Don Gabriel Emerson lantern
Eps 10 - Still Small

Gabriel returns home when it is very late, Abi Farhan talks a lot with him even about business. It was very unexpected Gabriel, he thought Abi Farhan was just a middle-aged man who lived in the village and did what his work in the village. But who would have thought it turned out that Abi Farhan had studied in Morocco and he was smart in English and Arabic. Now Gabriel understood, just because they live in a village does not mean they are left behind and uneducated.

Then, will Firda also be sent to Morocco to take his pesantren education? Because Abi Farhan said he would soon send Firda to the boarding school and Firda is a very teenage girl who is still very much into the children. Farhan also said it is not good if a girl and a man who is not her mahram always walk together.

I don't know, Gabriel felt Abi Farhan saying that as if to signal Gabriel to stay away from Firda.

Gabriel enters his room, he pulls Firda's cell phone out of his pocket and while turning on the phone, Gabriel is greeted by a picture of Ciu Ciu.

"Did she really make her cat watch YouTube?" Gabriel asked himself as he opened YouTube. Crisp laughter sounded from his lips when he saw the history of Firda's spectacle "Cats all" Gabriel said while still laughing.

Gabriel dropped himself in bed while watching a funny cat video and it made him laugh out of his lap, even making his stomach hurt and his eyes water.

Until the sound of knocking on the door in his room and the sound of Bi May calling him.

Gabriel immediately opened the door and Bi May immediately handed over her cell phone "Master John called" he said.

Gabriel receives the phone and signals Bi May to leave and Gabriel returns to his room

"What?" gabriel asked while still laughing as he was still watching the cat video.

"Master? You laughing? Same who?" john's voice sounded confused by Gabriel's behavior

"The cat" Gabriel replied "It's so funny, you have to watch it, John. I can laugh too"

John's forehead is wrinkled at this point, but Gabriel doesn't care.

"I can't call your cell phone, sir" John sounded in a serious tone.

"My phone is broken, I threw it in a fit of annoyance" Gabriel replied very seriously.

"Then?"

"Then Firda gave me a new phone, there was a very funny cat video. Makes me laugh until I have a stomachache" he said.

"I think I should pick you up as soon as possible, you're like you're in trouble there. What cat video do you mean? Did you drink alcohol, sir? Don't get drunk in the village, it's not good because the villagers don't drink alcohol"

Hearing John's long speech made Gabriel's mood broken.

"I did bring a drink but haven't drank it, I'm not drunk" and after that he immediately disconnected his phone. John's back on the phone, Gabriel me reject. John called again, and Gabriel answered.

"What?" ketus.

"Looks like the village has a bad influence on you, now you're like my angry girlfriend. First phone at reject, second phone answered. Is this a change because the girl who helped you in the toilet that day?"

"Maybe he is, he is very funny and adorable. And it's like it's contagious to me" Gabriel replied with a chuckle. And the John is definitely a head bobble now with his master's drastic change.

"Be careful with women, sir" said John and immediately Gabriel's face returned flat and is a muscle tightened.

"I know, he's still a kid anyway. It's more fitting to be my daughter" Gabriel said, and she immediately cut her phone call again, and this time John didn't call back.

Gabriel returns to his bed, he opens the files on Firda's phone including the gallery.

There, he found many photos of his cat, and after looking all the way down. There was a photo of Firda there too. Gabriel looked at Firda's photo intently, unconsciously the smile puffed up just like that on his lips.

.........

While Firda is currently listening to a live lecture from the mother. Who advised her with many things especially in maintaining the attitude as a woman.

"Sway Gabriel, Fir. Ummi knows he's a good guy, but it's not good if you guys seem to always be together and so close. There will be slander, Fir." Firda just nodded.

"Women and grown men should not always be together without a clear bond, misunderstandings will arise." once again, Firda just nodded.

"Due to your attitude in front of him, do not treat him like your own biological om. However he was a stranger, not your mahram". "and Firda still responded by nodding.

"Don't just nod, Fir. You understand what Ummi said?"

"Faham, Ummi," Firda replied casually.

"Good, remember! Keep your distance from Gabriel!"

"But if Gabriel needs more help, what?" asked Firda with a look that was so innocent.

"There are many people here, Fir," replied Umm Aisyah.

"But Om Gabriel wants to be the same Firda, he said Om Gabriel is comfortable with Firda, "excited Firda innocently which of course makes to worry his mother more and more.

"If Gabriel is comfortable with you, tell him to meet your Abi!" exclaimed the mother who was already furious.

"You're comfortable with Firda, why did Abi meet?"

"Egh, this boy.." growled Aisyah.

"Ana Ummi with Abi," replied Firda who made the emotions of Umm Aisyah more overflowing.

"Oh Abi and Ummi, if a man says comfortable it can also be interpreted he put the same taste you. And that feeling could be a liking, a crush or something. If he likes it, then he should come to your Abi and ask you to your Abi."

"Master?" asked Firda again by raising his eyebrows which made Umi Aisyah immediately take a deep breath.

"Yes not a proposal either, Firdaaa.." - furious, his breath was already heavy because he had a stupid child "Yes forget it, there is no way the city man likes you. After all you're a kid, you better focus on your education."

"Okey," answered Firda lightly and he rose from his seat "Now Firda to the kitchen first, Firda was hungry from earlier just being held because of the horrors of Ummi's advice."

Aisyah let out a lethargic sigh and let Firda go to the kitchen.

"Oh my God, why is my son not a grown-up?" gumam Ummi Aisyah's.
