Damar: Love Is On The Way

Damar: Love Is On The Way
Warm hug

"Hello, it's me" a loud voice echoed through the phone I just stuck to my left ear after ringing for quite a while. This girl was not the slightest bit trying to say smooth. I have never heard a voice that is deliberately contrived to attract the opposite sex like most other girls, not other women. "Damar, your driver is in front of my rukoku, but I have to get out with Leon so I can't go home with your driver" he continued in the same tone. There's a little bit of frustration there. I tightened both jaws when I heard the word 'Leon'. This snot girl is about to leave probably dating a guy named Leon. I don't like that scenario. "The room? hey are you still there? yeah, I've, I'm closing, but remember don't scold your driver, got it!"

The connection is interrupted, more precisely Bening turned off his phone connection. I cursed slowly.

Quite loud probably because several pairs of eyes turned towards me. I forgot their existence for a moment.

Damnit damnit! I hope this trip ends soon.

The presentation continued but I didn't really enjoy it. I lost my interest a minute after the connection from Bening was severed.

I've never felt this frustrated before. I'm sorry I didn't bring Randy with me, he could be a spare tire if I needed to. However, I also need his presence to handle my work in Jakarta.

The meeting ended twenty minutes later. I decided to go back to the hotel where I was staying. One of the five-star hotels in the Sanur area based on the advice of friends who have the best sunrise views. Well, even though I'm not a fan of sunrise or sunset, at least I have to make sure that his words are correct.

I spent the rest of the night at the hotel. My intention to meet Made I broke down.  I just enjoyed the night saturating in the hotel room, peeking out from behind the glass windows of almost a third of the view room outside.

I tried to contact the brown-haired girl but failed. He didn't answer my phone call.

I squeezed a magical thing that could connect two or more people from all corners of the world in my hands.

I cursed slowly. No one will hear it even if I say something rude. I left the window covered in a plain white mosquito net with no interest in turning on the room lights.

I dropped my body on a hotel bed. The hotel mattress is soft enough that this body bounces off. I stared at the ceiling of the room that was not at all interesting. The window that was covered in white curtains was the only source of light.

The room that I had intentionally left dark managed to drag me into the island of dreams without me noticing.

I can't remember how long I slept until I heard the alarm I put on my smartphone. I let it light up and intend to go back to sleep.

I opened my eyes after the alarm went off again. I pulled out my black phone lying on the small table beside the bed. The digital clock on the phone shows five o'clock past fifteen. I set the morning alarm to see the dawn one of my friends told me about.

I threw a white blanket over my body. I don't even remember when to pull it. I walked over to the window that happened to be facing east. I knew the window was facing east because the golden rays of the sun burst in through the window which was slowly exposed.

From where I stood, I could see the golden light of the morning sun reflected on the seawater below. The full round shape of the sky will only rise from under the sky. The light is truly amazing. I must admit, although not an admirer of sunrise or sunset, the painting of the sky ahead is something extraordinary. Something that only the Owner of body and soul can create.

Throughout the eye, golden light studded with orange and a tinge of white color adorned the morning sky. The sky gradually became brighter as the golden light faded away. It is not wrong if Sanur got the nickname sunrise island.

Down there, I saw many domestic and foreign tourists who were sitting relaxing enjoying the morning. Sit on the beach with white sand under the feet or berseljor on a long wooden chair that has been provided by hotel and restaurant managers. Some people were seen laughing widely riding bicycles across a paving road that was deliberately made for them.

Intrigued by their martyrdom welcome morning. I decided to join them and say hello to the sea. Without washing my face and changing my clothes, I decided to go down.

The morning wind gently swept over me. Small waves seemed to be swaying swept by the wind. The beach here clearly does not have waves like Kuta beach which is widely used for surfing.

I caught a pair of pigeons sitting on the side approaching the sea water. Reclining each other's bodies. I decided to take a walk before I started the day.

***

Damnit damnit! I could have missed the last flight if the meeting hadn't gone ahead. I haven't even had time to buy the souvenirs I promised Bening. My plan was to visit Krisna, one of Putu's recommended places to look for failed hands.

Last option, buy it in the airport.

