Eps 144-I Own Who Accepts Me

Gabriel prayed in his room alone, once he only knew there was a worship whose name was praying. But he doesn't know how to do it, like what and when. Even after being married with Firda and Firda taught her many things about religion, Gabriel did not really follow the rules of his religion unless told by Firda and do it with Firda. He used to pray, but only when praying with Firda. When he went to his office, Gabriel did not pray.

However, after Firda is lost in Gio, Gabriel's heart begins to be moved to be really close to his God, because at that time he was very scared, he felt so weak and he only had his God back then. And until this moment, Gabriel kept praying even though not asked by Firda.

After finishing the prayer, Gabriel prayed sincerely, asking that all his problems be finished immediately and his life return peacefully with his family.

Meanwhile, Micheal runs into his Daddy's room and Angeline follows him from behind. When Micheal opened the door, Gabriel was folding as fast as he could.

"Daddy.." cried Micheal excitedly who made Gabriel smile.

"Yes, honey." said he.

"Daddy, what's Daddy doing? Tonight Mickey sleeps with Daddy ya.." his words that make Gabriel silent for a moment, because he did not intend to stay at his mansion. But seeing Micheal's hopeful gaze made Gabriel's heart feel unbearable if it had to refuse his son's request.

"So Mickey wants to sleep with Daddy? Can..." Gabriel immediately lifted Michael into his sling and carried him to the bed. Angeline followed him and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Daddy, why didn't Daddy ever see Mickey?" micheal asked with a sad look, making Gabriel's heart beat. He raised his hand and stroked his son's head gently.

"I'm sorry, honey. Daddy's just getting to see Mickey now." he said softly.

"Then, why does Daddy live with a beautiful aunt? Why don't you just stay with Mickey and Mommy?" tanya then made Gabriel stunned, she looked at Angeline confused while Angeline showed her melancholy look.

"Because Auntie is Daddy's wife, dear." replied Gabriel because she didn't know what else to say.

"Keep Mommy who's Daddy?" micheal asked again which made Gabriel sigh long, he looked back at Angeline, hoping that Angeline would help him give an answer to Micheal but Anglien was only silent.

"Mommy used to be Daddy's wife, too, but that was it." said Gabriel, who made Michael frown deeply, as he really did not understand what his father meant.

"Keep now?" micheal asked innocently, his two round eyes looking at Gabriel curiously.

"Now no longer, so Daddy can no longer stay with Mommy..." Gabriel said softly which made Micheal immediately bowed sadly and his two round eyes showed a look of disappointment.

"Why is that?" her question was sad, both her eyes were glassy and her nose was already blooming because she was holding back tears. It made Gabriel's heart also hurt, he did not want to make his akanak sad and disappointed.

"Don't be sad, son.." persuaded Gabriel.

"Darling...." Angeline rubbed Micheal's head which was still bowed sadly "Later Mickey will understand, now don't think about it anymore huh. What matters is that there's Daddy now, right?" ask Angeline gently.

Micheal is still downcast sad, as a child of course he wants to have a whole family like his other friends.

"So, where's Mommy beautiful? Is he going to stay with Daddy?" micheal asked Angeline because it was Michael who called Firda Mommy. While Gabriel is not playing happy after hearing his son calling his mother continued with the name Mommy without being asked.

"Micheal.." says Angeline "That's Aunt, Son. Not Mommy, Mickey already has Mommy." said Angeline who of course makes a happy face Gabriel immediately turned sour.

"But now Mommy's Beautiful Daddy's wife is around. Daddy said, Mommy was Dady's wife first, so Mickey called her Mommy. Keep Aunt Daddy's wife pretty now, so call her Mommy too. Aren't you?" his words with sparkling eyes and lips that revealed a smile and it really touched Gabriel's heart. He could not believe that his son would have such a kind and tender heart as he is now.

"But, Honey.. "

"Angels..." Gabriel interrupted, then he looked at his son with a big smile, Gabriel kissed his son's forehead fondly.

"Honey, now we're down yeah, ready for dinner. Tonight Mickey's sleeping with Daddy.."

