Gabriel was sitting limp on the edge of the bed and he looked at Firda so softly. He did not expect his wife to go this far, finding out for herself about Gio and John. Where it could endanger his own life. Firda had told Gabriel everything, he said as honestly as possible without anything else hidden, Firda did not know if this was the right time or not, but Firda is no longer able to find the answer to this mystery, Firda must maintain her womb and her health.
"Saking worried her you're the same as Gio, you're up to doing all this, Firda?" gabriel asked burningly jealous and worried as well
"So much affection for Gio that you didn't tell me you suspected him?" gabriel asked again and there was a deep disappointment in his face.
"Don't you love her? You're gonna do anything so I don't hurt her, right?"
Firda shook his head, dismissing all of Gabriel's preposterous accusations.
"I just don't want you and Gio to hurt each other, Bang. I care about you both" Firda said as gently as possible. Yet Gabriel still looked disappointed with Firda.
"Anytime I worry about you, Firda. But you're worried about other men? Your life could have been threatened when you wandered around looking for clues and solving this puzzle, you had no idea how dangerous the life that Gio and I were living was, why don't you just stay home and tell me what's really going on?" gabriel asked so hurt, making Firda feel guilty and his round eyes glazed over. Her pregnancy made her so sensitive and she knew she was wrong too, because whatever Firda did should have been with her husband's permission.
"Darling..." Firda cupped Gabriel's hands together with her two tiny hands, forcing Gabriel to look into Firda's eyes and Gabriel's heart gasped as he saw both of his wife's beautiful eyes blushing and he seemed to want to cry.
"I love you, only you. And what I'm doing is because I don't want you to kill Gio, I don't want you to be a killer anymore, honey. I just don't want my baby's father's hand covered in blood" Firda said with a choking sound in her throat.
"And I was just suspicious of Gio and didn't have any evidence. Please forgive me and don't be angry, I care about both of you. And I found out about Gio, so that I could stop Gio because I wanted to make sure he didn't hurt you, I was also afraid that you would get hurt" Firda said so sincerely, he revealed what he really felt was true, his voice had even shaken and tears managed to escape from the corner of his eyes "My affection for Gio is only limited to brother, brother, and tears managed to escape from the corner of his eyes, I just care and want him to be a good man"
Gabriel immediately wiped away Firda's tears gently, he took Firda's hand on his cheek and gently kissed her wife's palm.
"I love you, please don't question that..." Firda whined miserably and Gabriel's guilt grew.
"No, Honey. I'm sorry, I know how much love you have for me, sorry for stupidly questioning that" Gabriel said in a deep voice, he again kissed his wife's palm.
"You're very kind to everyone, your love is sincere to everyone. No one has the right to question your love" said Gabriel.
"I'm sorry I did it without your permission" said Firda again, Gabriel smiling samr.
Once again, Firda gave her a surprise that she had never imagined in the slightest. Firda even manipulates the cctv in her room while Firda is on her mission alone.
"So you're working with Hito and his daughter? I even thought the old man was dead" Gabriel said softly.
"That's all my fault, honey. I'm sorry...." Gabriel said again
"And I already knew Gio's betrayal, I knew he wanted to kill me and he knew I wanted to kill him too, but..." Gabriel looked at Firda with a faint look, while the current Firda could only frown in confusion.
"But he loves you, Firda" Gabriel said growling, he endured his heart-burning jealousy, frowning Firda's forehead deepening upon hearing that
"He loves you so much because that's even though he's my enemy, but he's not hurting you"
Firda was still dumbfounded to hear Gabriel's words, it was hard to believe what her husband said but she knew Gabriel had no reason to lie.
"Because that's why I let him stay with us, just so he doesn't hurt you, and he really can protect you because his feelings of love are probably as great as my feelings of love for you" Gabriel said again while Firda was still at her perplexity, she tried to digest what her husband was telling her. Firda even held his breath involuntarily, this was too confusing for him.
"So... He means you know you're enemies all along?" firda asked half a whisper, Gabriel nodded "So behind me, you guys hate each other?"
"We almost killed each other when Sweetie was sick. If you hadn't contacted us back then, maybe one of us would have been killed. We pretend nothing happened between us, because we love you the same, Firda. We don't want you to be sad, disappointed, and afraid of us, we don't want to make you feel betrayed again. We want you to feel all is well" Gabriel continued.
"Astagfirulah..." Firda rubbed his face, he was still too shocked by all of this and it was very hard to accept by his logic.
Like, the three of them were behind the mask as if they were safe while it turned out they were equally aware of who was behind the mask.
Gio loves her? Wh why? How could?
I don't know.
But one thing that makes Firda grateful, at least Gabriel and Gio still think of Firda, which without them knowing, it saves their own lives and gives them a reason not to kill.
"But what makes Gio so vengeful of you, Bang Gabriel? Is it because your family is hostile?" ask Firda.
"Not.." replied Gabriel "It was a personal grudge, because... Because I have killed both Gio's parents and his older brother"