I arrived at the airport at seven p.m. It's still six in Jakarta. I decided to buy souvenirs of local brands that are quite famous because they are specially designed by Balinese who have a love for shoes. Regarding size, I asked the store clerk for advice by explaining the physical characteristics of Bening, height and stature. After successfully wrapping the shoes that I think fit with the character of Bening who was a little mishandled, not a hunch but a little rough for women. I glanced at the outlet that provided the typical island of the gods' pastries. I bought a famous delicious milk pie as a souvenir for Bening and Mama. I almost caught that chatty woman.  For my super spoiled sister I bought her a silver necklace and a shirt. I hope he doesn't go berserk because I just bought him a silver necklace.

You know .. waiting is a really shitty job. Just as I was experiencing now, I had to wait after boarding, after which I had to wait again until the plane I was on landed safely in Jakarta. One hour thirty journey to Jakarta for me is very long. Very tedious. I could only glance at the silver watch I wore every few minutes, even too often for my own habits.

The plane finally landed perfectly at eight o'clock. The time difference makes it so if you ask me why I'm still standing at the same time. That is because of the difference in the time of central and western Indonesia.

After finding the car I parked neatly. I drove the car at maximum speed to the Holywood Apartment.

"Did you always come home this late?" I asked when I saw Bening reach into something with his hand. Maybe find a key. His body slightly slammed.

The silver watch in my hand showed ten o'clock less when I entered the apartment building. Without me realizing I hit the number five where Bening's apartment is located.

He pulled out his left hand from the bag and glanced at the watch he always wore on his right hand before flipping his body.

"What are you doing here?" said ketus.

"Give me an order," I said, brandishing the black bag in which I bought souvenirs for him. I slowly approached him. "You don't want to open the door?" My god. I didn't expect this girl to invite me in given that it was getting dark and I knew she wouldn't do it unless I insisted. Yes, I forced it by barging in and ignoring his cruel gaze.

He returned to the bag that was hung on his left shoulder. He found what he was looking for and then attached a magic card that was able to open the black painted door. I stepped a little closer to him. I have to control the strange urges that are slowly stirring.

The girl whose hair was in these original pigtails twisted her body. His face began to blush while his chest rose up and down. His eyes were upset. Did I upset him? I didn't even do anything I wanted to do to her.

Just look at her makeup, her horse-tailed hair left a lot of naughty hair hanging freely. My hands are itching to tuck my fingers and help her tidy up that brown hair. The white tank top that was worn was more severe, the clothes were slightly open to my liking. Although the tank top was combined with a long knit jacket to cover his arms. I still don't like the fact that the top of his chest is clearly visible. That smooth skin had one black spot that I guessed it was a mole. My eyes were too focused until I found the black dot the size of a soybean was very attractive. Even though this girl's chest is flat, still I don't like to see her wearing open clothes.

The faded blue jeans were quite loose and the bottom was folded. His feet are wrapped in brown flat shoes, in tune with the knit jacket he wears.

I looked back at him. He looked back at me. This girl is really brave.

"Do you like me?" said. I nodded at the sudden question. This girl ...

I have to arrange my face water.

The hue of his face met with red as I watched his face more closely.

"Do you like me?" I said to ask. His face was flushed like boiled shrimp. But his eyes changed. He exhaled softly before turning his body and closing the door in front of me.

He slammed the black door and hid behind it. What's with that snot girl?

I knocked on the black door a few times. He forgets what I brought. The door opened after a while.

"You forgot this." He forcefully snatched the innocent black cardboard bag. "You won't give me a warm hug" my god.

"You're my father, of course" he said. "I've received the package. Now go home" throw it out. He stepped back a little to close the door. I took a step forward and pushed the door in front of me in a swift motion. I wasn't quite satisfied to see his face.

"I like you" I said. With a short movement I pulled her thin body until our distance was closed. I looked down a little and whispered softly in his ear. "That's what you want to hear."

He protested by pushing my body slowly. I tightened my arms and imprisoned her thin body that fit inside my chest. I just want to do it for a minute. I put my chin on top of his head. He froze in my arms but no longer protested. We were in that position for a while.

I pushed her slowly and looked at her. It just freezes.

"Is that enough to keep you by my side?"
