Pinnacle POV
I'm just gonna send a message to Whatapps when the apartment bell rings. Damar with his patent smile stood in the doorway. As he promised, no, as he said, Damar appeared at the door of the apartment that morning. He pulled my mini red suitcase left in his car. Thankfully, I didn't have to bother taking it.
He handed the red suitcase over without a sound. The beautiful jet black hair was neatly combed with a little gel that made it look shiny. The white shirt worn makes it look maximally combined with gray cloth pants and brown leather shoes without a tie.
"Thank you" I said sincerely as I received the red suitcase. The only suitcase I have. He brought a look into my apartment. My body is not high enough to handle those curious black eyes.
"Only that, no tea, coffee or breakfast perhaps?" he said he was still standing in front of the door. The black manic turned to look at me. I rolled my eyeballs in response and whispered to myself 'pamrih'.
"Come in, I'm having breakfast." I invited him in and had breakfast if he was interested. Continually expelling him also did not solve my inner problems but I also could not take it for granted. This man has a thousand times more advantages than this self. I also hope that this man's intentions are really good. Whatever that intention is.
I sighed softly remembering what happened last night. If only I had not been too sensitive to his words and also did not have to lie about the plan to marry anyone I did not know of his whereabouts. By Allah, Allah has outlined who my soul mate will be. If only I knew what my future would be like and who would I marry? My heart certainly will not tremble because of the existence of this delicious-scented man. Cih, now I even enjoy the smell of the expensive perfume that was worn, making me addicted.
Last night's incident made me go wrong. How face? I want to keep my distance without hurting his ego as a man.
My heart was pounding again considering what happened last night. He suddenly pushed me then the next minute the handsome man's forehead had already touched my forehead. I could feel her hot breath on my face. The smell of his masculine body was like poison that broke into my nose. Leaving the opium to breathe it again. Argh ... It looks like I'm back fantasizing about our intimacy. This guy is dangerous. I have to guard my heart. I can't leave my heart to her let alone ask this big-nosed man to look after her. Too risky.
I opened the door wider and shifted my body, giving way to enter. Damar stepped foot without a sound. I closed the black door behind me until I heard a click.
"You cook something?" he said he turned his head to face me.
I walked steadily towards the mini patry located at the end of the room directly adjacent to the bedroom without saying anything.
"Emm ... just a plump egg and a loaf of bread," I said as I looked at the white ceramic plate with bread and eggs that I had arranged neatly. The most practical and simple breakfast menu in my opinion. It only takes time to prepare the eggs. "Sit down!" I said after arriving at the small table that was fused with the pantry, the same table, which I used to eat. I opened the little cupboard where I kept the eggs. Put on teflon and turn on the stove and give him a little margarine. "Half ripe or perfectly mature?"
I turned my head and looked at him. He looked back at me. A smile knotted on those red lips.
"Rose perfect."
"All right, wait a minute,"
After successfully frying the eggs, I prepared a loaf of bread and dishes on the table. Take the finished cheese sheet and unload the plastic wrap.
"You want tomatoes? The cheese?"
"Cheese without tomatoes."
I arranged the bread on the plate and pulled the cheese sheet I bought in the supermaket a few days ago. Then peek at the egg I closed with the lid of the pan and check its maturity level. The egg white has solidified perfectly and the yolk has changed color to golden yellow. I turned off the stove and put a hot egg on the cheese and covered it with. A piece of bread. Just be careful if he dares to spare my food.
"It's ready, please," I said, putting down my version of the breakfast plate. And thrust the bottled sauce that is widely sold in supermaket with various brands. Start no taste until spicy.
"The smell is good" Damar sniffed the scent of a ceplok egg that had just been lifted from teflon. Of course it's delicious! Who doesn't like a spoiled egg fried with margarine. Not only does it smell but it tastes delicious too.
"Of course, fried eggs using margarine are much more savory and tasty."
"really?"
"Prove it yourself!" I said and pulled some bread into my mouth. I bit him with a big bite and chewed on him. Damar followed my movements.
"Emm .. This is delicious!" it was full mouth.
"The mineral water is next to the refrigerator," I said pointing to the gallon of water attached to the top of the dispenser machine.
"I have a business trip in the next few days" he said, announcing it as if it were big news. News where I should know.
"Then ..," I said lightly.
"I can't visit you for a few days" he exclaimed in an anxious tone. No, maybe I heard it wrong. There's no way a Damar would be anxious for me because it's too impossible.
"Good dong!" seruku. I'm really happy if Damar stops visiting me. I just don't want slanted gossip because a guy visits a lot. A man who has no ties to me. You could have picked me up alive if you knew.
"Good?" Damar. His eyes are round. Maybe his ears are troubled to make him repeat my words.
"Yes, nice dong!" I said I couldn't hide my happiness. That means I don't have to argue or respond to every sentence. I can breathe a sigh of relief.
"You happy, I'm leaving?"
"Of course, have a nice trip."
"Thank you" he said, not taking a look. "What do you want?" added offer. The eagle's eyes looked at me. He may have really been with his words or I misinterpreted the gaze.
I know how hard it is to find especially bring souvenirs after traveling. Whether it's a vacation or a business trip.
"No need, don't bother yourself," my dear delicate. I don't want to burden anyone let alone Damar. Although, mother has other principles. So-by will not interfere because it is transported by a vehicle rather than directly shouldered. It's true but I disagree. Whatever the form of carrying souvenirs is still troublesome. That's why every time I go back to the village and return to Jakarta, I rarely bring gifts prepared by my mother. Except eating.
"Relatedly? No regrets ...," he said.
Of course I want a gift but asking the guy I just met and pretentious is not my style. I may have agreed to Leon's offer that I knew years ago but he didn't offer me.
"Hmm ..," I said not interested. "If it's over, you can go," I'll gently push. "Don't be angry, I went in this morning," I said. Maybe I don't have to say the last sentence that has absolutely no effect on the look on his face. Again I talk too much.
"Do you work shifts?"
"Not really, the hours are flexible."
"Flexible?"
"Yes,"
"Where do you work?"
"In the Satellite Shophouse."
"Alright, I also have to go, thank you for breakfast," Damar said and got up from his chair.
I smiled lightly back at her words. He walked slowly to the door and turned his head.
"Don't be naughty, okay?" the message before turning the doorknob and sneaking out. I rolled my eyeballs but the man who had neat teeth could not see them. Does he think I'm a bad boy who often worries his parents?
"Go the old one and don't come back" I said to the tightly shut door.