"Hore.." cried his glee, Gabriel helped him down from the bed then he brought Micheal to the dinner table as well as Angeline.

There was a feeling of remorse in him because he left Gabriel behind and didn't even let Gabriel get close to his own son.

After dinner, Micheal brushes his teeth, changes his clothes in pajamas and Gabriel takes him to bed.

"Where's Mommy going?" mickey asked as Angeline was about to leave Gabriel's room after changing out of Micheal's clothes and dropping off her fairy tale book.

"Mommy wants to go back to the room, baby" said Angeline.

"Just sleep here, Mickey wants to sleep with Daddy and Mommy" invited him who made Angeline and Gabriel immediately throw a gaze at each other.

Gabriel was about to speak but Angelien instead preceded him "Yes, Mommy will be here" Angelien said with a smile, Gabriel can't do anything because he doesn't want to be held up by Micheal's questions anymore.

"Daddy, back the fairy tale." Micheal and Gabriel could only nod their heads. Gabriel sat half-leaning beside Micheal, while Angeline slept sideways on and hugged Micheal.

Gabriel began to recite a fairy tale to his son, while Angeline stroked Micheal's back gently until her eyes began to shut and her breath sounded soft.

After making sure Micheal was asleep, Gabriel put his fairy tale book on the nightstand. Angeline sat down and she looked at Gabriel who was currently staring at her son.

"I'm sorry..." Angeline said softly, Gabriel looked up and looked at her with a flat gaze.

"I've forgiven you, now we have our own lives" Gabriel replied directly to his core which made Angelien swallow his saliva with great difficulty, he licked his lips which suddenly felt so dry.

"I knew I was wrong, so I had to overcome my fear" she said later, Gabriel did not respond to her, she put herself down and hugged Micheal from behind, he kissed her son's head fondly, "I went for our son's safety." said Angeline again, which made Gabriel look up and look at her.

"I know, we don't have to talk about it anymore. I don't blame you either" Gabriel said expressionlessly and it made Angeline feel sad, Gabriel was now so cold on her.

"Gabriel, i..." Angeline shifts her seat and she is about to touch Gabriel's hand which hugs Micheal but Gabriel quickly pulls her hand.

"What are you doing. Angel?" she asked half a whisper so as not to disturb Micheal's sleep.

"I.. I just want to apologize, Gabriel. I know I shouldn't keep you away from Mickey, I'm just afraid he's in danger, I'm leaving you for our son" Angeline said, Gabriel let out a long sigh then he sat up straight and looked at Angeline.

"You've explained that many times, I'm not a stupid and selfish man so I understand your intentions" Gabriel said.

"Now that all has passed, I forgive you and I am sincere about what happened to me. I didn't get angry or hate you, I knew back then you couldn't accept my dark side either and I understood that too. And now I belong to someone who has accepted me and all of my dark sides" Gabriel said, what else Gabriel can feel like his feelings Angeline is still there for her and that Gabriel knows it can hurt Firda, Gabriel will keep away anything that could hurt Firda.

Angeline's heart certainly hurts to hear what Gabriel says but she can't do anything now, it's too late.

"Firda was also afraid, she was also worried about what life her child had left. But Firda didn't run away when she was scared, she just fought her fear and now it's her, she managed to pull me out of my darkness, he gave me a light that I never got from anyone... "

"I'm sorry." said Angeline, looking down sad.

"Stop apologizing, Angel. Truly I have forgiven you. " Gabriel said with a faint smile.

"In that case, may I sleep here tonight with you? " ask Angeline who made both of Gabriel's eyes instantly widen in surprise.

"Angel, I'm sorry but this is my wife's bed and it's very unlikely that I let any other woman in our bed." said Gabriel, who broke Angeline's heart. Angeline jumped down from her bed and immediately came out of Gabriel's room without speaking or turning to Gabriel.

While Gabriel again drops his body next to Micheal and hugs his son. It made Gabriel think of Firda, remembering when the three of them slept one bed while they were hiding.
