Damar: Love Is On The Way

Damar: Love Is On The Way
Eat Together

Pinnacle POV

I decided to go home early. The Business Expo preparation stayed a little longer, at least five percent or less.

Cellphone's ringing.

"You're home yet? I'm gonna pick you up?" knock Damar as soon as I put the phone in my left ear. Does he think I can't go home by myself? That shitty guy forgot that I brought a fucking motorcycle to the office. Will he put my motorbike in his pants pocket after being reduced to Doraemon's diminutive flashlight? What he is is Nobita who is undercover. As if by himself.

"I'm on my way home" I said lyingly holding back a little bit of the resentment tucked in the chest. If I could be honest, I want to spray directly in the face with a patent smile that has been attached to my mind. He won't know I'm lying, will he?

"really? Then why did you take the call from me," he said. He's pretty smart apparently. Yeah, but I wouldn't say I'm standing in front of my desk, tidying up some books and keeping my laptop in the desk drawer.

"Yes, I'll stop."

"All right, see you at the apartment."

The connection was cut off before I could protest. See you at the apartment? Whose apartment? Oh, I forgot that Damar is also a resident of the Holywood Residence. I just realized the existence of the man who smelled good body after hitting his car, no, he hit my motorcycle. Then a transparent horn grew on my head as it cornered me. As a result, I kicked the bumper of his expensive car as a high adrenaline release. Not until the dent. But it managed to make Damar windy like a hungry bear.

Given the incident I became upset myself.

That guy really makes my tubers hot. Did he think I'd take it in my apartment just like that because he told me his feelings. So yummy. I won't let him mess with my head and heart again. Point.

I pulled the red backpack and slipped my phone into the backpack. Turn off the lights through a wall-mounted switch. As usual, I came home later than my friends.

Tina, the loyal receptionist standing guard at the front desk smiled sweetly upon seeing me.

"Last home again, Ma'am?" I asked so we were close. I approached his desk and peeked at his work.

"You're alone, don't go home?"

"Wait, Leon, he said he'd go back to the office again."

"Oh, yes, I went home first, yes," said I then left Tina.

The sky turned orange as I slipped out of the glass door into the parking lot. There are only a few vehicles parked there. Some offices in the shophouse have also been locked up.

I inhaled deeply into the air until my chest expanded and then exhaled slowly. After this I still have to meet Damar or I pretend to forget. Yeah, so maybe easier. I wasn't ready to see him again after last night. Just thinking about it makes my chest shake. I'm now like a debtor who's afraid of being charged to pay.

Ignoring all the wild thoughts that were slowly infiltrating, I decided to go straight home and pray that Damar forget or at least I can avoid it tonight.

It seems like my prayer has not been granted because when I arrived at the apartment forty-five minutes later. I saw the man I wanted to avoid. Yes, my common sense says so but my little heart disagrees. Flowers as if blooming saw her standing in front of my apartment, her back leaning against the wall of the bone-whitewashed wall. Both of his eyes were closed while both of his hands were folded on his chest. Is he sleeping standing up?

Thankfully, only my martyrdom is not meaningful enough.

He turned his head when he heard my footsteps getting closer, then pulled his back, loosening his neck in short movements to the right and left. He glanced at his silver watch and looked at me. But not commenting anything.

I had to catch my irregular breath. Damnit damnit! This guy really made me feel wrong. Even my heart was misbehaving.

Without saying anything, I walked over, ignoring the sound of my heart. I'm looking for a magic card that can open the apartment door and attach it to an automatic panel. Sounds of clicks.

I turned around, looking at Damar who was getting ready to enter.

"Then, our dinner," he protested as if I had canceled a dinner appointment unilaterally. I don't remember making that kind of promise. Obviously just his writing.

"I don't remember making a dinner appointment with you" I said a little sniffly. I didn't mean to throw him out but I couldn't help myself. Every time I see him smile like that, I get upset. I would love to wipe the beautiful smile on her lips.

"I've ordered food, it's coming soon" he said, ignoring my words. He pushed my body to the side and turned the doorknob. He broke through the door of the apartment that was now open wide enough without my permission. My mouth is half open. I turned around and looked at her back which was moving away before finding the blue sofa in the living room.

He dropped his body gently and leaned his back. He was too comfortable in an apartment that was not his.

I need to be able to make peace with my emotions tonight.

I walked in and closed the door behind me. If you know, I put a grown man in my apartment. Finish my history. I had to figure out a way for Damar to stop going to my apartment. But it feels too hard. At least he shouldn't visit me too often. What the world says if there are men who are not brothers or husbands often go in and out of the apartment of single women like me. They could have misinterpreted our relationship.

I should how? There's no way I'm going to go clean up while there's a guy in the living room.

I'm out of ideas. While my body is sticky from the dust of the streets.

I inhaled greedy air as if tomorrow morning I did not get part of the ration and then exhaled slowly.

The bell at the door saved me. At least, I won't focus on these unreasonable emotions.

"I delivered the order" said the twenty-year-old when I managed to open the door. I glanced at a brown carton she was carrying and then peeked at Damar who closed his eyes.

"It's been paid," I asked to make sure. He nodded and smiled kindly.

I received the parcel and closed the door.

Now I have to arrange this dinner at the table. Maybe I should change my clothes and wash my face.

After arguing with yourself. I decided to wash my face and change my clothes after finishing the meal. While Damar, he will definitely wait. Yes, just look at him still leaning back and closing his eyelids tightly. Both hands he folds on the chest.

Ten minutes later, when I returned to the living room. I found Damar straightening his legs on the couch. He slept like a baby. Did he really fall asleep?

I walked over and made sure of it myself.

What about the food?

I looked down to see his face closer. There was a dark circle under his eyes. Was he busy working until his eyes were so marsupial. But this man still looks handsome with dark circles under his eyes. I had to control the emotions that started to go awry just by watching her face.

I blow the wind through my nose.

My heart jumped quickly when Damar suddenly opened his eyes. He looked straight at me. I straightened my back and tried to set the rhythm of my heart. Damnit damnit! I was almost unsteady with that sudden movement.

I raised my lip line by force.

"What are you doing?" I said as Damar pulled my arm in a quick motion. My body floated quickly and fell over the chest of his field. His one hand now circles my ping. "The room!" I tried to fight back but his firm hands got stronger.

I had to ignore my fast-paced heart. I could feel her warm breath on my face. Her irises are much more beautiful than I thought. The eyes ... I could linger staring at him. Even her eyelashes look so beautiful.

"I'm hungry."
