"So do you want to marry me?"

"I...."

Davina stopped her speech making Marvin's heart beat. It was only the first time Marvin felt nervous waiting for an answer.

"Sorry.. I don't want to." Davina answered making Marvin's body instantly limp.

"You're rejecting me again? Didn't you say you'd accept me?" marvin asked unwillingly with a sad face.

Davina looked at Marvin fixedly then chuckled making the man confused.

"Why are you laughing? Are you happy that you rejected me?" ask Marvin astonished.

"I haven't finished talking but you've put on such a sad face. I can't bear to see it." chuckles Davina.

"What else are you going to say? Isn't your answer clear that you rejected me?" ask Marvin to make sure.

Davina stopped her laughter then let out a long sigh.

"OK listen to me first." Davina asked.

Marvin looked at Davina with an unrelenting feeling.

"I don't want to because you're asking me to get married without any preparation" Davina said.

"So you mean you'd marry me if I proposed to you first?" ask Marvin to make sure.

"You can say that." Davina replied.

Marvin reached into a small box from his pocket.

"So Davina will you marry me?" marvin asked by taking out a small box containing a diamond ring.

Davina covered her mouth with both hands, her eyes round as if in disbelief.

"Did you always take her anywhere?" ask Davina wonder.

"Yes, I hope the answer agrees with you so I carry this ring with me wherever I go. I know our meetings always happen without a plan, right?" marvin's reply amazed Davina.

"Why are you quiet? Do you still reject me? Then I'll do our engagement party first so you can be sure to accept me." said Marvin.

Davina quickly shook her head. Davina was confused as to what to answer. On one side Davina is still in doubt and on the other hand Davina does not want to reject Marvin.

"Do you still doubt me?" marvin asked, Davina was silent.

"It's not so." Davina replied unwell.

"Then? Are you afraid I'm just playing you?" asked Marvin who answered nodding Davina's head.

Marvin sighed then exhaled violently.

"Maybe now you can doubt me, I can't force you. But one thing you should know, I'm Marvin Harris never approached any woman. You're the first woman I'm interested in and I don't want to date you. I want to marry you and protect you for the rest of my life. Maybe to you my words make no sense considering our very brief encounter. But I'm Marvin Harris never messed with what I said. You can believe that." said Marvin firmly making Davina stunned.

Davina knew what Marvin said was the truth. Davina could see sincerity through Marvin's eyes.

"May I ask you one thing?" ask Davina before giving an answer to Marvin.

"Please." replied Marvin with a charming smile.

"If you knew my true identity, would you still accept me?" asked Davina with a worried look.

"Why are you asking like that?" marvin asked back.

"I'm not the usual girl you think I am. My identity is also very dangerous. Can you take it? Because I know, when my identity is revealed then our lives won't be okay" Davina replied.

Marvin was silent for a moment, in his heart was increasingly curious who exactly this girl in front of him.

"If you're not ready to deal with it, then you can cancel your intentions." Davina said making Marvin furrow both eyebrows.

"You think I'm a coward? I'm not that weak. I don't care who you really are. When I was convinced to make you my wife, I was ready to take all the risks. I won't let you in the slightest danger" said Marvin.

Davina smiled faintly and then looked closely at the handsome man before her. Although Marvin is 10 years older than his age, the man still deserves to be like a young man in his 20s.

"Can I trust you?" ask Davina in my heart.

"Actually who are you my little rabbit? I'm getting curious about you. I'll definitely protect you." Marvin's inner.

"If you still have doubts about me, how about we make a marriage agreement first?" ask Marvin to offer.

"You mean?" ask Davina wonder.

"You and I can write down what points and rules we will agree on together after we become husband and wife" Marvin replied.

"Aren't you afraid that the rules I'm making will hurt you?" ask Davina.

"I'm not worried about it. Most importantly you can approve of this marriage. I'm sure as time goes by, your heart will definitely open up to me." replied Marvin confidently.

"alright. Can you give me some time to consider it again?" pinta Davina's.

"One day. I'll give you one day to think about it. I can't wait for him anymore." replied Marvin firmly.

"OK." said Davina to make Marvin relieved.

"Now where should I take you?" marvin asked, realizing the night was getting late.

"To the hotel where we met this afternoon" replied Davina.

"Why are you there again? Want to stay there?" ask Marvin curious.

Davina just nodded her head in response.

"I'm sorry for my attitude this afternoon" said Marvin again feeling guilty.

"Have not discussed it again" Davina said with a faint smile.

Marvin replied with a smile and a nod of his head.

"You must still be very curious about who the guy I met was, right? I'm sorry I can't tell you the truth right now" Davina said.

"You take it easy, I can understand you. I won't ask you anything if you haven't told me. I know you must have a good reason to cover it, right?" Marvin.

Davina turned to Marvin and smiled.

"Thank you." said Davina Lirih.

"Sama-sama." said Marvin then drove his car.

On the way there was no more conversation between the two. Davina and Marvin focus on their own thoughts.

"How do I tell Dad and Mom?" ask Davina in my heart.

"I don't care what you're hiding from me. For me you accept me that's enough, my rabbit." - Marvin.

It didn't take long, Marvin's car stopped in front of the hotel.

"We have arrived" said Marvin.

"Ah yes, thank you" said Davina.

"Why are you coming down? You don't have to drive me." Davina said in surprise as Marvin got out of the car.

"No problem." replied Marvin smiling faintly.

"Good night, sir." greet the security respectfully standing in front of the hotel.

Davina thought it was a natural thing to do to welcome guests.

"Good night, Mr. Marvin. Is there any special work you need to do until the night you have to visit the hotel?" ask the hotel manager.

"No. I was just driving my girlfriend." replied Marvin made the manager surprised followed by some hotel staff who happened to be in the lobby.

"Huh? I didn't hear wrong, did I? Young master Harris already has a lover?" the inner manager is in the heart of that question probably the same as the other staff.

Davina looked at the confusion with the situation before her.

"So you must remember my beloved's face. Provide the best service and facilities for him." said Marvin firmly.

"Well sir." they said in unison.

Davina gave a sharp look to Marvin after noticing the situation.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" ask Marvin astonished.

"Why didn't you tell me you owned this hotel?" Davina protest.

"You didn't ask, so I don't think it's necessary to tell you" Marvin defended himself.

"Yes I know. But you don't have to give orders like that to your workers. I agree to be your lover anyway?" grumbled Davina upset.

"Hem, it doesn't matter if you refuse to be my lover. But you certainly wouldn't refuse to be my wife, would you?" marvin Goda.

"Curtain! Very confident." said Davina did not accept.

"Haha.. I'm not gonna tease you anymore. It's night, rest. I hope I get a good answer from you tomorrow." said Marvin.

"Yes be careful" Davina said, making Marvin smile.
