Marvin gasped as he looked at the figure before him. Getting a sharp look and a cold face made Marvin swallow his saliva.

It was unexpected that Marvin met the most feared man in the country. Although this is the first time Marvin met Adam but he immediately recognized the face.

"Where was your courage, young man?" ask Adam in a small tone.

Marvin simply fell silent without a word and glanced towards Davina.

"Ja-so it's true you're Carlos' daughter?" ask Marvin.

Davina smiled then nodded her head.

Marvin felt his body tremble and suddenly feel numb.

Davina glanced at Adam who was smiling faintly looking at Marvin's reaction.

"Don't let you pee in the air and dirty my room." Adam threatened.

"Dad! Don't scare him." Davina protested.

"Hey.. Why do you care so much about my daughter? Don't you want to confess your feelings? I still haven't made calculations with this brash son-in-law" Adam said.

Marvin breaks his embrace and cupped his wife's pretty face.

"What did you say? Didn't you know from the beginning that I accepted you for who you are. I don't care who you are or where you're from. I'm in love with you because you're not your background" Marvin said.

"I was just in shock. I didn't expect your status to be so strong. I never even dared to imagine it." added Marvin again.

"So you don't mind my background?" ask Davina.
