"Vina, don't leave me." cried Marvin who kept chasing Davina.

Davina actually accelerated his steps no matter Marvin's screams.

"Vina!" call Marvin once more but Davina doesn't turn her head at all.

Marvin exhaled violently then rushed to run and blocked Davina's steps.

"Aaww!" peekik Davina was shocked.

"You crazy? Why stop right in front of me? Your chest is so hard! My forehead just now still hurts." grumbled Davina annoyed.

"sorry. I'm sorry." said Marvin softly.

Davina raised her head and could see Marvin's handsome face in front of her.

The eyes of the two meet each other. Marvin and Davina's heart beat faster.

"I'm sorry. Don't be mad at me, will you?" pinta Marvin with a gentle look.

Davina felt a strange sigh flowing in her heart as she looked at Marvin's expression.

"Why are you quiet?" marvin asked when he didn't get a response from Davina.

Davina regained her senses then let out a short sigh.

"Hem. I accept your apologies. Now get out of my sight." replied Davina flatly.

"It seems like you haven't really forgiven me" said Marvin.

Davina took a long breath. Davina had guessed for sure the man before her would dramatize the situation if she did not forgive Marvin.

"I forgive you" Davina said with a faint smile.

Marvin smiled when he saw Davina's smile.

"Beautiful." said Marvin.

"What did you just say?" asked Davina who heard the vague remark from Marvin.

"Thank you. I said thank you for forgiving me." replied Marvin clumsily.

"Oh okay." said Davina.

"Yes, I'm only a few feet away from here. You can tell your assistant to pick you up now" Davina said.

"You kicked me out?" ask Marvin.

"Then?" davina asked back.

"alright. But someday when we're married, I'll always be by your side. You can't kick me out." said Marvin, making Davina gawk.

"Dream it!" sahut Davina ketus then shifted his steps and walked away from Marvin.

"Damn! Again I was abandoned." muttered Marvin.

"Wait for me, I can definitely conquer you my little rabbit" Marvin said confidently.

Davina silently flashed a faint smile on her face. When with Marvin although often makes him upset but can restore his mood that has not been because of all day.

"Master, it seems like Miss has started accepting young master Harris." Orkan reported to his employer, Adam Carlos via voice call.

"Hem. What about your opinion?" ask Adam.

"I cannot confirm the motive of young master Harris to approach Miss Davina, sir." replied Orkan.

"All right, just keep an eye on their relationship. If you find anything suspicious from Marvin, report it to me immediately." Adam said.

"Okay sir." said Orkan obediently.

"What exactly are you Marvin's intentions? If you hurt my daughter, then I won't stay put." murmured Adam.

"What's up, Dad? Did something happen to Vina?" tanya Sera looked at her husband's wrinkled face.

Adam breathed a rough breath then hugged his wife tightly.

"What's the matter Dad?" sera asked increasingly curious.

"If our daughter is getting married any time soon, what do you think?" adam asked Sera to round her eyes.

"Married? With who?" tanya Sera let go of her husband's embrace.

Sera gave a sharp look to Adam.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" asked Adam astonished.

"Dad has promised not to involve our daughter in matchmaking" replied Sera reminded.

"Yes, I will not deny it." said Adam.

"Then?" ask Sera confused.

"At the moment there's a man approaching Davina" Adam replied.

"really? Who's the guy?" ask Sera curiously.

"Does that mean Marvin? Marvin Harris?" ask Sera to make sure.

"Yes, who else? Marvin is the only successor to the Harris family" Adam replied.

"No way" Sera said in disbelief.

"I did at first, too. But Orkan always reported to me that lately Davina has been interacting more with Marvin" Adam explained.

"More Davina ever saved Marvin from an accident a few days ago" added Adam.

"How is this, Dad?" ask Sera.

"How's what?" Adam asked back.

"The Harris family is indeed a force not comparable to the Carlos family. But Marvin's ability cannot be underestimated. I'm afraid that man has ulterior motives for our daughter." replied Sera worriedly.

"Didn't he know Vina's real identity?" ask Sera in panic.

Adam hugged Sera and gave a soft caress to his wife's back.

"You don't have to panic. Harris' power won't be able to find the identity of our daughter." Adam replied confidently.

Sera breathed a sigh of relief and then sucked her face into the chest of her husband's field.

"It seems I have to make sure of it myself" said Adam steadily.

"No Dad. That would make Marvin suspicious and expose Vina's identity." prevent Sera.

"Then what should? I don't want my beloved daughter to be played with by men. Enough of that little mouse that ever hurt Vina" said Adam, recalling Vina's ex-lover, Nathan.

"Dad asked Orkan and Mely to investigate Marvin Harris' true intentions" Sera said.

"Don't make suspicious moves. We can't be sure if he's a friend or a foe" Sera said, reminding Adam to smile.

"You're a wife I can count on. It always reminds me not to be rash. Thank you to my wife." said Adam tightened his arms.

"Sure." said Sera.

Return to city A.

"I've arrived" Davina told me.

"Yes, come in and get some rest. The night wind is not very good for health" Marvin said attentively.

"Where's your assistant?" ask Davina who hasn't seen the car coming to pick up Marvin.

"He's on his way." replied Marvin.

"Oh, yasudah." said Davina.

"Thank you Vina." said Marvin with a smile.

It is undeniable that Marvin's smile makes Davina amazed. But it's not Davina if she can't keep the image and still put on a cold face.

Davina just nodded her head.

"More times can I ask you out?" ask Marvin carefully.

Davina didn't answer right away, she stared at Marvin for quite a while.

"If you don't agree, just say it. I'm not going to force it." said Marvin self-conscious about not getting an answer from Davina.

Davina chuckles to make Marvin frown.

"Why are you laughing? What's so funny?" ask Marvin astonished.

"You're serious. Just tell me, if I can then I will consider." replied Davina who was still chuckling.

Marvin smiled, fascinated to find a little laugh Davina who showed her beauty. It was only the first time Marvin was able to witness a different expression from Davina that made him more and more heartbroken.

"I like your laugh. Absolutely beautiful." praise Marvin sincerely from the bottom of his heart.

Davina immediately stopped her laughter and lowered her face. Marvin could see Davina's red face.

"Why did your face suddenly turn red? Are you sick?" marvin asked deliberately to tease Davina.

"Ti-no." replied Davina nervously.

"Then? Did you just blush?" marvin's goda again.

"I'm going in first. Good night." said Davina rushed into the boarding house leaving Marvin.

"Good night. May beautiful dreams." reply Marvin who made Davina more misbehaved and immediately went into his room.

Marvin chuckles at Davina's different behavior than usual.

"My shame turns out to be so cute." Marvin's mind stared at Davina's departure.

"I'm getting curious and looking forward to something different from you, Davina." muttered Marvin with a grin.

"Damn! Why am I wrong with this behavior? Aaarrggghhh all because of that weird guy!" grumbled Davina who was already in her room.
