"You sure you don't want to spend the night here? I'll book a room for you." asked Sera to make sure.

"No need, Mom. We didn't sleep at home yesterday, poor Grandma." replied Davina.

"All right, you guys be careful. It's dark, don't speed the car" Sera warned.

"Well, ma'am." said Davina and Marvin together.

"Protect my daughter." whispered Adam who was taken by Marvin's head after that both of them said goodbye.

"Why doesn't my gut feel good, Dad?" said Sera honestly.

"Peace yourself, pray for their salvation." said Adam who actually also felt the same premonition with his wife.

Marvin and Davina had already driven, not far away when they got out of the hotel, there was a car following them.

"Are we being followed?" ask Davina.

"You're so sensitive. Yeah, looks like this time they won't let go of us easily" Marvin replied seriously.

"Another Anton?" guess Davina.

"It's not certain yet." replied Marvin then dialed Johan's number.

"Jo, we're being followed. Send some people to prepare if something happens." Marvin said as well as sending the location.

"Good, Sir. We will soon follow to protect Mister and Miss." said Johan obediently immediately move his men.

"Are you ready?" marvin asked his wife.

"certain. You focus on your wheel. Find a path that is not too crowded so as not to involve many people" replied Davina.

Marvin smiled then nodded his head following his wife's instructions.

For 10 minutes the car chase continues.

"Damn! What exactly do they want?" ask Marvin upset.

"It looks like they're still waiting for orders." Davina guessed.

"Don't get emotional. Let's just say you're playing bomb car" Davina said.

"Do you have no fear at all?" asked Marvin astonished by Davina's words that did not hesitate even consider the current tense events like a game.

"Damn! I let my guard down." said Marvin.

Marvin did not realize if the car that followed behind him suddenly overtakes and hits his car. Marvin quickly regained control of the steering wheel but lost speed with vehicles coming from opposite directions.

"I will definitely protect you" said Marvin rushing to pull Davina's body and hug her.

"You!" squeal Marvin.

"It's good that you're okay." said Davina.

Accidents happen without being avoided.

"Why, why are you! Honey, you've got to be okay." Marvin cried frantically as Davina suddenly twisted her body and let herself hit the car from the front.

Davina just smiled then a moment later closed her eyes.

"Darling, you have to hold on. I beg you." cried Marvin in panic as blood came out of Davina's temple.

"Conscious. You need to stay sober, honey." Pinta Marvin tried to keep his wife from fainting.

Marvin tries to open the door to save his wife.

"Sir, I'm sorry we're late" said Orkan who had just arrived.

"Hurry and help us get out, I have to get my wife to the hospital." Marvin ordered.

"Okay sir." Orkan said with the help of several other guards.

"Well sir." they said in unison.

Marvin immediately took Davina to move the car. Orkan immediately opened the car door and drove to the hospital.

"Why are you doing this, honey? You were protecting me again. Why don't you let me get hurt?" asked Marvin to hug Davina's unconscious body.

"Please, you should be fine. Don't make me regret for a lifetime." said Marvin lirih who did not feel his tears had fallen.

"Sir, relax, Miss will be fine" Orkan said, trying to cheer Marvin up.

"You just focus on your wheel. Increase speed." Marvin said.

"Well, sir." said Orkan obediently.

After arriving at the hospital, Marvin immediately went down holding Davina and shouted to call the doctor.

"Doctor, save my wife!" marvin's hysterical screams made him the center of attention.

"Well Young Master Harris." said one of the doctors who was a confidant of the Harris family.

Two nurses quickly arrived with a pansien bed. Slowly Marvin laid Davina's body down and followed the ICU room doctor.

"Sorry, Young Master please wait outside" said the middle-aged man's doctor.

"Please save my wife, Doc." asked Marvin to say hello.

"We will definitely do our best." said the doctor and then entered the room and closed it.

Marvin is very worried about Davina's condition. It's been 20 minutes, but the ICU door won't open. Marvin was pacing back and forth with an increasingly intense feeling of fear.

"Sir, calm down." said Orkan.

"How can I calm down? He sacrificed himself for me again. I-I'm not a reliable husband." cried Marvin blaming himself after that he sat on the floor with tears flowing back in his face.

"I know how Mr. But I know Miss very well. Miss will be fine. You don't blame yourself again" Orkan said, trying to comfort Marvin.

"You don't know how I feel. He had just accepted me completely but it was like this" Marvin said.

Orkan felt sliced at Marvin's grief.

"Don't blame yourself, son." said Sera who just came to make Marvin lift his face.

"Mom, I-I failed to protect Davina. I'm sorry, Mom. I should have been in that room instead of Davina" said Marvin sobbing.

Sera could feel Marvin's guilt.

"Don't be a weak man! Don't let my daughter see this soft side of you. You want to make your wife's sacrifice go to waste?" ask Adam to interrupt.

"Dad, I'm sorry I failed" said Marvin guilty.

"Everything's happened. I know you must have been trying to protect her. And I also know how stubborn my daughter is. Right now the most important thing is to wish Davina well" Adam said.

"Take it easy and tell me the chronology" Adam said.

"Well, Dad." said Marvin.

After feeling better, Marvin told Adam about it.

"Dad don't be rash. We wait for news first just act." said Sera reminded.
