"Master, the person who followed young master Harris was involved in an accident and died on the spot" one of the subordinates reported.

"Damn! What about Marvin?" ask the man.

"He managed to dodge it seems like he only suffered minor injuries" the subordinate replied.

"Ck! Apparently the boy is still safe as well. We don't make a move for a while. I don't want us to be exposed" said the man in his baritone voice.

"Okay sir." said the subordinate and left his superior's room.

"Haha.. I will look for another chance to finish you off young man." muttered the man while grinning and laughing wickedly.

"After you're done with me, I'll go back to K city and fight my arch-enemy." the man's inner self.

"Jo, is he unconscious?" ask Davina.

"Not yet, Miss." replied Johan courteously.

"Can we talk for a second?" ask Davina seriously.

"Yes Miss." said Johan then followed Davina out of the room.

"Have you investigated the accident that happened to Marvin a few days ago?" ask Davina.

"Already Miss. But I didn't manage to track him down." Johan replied honestly.

"Ck! Is this how the Harris family trust works?" cibir Davina's.

"I'm sorry Miss" Johan said, aware of his incompetence.

"Did Marvin often get threats like this?" ask Davina curiously.

"Yes Miss. But these last two attacks seem to be targeting Mr. Marvin's life." replied Johan.

"Then why don't you take strict care of your master?" ask Davina.

"Master refused, Miss. The master does not want the enemy to know his vigilance. You deliberately want to give a gap to the enemy and hope to catch him immediately" replied Johan to reveal the reason for Marvin.

Davina returned to Marvin's room and before long Mely had come to bring medicine for Davina.

"Let me help Miss" said Mely.

Davina nodded her head in response.

Mely cleaned Davina's wounds and treated her after carefully covering them.

"I'm just standing guard outside. Miss should also rest while waiting for Mr. Marvin to wake up." said Mely.

"Yes, thank you" Davina said with a smile from Mely.

Davina looked at Marvin who was still closing her eyes.

"After going through a terrible event, you can still sleep peacefully." murmured Davina softly.

"I became sleepy" said Davina, yawning and then shortly began to close her eyes.

"Vina.." call Marvin Iirih.

Marvin starts to open his eyes and soon searches for his wife's whereabouts. Marvin smiled as he found Davina falling asleep in the chair next to his bed.

"You're worried about me too." - Marvin.

"May you have begun to open your heart to me." hope Marvin then gently caresses Davina's head.

"I need to find out who's behind this attack. I won't let you in any more danger." said Marvin unequivocally.

"Dad will our daughter be okay?" sera asked worriedly when she heard the news about her daughter.

"You just calm down. Harris' young man we can count on to look after Davina." replied Adam sure.

"How about we go see them at the hospital?" ask Sera.

"can't. If we go there it will make Marvin's enemy suspicious and even put Davina in danger" said Adam refused his wife's invitation.

"Father's right. But Vina's okay, isn't she?" tanya Sera confirmed the condition of her daughter.

"Our daughter's fine, honey. Only Marvin was hurt for protecting him." Adam replied making Sera breathe a sigh of relief.

"I hope Marvin is really a reliable man" Sera said expectantly.

"Let's get ready. 2 hours away from our flight, don't be too late. The sooner the better." said Adam.

"Well." said Sera then rushed to tidy up his goods and arrange them in a suitcase.

Adam and Sera immediately headed for the airport and before long the plane they were boarding took off.

After arriving in the city of K, Adam immediately calls Darwin to investigate Marvin's enemy at Davina's request.

"You're investigating anyone Marvin Harris' enemy. I don't want them to make my daughter a target either. Tighten the guard for Davina and don't let her identity leak." Adam's orders were firm.

"Well sir." said Darwin obediently.

It was late in the afternoon, Davina slowly opened her eyes.

"Away awake?" ask Marvin.

"Don't joke. Your current health is more important" said Davina, who left Marvin and called the doctor.

"Just be embarrassed. Take it easy I won't force you, my wife. You can take me slowly." Marvin murmured inwardly.

Andre has come to check on Marvin's condition.

"There are no serious injuries. It's just that it takes rest and make sure the wound on his head is not exposed to water for several days. Don't get bumped again" Andre said, explaining what Davina had heard carefully.

"Who is this girl? Why haven't I seen it before." Andre whispered to Marvin.

"It's none of your business" said Marvin Ketus.

"Ck! So annoying. If you don't want to tell me, I'll figure it out myself." Andre threatened to make Marvin roll his lazy eyeballs.

"Vina, can you leave us alone for a minute?" gentle Marvin's pinta.

Davina looked at the two men in turn then nodded her head and walked out of Marvin's ward.

"Why is he looking at me like that?" andre asked confused.

"What do you want to know? Just tell me not to waste my time" said Marvin.

"It's bad. Only 2 months I left you, you've changed this way. Do you not love me anymore?" said Andre.

"Stop talking! You don't make my wife have any no-no thoughts about our relationship. Otherwise I will make you lose your profession." Marvin declared firmly.

"Curtain! It's so cruel." Andre grumbled.

"Eh wait a minute! You call that girl your wife? It can't be!" said Andre realized with Marvin's words and made him not believe.

"Yes. Why why?" ask Marvin indifferently.

"You sure? How could that young girl want to marry you" Andre said hesitantly.

"You dare to humiliate me?" marvin gave a sharp look to Andre.

"No, no. I just don't believe it yet. When did you get married? Why didn't you tell me?" andre asked, not accepting.

"You're so chatty. We just got married this morning. We haven't been able to expose this marriage. I hope you can help me keep this a secret" Marvin said seriously.

"Yes yes, all right. You can trust me. But I'm still curious, since when can you be interested in women? That girl is no ordinary girl, right?" asked Andre who was very curious.

Marvin nodded his head with a smile that Andre had never seen before.

"I'm so curious what greatness the girl has that can make a rusty man like you fall in love" Andre said.

"You'll find out if you know him" said Marvin, who kept smiling.

"Damn! Looks like you really are crazy about the girl" Andre said in amazement.

In Andre's heart, he was grateful that his little friend was finally willing to open his heart to a woman.

"Hopefully the girl can really make you happy and bring a good change for you." - Andre.
