The ringing sound of the phone broke Marvin's busy focus with the files on his desk. Marvin took his cell phone and the name of his grandmother was on the phone.
"Hello, Grandma." said Marvin politely.
"You didn't forget your agenda this afternoon, did you?" ask Julia to remind me.
"Sir, how many times have I told you not to have another blind date for me." - protested Marvin.
Maybe this is the 30th girl introduced by the grandmother.
"This year you're 30 years old but there's no sign that you're in a relationship with a girl. What's wrong with Grandma trying to find you a mate?" julia said she had a reason.
"Mr.. Does grandma think I'm not doing this?" grouse Marvin.
"In fact it is like that. Until now you've never brought a girl home and introduced her to Grandma." Julia said.
Marvin let out a long sigh, what his grandmother said was indeed true. But that doesn't mean Marvin doesn't sell. Many girls who pursue and try to approach him, not least the girls from well-respected families. It's just that Marvin is very uncomfortable with girls who stick around and easily give his body to a man. For Marvin, the girl who can keep his marwah is the most appropriate to be a life partner.
"Just calm down, this time the girl Grandma chose must not disappoint" said Julia reassured.
"Miss, can I refuse it?" marvin asked trying to negotiate with his grandmother.
"Do you have any reason to make Grandma change her mind?" julia asked back.
"I've found my future wife, Grandma" replied Marvin softly.
"Who? The girl who hurt you yesterday? The girl whose name you don't know? Don't be silly!" julia said.
"I already know his name, Grandma. I make sure my girl of choice will make Grandma happy." said Marvin confidently.
"You didn't lie to Grandma, did you?" ask Julia full of questions.
"No, Grandma. I'm Marvin Harris will get the best granddaughter-in-law for Big Lady Harris." replied Marvin steadily inviting Julia's little laugh.
"When did my grandson become this narcissistic?" ask Julia wonder.
"Grandmother will definitely be fascinated with the girl I'm chasing" Marvin assures.
"Sounds like you're sure?" julia underestimated.
"I'll prove it, Grandma. This girl I met is very interesting" said Marvin enthusiastically.
"What if that girl can't get Grandma interested?" ask Julia.
"I'm getting married to Grandma's choice. But please give Marvin one year to chase after the girl." Marvin replied making Julia dumbfounded.
"What kind of girl makes you so brave, my granddaughter? Grandma was looking forward to meeting that girl of yours." muttered Julia.
"Good, Grandma agreed." said Julia steadily.
"Thank you, my dear grandmother. So starting today and for this one year, Grandma won't be scheduling a blind date for me anymore" Marvin explained.
"Okay, Grandma's looking forward to the girl who makes a weathered bachelor like you so confident." Julia sneered.
"Grandmother has the heart to call her own granddaughter." grumbled Marvin did not accept the words of his grandmother.
"That's reality. Yasudah fight to conquer my daughter-in-law's future granddaughter." said Julia provoked a smile on Marvin's face.
"OK, Grandma." said Marvin excitedly, after that the voice call ended.
Marvin breathed a sigh of relief and then a faint smile appeared on his face.
"Name Davina. Kos and the campus I already know. It was just that the girl had a very strong personality. His attack yesterday is still unfolding until now. How should I approach him?" marvin murmured full of questions.
"Do I have to ask Johan how to tame women? Ah no way. Johan was always by my side. I know he never dated anyone either." Marvin said in his heart.
"Davina.. Davina's.. How do I start chasing you?" ask Marvin who is confused.
I don't know how Marvin will conquer Davina? Secret dong! 🤗

It was late afternoon, Davina who had finished class rushed back to her boarding house. But in front of the campus gate, Luna stopped her steps.
"What's up, Lun?" asked Davina expressionlessly.
"I want to discuss something important." Luna replied with a serious face.
"A discussion like this morning you mean?" syndicate Davina.
"No. It's about your safety." Luna replied making Davina frown.
