Eps 101 - Finding the Truth
"A girl?" angeline asked confusedly then she took her cell phone and checked the cctv in front of her house. Angeline frowned in confusion as she saw Firda standing in front of her house.
"Damn it, what's he doing here?" hiss Angeline and she looked anxious.
"Tell him he's at the wrong house!" her edict then she closed all the windows of her son's room.
"B.. Fine, Madam" said her bewildered maid, she immediately went down and met Firda.
"Where is he?" ask Firda then.
"Sorry, Mom. You're at the wrong house" said the waiter who made Firda chuckle. For the reason of the wrong house is really a reason that makes no sense to Firda what else the servant had entered earlier, which means he told someone there. If it's the wrong house, the waiter will say there's no Angeline Martin.
"Tell her I came alone, I guarantee the safety of her and her son" Firda said.
"But.." the waiter seemed confused by Firda's intentions.
"Just tell her what I said earlier" Firda asked. Although hesitant, the waiter went back in and came to Angeline.
"Mrs Angeline..."
"Why didn't you throw him out?" ask Angeline upset.
"She said she came alone and guaranteed your safety and that of your son, Madam" said the maid. Angeline thought about it for a moment before she finally got down and ordered the waiter to look after Michael who was currently drawing.
"What's up, Mrs Emerson?" ask Angeline to Firda.
"Sorry to bother you, Angeline. But there's something I want to talk to you about" Firda said, which made Angeline look at her suspiciously.
"Come in" take Angeline. Firda enters and after making sure no one is following Firda, Angeline closes her door.
Firda sat down and Angeline sat in front of him.
"I don't have much time, Mrs Emerson"
"Firda, just call me Firda, Sister Angeline" Firda said later and she said sincerely and seriously, because after all Angeline is older than her. While Angeline looked at Firda cynically and did not welcome the sincerity of Firda.
"So what do you want to ask?"
"I was just wondering, did John ever threaten you?" ask Firda directly at his core.
Angeline looked confused before finally shaking her head, as she indeed felt John never threatened her.
"Then why did you leave Gabriel?" ask Firda again and the question offended and angered Angeline.
"That's none of your business, Mrs Emerson. My past and your husband are none of your business" Angeline said angrily
"Sorry, Sister Angel. I didn't mean to offend you, it's just that I was very curious about John. I'm sure you can give me a hint" said Firda but suddenly Angeline stood up and chased her away violently.
"I beg you, Sister Angel...." Firda is heartbreaking towards Angeline but Angeline is reluctant to listen to her. Angelina even pulled Firda out of her house
Firda walked out and he stopped a taxi, then Firda asked the taxi to take him to an address far enough from his house.
Firda glanced at the watch in his hand and he took a deep breath "May Bang Gabriel yet to come home" he murmured.
The taxi stopped at a boarding area, Firda got off the taxi and asked her to wait because Firda was only a short time away.
Firda came to one of the boarding houses and knocked on his door. Before long the metal-looking girl opened the door and immediately smiled at Firda even though she looked a little surprised by Firda's arrival.
"Mrs Firda, why did you come here?" ask her.
"Yes, Min. I ran out of Bang Gabriel's ex-wife's house and wanted to see Om Hito" Firda said as she entered when the girl named Mini let her in.
"Papa is fine, thank you, Madam Firda" said Mini sincerely" he brought Firda to her father's room named Hito's. A man who worked with Gabriel for 5 years, who almost took his life on that night was a nightmare for Firda.
"Mrs Firda." exclaimed the man named Hito and he looked surprised at Firda's arrival, he sat on his wheelchair, and he was shocked, because the tragedy of the night left both of his legs permanently paralyzed. In front of the man named Hito there is a computer and also a laptop.
"How are you doing, Om?" firda asked while smiling at him.
"I'm much better, thank you very much" he said.
"I'm grateful, Om. Because of Om Hito, I came to know that it was likely Gio who betrayed us" Firda said sadly.
That night, Hito was thrown out of the car when the car overturned, so he survived and did not burn when his car exploded. But despite his survival, he must live in a wheelchair for his entire life. That night, when Gio pointed a gun at Firda's head, Hito saw him and he tried to shout to tell Firda but he had no strength, even to breathe was so difficult.
When Firda ran and came to him, Hito was so moved, because it was very rare for a boss in crime to care for his dying men. Firda who cried sadly beside Hito at that time made Hito try to survive to tell Firda this truth, because Gio was very dangerous for the lives of Firda and Gabriel. What's more when Firda risks his life to save Hito.
"Bring him and I along, or I'll stay here until help comes" Firda said that Hito would never forget.
Hito was saved by the doctor even though he had a coma, but after realizing it, Hito immediately told his daughter named Mini to send a message to Firda. And since then it was Mini who was smart in hacking helped Firda find out about Gio and John and find out whatever information Firda needed.
"We are very grateful that Madame Firda saved Papa's life, she's the one I have in this world" Mini said.
"That's my duty, Min. Your father is responsible for the safety of me and my husband, and vice versa, we are responsible for the safety of our workers" Firda said.
"Oh yeah, I'm here to give you a little medical money" Firda said, then pulled out an envelope containing a wad of money.
"No need, Madame Firda. The money you gave her before was more than enough for my treatment" Hito said, as Firda did endure all her medication.
"It's okay, Om. Keep it, hopefully useful" Firda said.
"Oh yeah, you're pregnant, Mrs Firda. Is it not dangerous to go out alone?" ask Mini worried "I'll drive you home"
"No need, Mini. I'll be fine" Firda said then "I'll be home now, I'm afraid my husband is home"
"Oh yeah, I found another fact about John" Mini said, then he opened his laptop and showed a family photo, of which one of the people in the photo was John.
"He's John's family, I just found out this fact and I've got his address as well. Maybe you can find out about John from his family"
