Eps 90 - Another Truth
Morning sickness is something that must be experienced by most women who are pregnant young, as well as in the natural Firda.
Nausea and even vomiting makes him feel like he does not want to eat anymore and will leave his stomach empty, what else after yesterday he and Gabriel came to some orphanages and distributed sembako, he said, of course with Gio.
Today Firda just wants to be home, wants to rest.
"Son, Son... Not just a child you've been torturing this mother, growing strong and fast yes, dear" said Firda while stroking her stomach.
He had just climbed into his bed and lay down but again he felt nauseous, when Firda was about to come down, Gabriel arrived and forbade him to come down. Gabriel came with a basin in his hand and a bottle filled with drinking water.
"Honey, don't go to the bathroom, just throw up here" Gabriel said then he held the basin in front of Firda, making Firda laugh.
"Come, Honey. Why even shut up? You're gonna throw up again, right?" gabriel asked again but Firda shook his head.
"I'm just nauseous, just want to rest" said Firda then he broke down.
Gabriel put the basin and bottle on the table, Gabriel felt sorry for Firda who kept going back and forth to the bathroom because of nausea, which is why Gabriel took the initiative to bring Basin for his wife.
"You must be exhausted because yesterday, right Doctor has told you to rest completely, your content is weak, Fir" said Gabriel while covering Firda. Firda smiled happily getting the attention of her husband.
"Yes, after this I will have a complete rest" replied Firda "Company.." Whimpering later, Gabriel glanced at the clock that showed 10 o'clock passing. Gabriel was about to go to the office this afternoon, but his wife's request could not have been refused.
Gabriel went up to the bed, lying sideways to his wife.
"Honey, thank you" said Gabriel.
"Thank you why?" firda asked as she ran her tiny finger across the husband's jaw, gently rubbing the fine fur that grew there. Makes Gabriel goosebumps.
"Because you always give me a chance after everything I've done to you" Gabriel said.
"Thank you, you still want to accept me even though you know I'm not a good man. Thank you for accepting me when you're me who's a widower so inappropriate for a girl like a young leaf like you"
Firda immediately laughed amusedly at the last words of her husband.
"Yes, I live in a religious family, uh got a thug husband. I'm a young girl, uh can duren have one baby" Firda said.
"Duren? Where's duren?" gabriel asked, which made Firda snort, as usual, he did not understand the language of Firda as he did.
"Duren stands for Duda Keren" said Firda who made laughter Gabriel broke.
"Young Daun Duren, cool also implied language" said Gabriel who again made Firda laugh amusedly.
"Oh yeah, can I ask you?" asked Firda and now he put on his serious face.
"What do you want to ask, honey?" ask Gabriel.
"Do you know Gio's background?" gabriel's forehead immediately shriveled at the question.
"Why did you ask me that, honey?" ask Gabriel astonished.
"Just want to know" Firda replied.
"Whoever before joining us, we will find out first his background. Likewise with Gio, he was clean, his family died in a fire and he was a kara" said Gabriel.
Firda's forehead is now wrinkled at the thought of that.
"Why? Did Gio do anything suspicious??" gabriel asked and now he was displaying a very different expression. Now he's like a watchful hunter.
"No, just nanya. So far Gio is very good" said Firda with a big smile.
"Tell me if there's anything suspicious, in the slightest case" Gabriel and Firda's orders simply nodded their heads.
Firda who was asleep now woke up when his phone rang, Firda fingered his cellphone and he saw one missed call from his Abi.
Firda also called back his Abi and told his Abi that he just woke up and now wants to pray dzuhur first, only after that he will call his Abi again.
Firda looked around him and he did not find Gabriel by his side.
"Job ya work" muttered Firda.
Firda immediately rushed to take ablution and then performed prayer, and shortly after he finished praying, his room door opened. Firda turned her head because she thought it was her husband.
"Gab.." Firda's speech was cut off because of someone else's coming.
"John?" firda said whispering, he was very surprised by the arrival of John who arrived to his room. Now that Firda felt so anxious, Firda was afraid of the man who was now walking closer to her.
"Gio.." cried Firda in panic but John immediately pulled out his weapon, making Firda immediately silent. The cold sweat had even wetted his forehead.
"Shhhtt..."John signals Firda to be quiet, Firda moves back until he sticks by the side of the bed. Firda fingered the palpable of the gun he had stored there, after finding it, Firda directly pointed the gun at John.
Not afraid, John chuckles.
"My little daughter-in-law is indeed different." said John arrived which made Firda immediately surprised and also confused by what John said.
"What do you mean??" tanya Firda trying to be firm but real her voice still vibrates.
"Let your weapons down, son-in-law. It's rude of you to point a gun at your father-in-law" John said.
"Don't just talk.." cried Firda angry.
"I'm not just talking, I'm Edward Emerson" replied John casually, which made Firda more confused.
"No way, Gabriel's father is dead"
"The rumors are so, but the facts are not" said John and now he displays a creepy and intimidating look.
"I'm Edward Emerson, hiding behind John's identity to protect my own life and my son's life" Firda said.
John approaches Firda and with his ease he seizes Firda's weapon, John notices the weapon is good either.
"It's mine, and a woman like you doesn't deserve to hold a gun" he said sharply.
"No way, I'll tell Gabriel about you" cried Firda but John instead laughed cynically.
"No, Firda. You can't do that." said John "After all, my coming here wasn't to hurt you because I knew it was for nothing. I'm having a hard time scaring you at the resort, but it's a waste. I tried to scare you by hitting your car when you were going to the hospital. Again it's free, like you're not afraid to die. Even after what happened that night, the three of you almost died at the hands of the enemy. And you're still not afraid of being by Gabriel's side?"
"So you scared me at the resort?" Firdas.
"Yupz, but your loyal guards came and saved you. Though I wanted to kill you there" John sizzled emotionally which made Firda more and more confused.
"What's my fault until you want to kill me?" ask Firda scared.
"Because you are my son's weakness, I don't want my son to have a weakness" replied John, who is none other than Edward Emerson.
"I purposely let him be as if he had no one especially family, because family is one's greatest weakness. I didn't want my son to have any weaknesses because that's why I wanted to kill his first wife too, but she was smart, she chose to leave Gabriel. Well, I love that, " said John with a smile.
"And now I also want you to get away from Gabriel's life, don't be his weakness!" his strictness that made Firda stunned, he was too confused by what this middle-aged man said.
Firda was scared and confused now.