"We'll talk in the cafe." Davina, who was immediately approved by Luna.
After ordering two types of drinks and some snacks, Davina immediately gave a sharp look to Luna.
"Don't look at me like that. You are so scary." said Luna shuddering in horror.
"Explain what did you mean?" ask Davina without further ado.
"It's not really certain, actually. Still only my guess. I just wanted to warn you." replied Luna making Davina's gaze even sharper on him.
"Good, fine. I'll tell you. But please don't look at me as if I'm the victim you want to kill." said Luna terrified.
"I'll eat you if your story doesn't satisfy me" Davina said coldly.
"Why would I want to be friends with a human like you?" luna asked in astonishment but only in her heart.
Luna tried to regulate her breathing and then began to compose the words that would be conveyed to Davina.
"So the morning after we had a chat and you went back to class there was a guy who came up to me" Luna said.
"He's declaring love to you?" ask Davina flat.
"Hey! That's impossible." replied Luna spontaneously.
"Then?" ask Davina lazy.
"That man is trying to investigate you" Luna replied making Davina squint her eyes.
"Investigate me?" ask Davina who remains cold-faced.
"Yes. He asked me about you. But not investigating either, he said he wanted to chase you." replied Luna honestly.
"Then what did you tell him?" ask Davina curiously.
"I was trying not to say anything about you at first. But when I found out who she was, I had to say your name." replied Luna feeling guilty.
"Who is that guy?" ask Davina.
"He is the young master of the Harris family, Marvin Harris." replied Luna softly not wanting anyone else to hear his words.
Harris's name can't be reckless anyone can say his name. Especially if someone mentions it, it is certain that person will not be okay.
"The age of 30 years can no longer be called young" said Davina ketus.
"Hey! Keep your voice down lest others hear it. Who knows if there's a spy from the Harris family, we're done." whispered Luna in fear.
"Do you know him?" asked Luna.
"No. It's just that an article about her once appeared on my sosmed homepage." Davina replied indifferently.
"Oh I think you already know him. It seems like he's interested in you." said Luna.
"Huh? Where possible. I'm just an ordinary girl, to the Harris family I'm just a dust grain." elak Davina.
"i'm serious. He said he wanted to chase you" Luna added.
"Come! Don't trust a man's words! Handsome, well-established, have power. Maybe he just wanted to find prey to play around with" Davina said.
"But the look does not reflect the image of a palyboy anyway" said Luna recalled the figure of Marvin who she had just met this morning.
"Don't be fooled by the cover. A wolf can be a sheep" Davina told Luna.
A waiter came with Davina's order and presented her on the table neatly.
"I'm sorry I told that man your name. I was scared when I faced him. I had to, Vin." said Luna again feeling guilty.
"Oh yeah, I just remembered. The Harris family background is very dangerous. I also felt afraid that it turned out that the man had bad intentions towards you. Sorry for my carelessness." added Luna cursed at her stupidity.
"That's it. I can handle it." Davina said but remained expressionless.
"Are you mad at me?" ask Luna to worry.
"No. Don't talk about it anymore." replied Davina smiled faintly just to calm her friend. Otherwise, there could be a drama of apology until tomorrow.
"Thank you, Vina. You are indeed my most generous friend." praised Luna who was relieved.
"In exchange, you treat me this time" Davina said, making Luna's fun collapse at once.
"Basar you! I just praised you. You're a calculating friend." Luna grumbled.
Davina did not respond to the babble of her friend. Davina was only focused on the dishes in front of her. Luna who realized Davina didn't care about him only grew more upset.
In her heart Davina wanted to laugh very hard, but she could endure it. From childhood, Davina was taught how to manage her emotions. Carlos's family requires its members to be able to hide their emotions so as not to be easily guessed by the enemy. For that Davina just gave a flat and cold look to people who were not familiar with it. Maybe Luna could find Davina's smile just a few times.
