"Damn! Why don't I find out about Davina at all. Nathan once said that the girl was an ordinary person but why didn't I trust her. The aura shown earlier indicates that the girl is not an arbitrary person." muttered Amel who had asked someone to investigate Davina's identity.

"Maybe I'm the one who thinks too much." Amel's mind tries to calm itself.

"Darling what's wrong? From the mall, you look quieter. Is something going on?" nathan approached his wife.

"No. Maybe I'm just tired." replied Amel showed his smile so that her husband did not suspect.

"How about we delay our flight? So you can get enough rest." Nathan's bargain gently stroked his wife's hair.

"no need. I'm doing fine. Tomorrow we should be back in K." said Amel refused Nathan's offer.

"Well, tonight you'd better go to bed early. I'll massage you to reduce your fatigue" Nathan said attentively.

Amel smiled sweetly and was moved by Nathan's warm treatment but something stuck in his heart.

"Darling, may I ask you something?" amel.

Nathan looked at Amel and then showed his smile.

"Why do I need permission? We've been husband and wife, just ask if something is bothering your heart and I'll give you the answer honestly." Nathan said.

"Emmm.. It's about your ex-lover" said Amel carefully as he revealed his teeth.

"You mean Davina? Why are you suddenly asking about him? Didn't we agree to forget the past?" nathan asked in wonder.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring up your mass. I'm just a little curious." said Amel feeling guilty.

"What makes you curious?" ask Nathan.

"Is Davina just a normal girl? He doesn't have a special identity?" amel asked trying to find out if Nathan was hiding something from him or not.

"She's just an ordinary girl. He came from an orphanage and lived alone. Why do you suddenly want to know about him?"

Amel could see that her husband was telling her honestly. Nothing is hidden from him.

"No. I was just curious. Have you really forgotten her? Five years is not a short time. How could you just wipe him out of your heart?" amel asked with a close look at Nathan's face.

"Hem.. So you think I still remember him? Are you afraid I'll go back to her?" ask Nathan.

"Maybe it will happen. After all I was the third person who was suddenly present in your long-established relationship" replied Amel lowering his head.

Nathan smiled then gently dyed the top of Amel's head.

"It's only natural that you think so. But I'll make sure in my heart right now there's only you and this baby." Nathan said as he stroked his wife's flat stomach.

"Really?" amel asked with a nod to Nathan's head.

"You have to trust me. Sometimes the length of a relationship does not signify the depth of a person's love. Ever since I knew you I've felt something shake in my heart that I didn't feel when I met Davina" Nathan said.

"Why are you saying that?" ask Amel curious.

"Eventually when he found out I was in a relationship with you, I can judge if his voice on the phone had no signs of being sad and hurt like a heartbroken man who betrayed his lover." nathan replied as he stared fixedly at his wife.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" amel asked as she found her husband staring at her.

"You have to trust me. God has brought us together even though we have done it the wrong way. Love cannot be forced, right? Living together with our loved ones is the most perfect happiness." Nathan said, which makes Amel feel warm.

"So have you never loved Davina?" ask Amel to make sure.

"Maybe not. You could say the feeling I had for him was a feeling of admiration and sympathy for him." Nathan replied straightforwardly.

"Hem.. I can see it. Will our relationship be okay? However we establish this relationship starts with betraying others" said Amel worried.

"We just need to fix everything in the future. I know Davina is not a vengeful person. Maybe he was just a little disappointed with me for not choosing to talk and ending our relationship in a nice way" Nathan said.

"You sure? I'm afraid we'll get karma. I'm sorry, I've been hiding something from you." said Amel again.

Nathan looked at Amel with a frown.

"Actually in the mall I met Davina and I accidentally mentioned her. I accused him of wanting to harm my son when it was clear I was the one who hit him and didn't see the road well." honestly Amel.

"Why did you just tell me now?" ask Nathan.

"I'm afraid that if you see her again you'll defend her and come back after her." Amel answered honestly.

"You think I'm that cute? I have chosen you to be my wife and want to raise our children well. Although I've turned my back on Davina, but I'll make sure you're the last woman to live with me. I am not a man who easily moves to another heart. Besides if you make a mistake then I'll reprimand you no matter what it is in front of Davina or anyone else. I will not defend injustice." Nathan said firmly.

"I'm sorry that's too implicit" said Amel guilty.

Nathan sighed then raised his wife's face and kissed Amel's forehead gently.

"We are legally married, marriage is not something we can play with. I know who Davina is, she's not a vengeful person. Besides you didn't do anything wrong to him, I was the one who was wrong. As a redeemer for our mistakes to him it might be better not to bother him anymore" Nathan said holding his wife's hand.

Amel looked at her husband's face fixedly and then rushed into his arms.

"You're right, honey. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be acting silly like that" Amel said.

"Hem.. It's okay, I understand how you feel. Next time you have to be able to control your emotions before you act, okay?" nathan's message while rubbing his wife's back.

"Okay to my husband." said Amel peeked at her husband's cheek.

"Which Nathan said was right, it's better that in the future I don't look for trouble with that girl. I have to focus on my son-in-law." Inward Amel.

"Healthy, baby. We can't wait to welcome you into this world. Forgive your parents for making a mistake, but your presence is the most beautiful gift we have. We will take care of and raise you as sincerely." murmured Amel as he stroked his stomach gently.
