Eps 42 - Attack
Gabriel and Firda are on their way to the Obstetrician, and as usual some of the bodyguards follow Gerbriel and Firda including Gio.
"If you weren't pregnant, what would you do?" gabriel asked while looking at Firda, while Firda himself was busy playing games on his mobile phone.
"I don't know, but I'm really nervous right now. That's why I play games" Firda replied.
"Why are you nervous? Are you afraid of getting pregnant or afraid of not getting pregnant?" asked Gabriel then who made Firda immediately look up and look at him.
"I just wanted to make sure I didn't commit that sin" Firda replied softly and the answer was like slapping Gabriel.
Sin, Gabriel never cared about it. He lives his life with logic,
"Sorry..." Gabriel also said softly later.
"I'm a girl, my parents are always worried about me. Because the daughter is the epitome of her family's honor" Firda said as she lowered her head, recalling with anger and sadness her parents over what Firda had experienced "And that adultery is a very big sin, they educated me since I was a child so that I wouldn't fall for the wrong thing. If I commit that sin, then they will be very sad and feel like they failed to educate me. And all of that happened not because they failed to give me knowledge, but because of my failure. Even so, still they feel it is their fault and consider them negligent, they are angry, sad and embarrassed" said Firda with glassy eyes, what else when remembering the slap of his mother.
"I'm sorry, Firda...." Gabriel said, "I know that sin is great, and I beg you to believe that I have tried to stop myself"
Firda only smiled faintly at Gabriel's words, for some reason as if he could feel Gabriel's sincerity in his apology.
"I really hope you stop hating me, Firda" said Gabriel then with a face of compassion.
"I'm trying to do that, I hope you're not a bad guy, Om. Because ever since I met you when you were hurt back then, it's never been cleared in my mind if you're a bad guy. This marriage is a form of your responsibility and also an opportunity for you to prove your regret. If I may be honest, I will not only make this marriage the cover-up of my pregnancy or my disgrace, but also my responsibility for my negligence. I hope this marriage allows us to live a better life and repair a broken one" Gabriel smiled faintly at Firda's confession that made his heart so touched. Her feelings are mixed between feeling happy because Firda considers her a good man or feeling guilty because the assumption is not entirely true.
But Gabriel is very happy when Firda says the marriage is also Firda's responsibility and what Firda says illustrates that this marriage Firda will take seriously. Gabriel did not expect it at all, still as good as Firda was at her.
Firda and Gabriel looked at each other and threw smiles at each other, both feeling the same way. That is to live this marriage as it should and hope this marriage will bring a much better change.
While still looking at each other, suddenly a car hit their car from the side.
Firda was very surprised and he shouted hysterically, what else as the car continued to push as if it wanted to destroy their car.
"Go back home." said Gabriel and the driver immediately turned around. Instantly, several black cars surrounded their cars, protecting them and driving them home.
Firda who saw it increasingly felt something was wrong, Firda continued to turn his head but suddenly Gabriel hugged him and hid Firda's face in his chest.
"Don't look back and don't be afraid, it was just a small accident" Gabriel said. Firda did not answer him and he further drowned his face in Gabriel's chest.
The incident a few minutes ago made him very surprised even his body was shaking, his heart was beating fast.
Gabriel rubbed Firda's head gently, Gabriel knew this incident must have caused Firda to shock and perhaps feel frightened. Though only the first day Firda was in the city of her husband but her life was already threatened.
"Firda..." said Gabriel because Firda didn't move "Fir, you're okay?"
"Fear.." - Shout Firda "It wasn't an accident, it was on purpose" he again said softly.
"It's okay, Firda. Now that you're safe, we're going home" Gabriel exclaimed.
"They're who?" ask Firda again and he distanced himself from Gabriel "They're your enemies? You have enemies?"
"They..." Gabriel could only open his mouth without being able to give a definitive answer "It was just an accident, believe me"
"Don't lie, it was on purpose. I'm not stupid" Firda said.
"They're business enemies" Gabriel replied later. Firda could only shut up and leaned his head back against Gabriel's chest.
"Must report the police.." - Lirih Firda.
"Yes, Gio will take care of her. Don't worry" Gabriel replied trying to calm Firda who still looked very shocked.
"Oh my God, what life is my husband really living?"
