina from the marriage alliance that will only sacrifice her daughter's happiness. As a father, Adam would not have been willing if his daughter had to be stuck with a fake marriage that only wanted to take advantage of the material and big name of her family. "Do you want to take a vacation for a while, honey?" tanya Sera offered.

"Dad can ask permission from the rector of your college" said Adam.

"No need, Dad. It will provoke suspicion of my identity, Father." said Davina quickly reminded her parents not to do careless things that would provide a gap for the enemy.

"It's okay, Dad. I understand your concerns about Mom and Dad. But remember, Father and Mother must first discuss with me before taking any action that will affect my life. Mom and Dad can promise me, right?" Davina.

"Yes Nak. We promise." said Adam and Sera compact.

"All right then. Vina loves Daddy and Mom." said Davina softly.

"We love you too, dear. Take care of yourself, son. Mom and Dad always pray for you" Sera said expectantly.

"Good, Mother. You guys take good care of yourself too. Dad don't often get angry later wrinkles quickly. Mom tipped Dad ya." reply Davina deliberately teased her parents so as not to be too washed away in the atmosphere of the day longer.

"Basar you are. Have a good rest, son. Don't be late for dinner. If you hear you're sick, I'll take you home forcibly." Adam's threat made Davina chuckle.

"Mother listen? Dad is cruel." said Davina complained to her mother, in order to get protection.

"You have no end to fighting. Don't bring me into your troubles." said Sera, not wanting to interfere with her son and husband's debate.

There was laughter from Davina.

"Alright, Mom. Vina hang up. I love you guys." Davina said farewell.

"Dad, I love you too" said Adam and Sera.

Voice calls were cut off.

Davina's face was back to be radiant after talking long enough with her parents. It turned out that it was true, only his parents were truly sincere in loving him unconditionally. Davina is happy to have a safe and comfortable place to go home.

"Fried rice, fried noodles, capcay.." shouted the brothers who led his cart around the village.

"It just so happened." muttered Davina immediately grabbed her purse and then ran out of her room.

"Bang, special two spicy nasgor yes!" shouted Davina who immediately stopped the move of the traveling nasgor seller.

"Good, Miss. Wait a minute." said the brothers who may be in their 30s.

Davina just nodded her head in agreement and then knocked on the door of the room next to her room.

"Mely, out! Come have dinner with me." take Davina to the bodyguard posing as her college friend.

"God! What's wrong with you, Mel?" ask Davina wonder.

The door opened, Davina was surprised by Mely's appearance which looked very messy. His hair looks like a typical frown like a person waking up.

"I'm sorry, I just woke up Miss." replied Mely clumsy.

"Luckily, I thought you were depressed." circus Davina.

"Ah isn't Miss supposed to be depressed about breaking up with Mr Nathan?" mely asked whose words escaped just like that made Devina give a sharp look at the bodyguard who had accompanied her for 7 years.

"The taste of your mouth is very bold." Davina quipped making Mely aware of his words.

Mely immediately silenced her mouth and condemned her foolishness for her carelessness towards her employer's personal problems.

"I'm sorry, Miss. I didn't mean to.."

"Quick tidy up before my hand pulls out all your teeth!" davina said with instantaneous emphasis to make Mely goosebumps in fear.

"Ne-good Miss." said Mely stammered then ran towards the bathroom

Davina shut the door of Mely's room so hard that it made Mely go up in shock.

Davina wasn't angry, she just deliberately did that to scare Mely. Seeing the look of fear and panic on Mely's face made Davina chuckle in satisfaction.

Davina sat in the front seat of the boarding house to wait for her order fried rice. The fragrant smell of spices and chili peppers pierced Davina's nose making her stomach even more impatient waiting for her dinner.

"Wrapped or eaten directly, Non?" ask the seller's brother nasgor.

"Eat here, Bang. Two sweet iced teas." replied Davina then showed her two fingers as a gesture to the traveling merchant.

"Well, Non." said Nasgor's brother enthusiastically.

A few minutes later the fried rice and sweet iced tea ordered by Davina was ready along with Mely who came out of her room.

"Sit down and eat." said Davina who was immediately obeyed by Mely.

Mely was still feeling guilty, she just followed Davina's orders without making a sound. Mely was afraid that she would mispronounce again and make her employer even more angry.

"Are you a canker sores? Why is it suddenly so quiet is usually very noisy." asked Davina quipped bodyguard who every day did not stop talking. His subordinates were indeed very chatty and often could not filter his speech which sometimes made Davina upset half to death.

"No, Miss. Forgive me for what I said, Miss." said Mely regretfully.

"Recycle your food. No need to bring it up again." said Davina who did not glance at Mely at all.

"Well, miss" said Mely, who was increasingly overwhelmed by the fear of her young lady's anger.

"Ah, Miss is really mad at me. Will I lose my job tonight?" murmured Mely who was already unable to enjoy the fried rice that she put in her mouth.

Her panic and fear made it hard for Mely to swallow her dinner.

"If you don't finish your meal tonight I'll punish you!" the words Davina made Mely immediately put the fried rice into her mouth and swallowed it quickly.

Fortunately, it did not choke. Davina who found out Mely's fear just smiled obliquely.

"That's the result if you're too brave with me." Davina's inner voice was accompanied by a strange smile on her lips.
