Don Gabriel Emerson lantern
Eps 73 - The Identity of the Husband.

"I'm sorry, Firda. You're right, to me such a thing is common, to me, that a Don Mafia, violence and facing death are common"

Firda was astonished to hear the words of her husband, Firda was silent for a while and tried to digest what Gabriel said which to her was unreasonable and difficult to believe. While Gabriel waited for Firda's response to his confession with a thumping chest, Firda suddenly laughed. Although the laughter was tasteless, Gabriel was stunned by her.

"Don the Mafia." said Firda still laughing.

"You must be kidding, right?" her question however Gabriel's gaze and expression implied her turning, making Firda's lips instantly silenced and the instant the look on her face implied confusion. He really doesn't believe what Gabriel said.

"Speak clearly, please...!!!" firm Firda while staring right in the eyes of the husband who is currently staring at her so softly.

"I've spoken very clearly, Firda" Gabriel was no less resolute in answering Firda.

"I'm Gabriel Emerson, and Emerson is a Mafia family even from my late grandfather who was a mobster" Gabriel said that made Firda again stunned and he looked at Gabriel still with a confused and incredulous look.

"That's the real me, Firda" Gabriel said softly later.

"I'm not a good man, I'm a criminal. Violence and crime are common to me, life-threatening fights are common"

Firda was still faithfully silent, filling his head like a net of profit now, mumbling, confused, surprised, afraid, and all the other things Firda felt and thought about now.

Her husband's a mobster, a top-class criminal. Committing all crimes, even easily killing people. And how many people died at the hands of her husband? Gabriel is from a mafia family, which means Gabriel was born a criminal and has committed crimes since childhood.

Did ya?

Thinking of all the facts that fact made Firda's head hurt and his eyes were cuddled with fireflies.

Gabriel who saw the look on Firda's face that looked shocked and like a dazed person could only bow down then, Firda could not accept what Gabriel had admitted.

Gabriel has already told the truth about her self, and now he must face the truth that Firda will definitely leave her just like Angeline.

"I know I don't deserve you, I don't deserve to be with a woman as loving as you because I'm a criminal used to crime and violence" Gabriel said.

Firda was still silent and he was still staring at Gabriel who was currently bowing his head, covering his face with both of his hands.

"If you can't accept me." said Gabriel later and he raised his head and took his seat.

"You can leave me, Firda. I won't force you to stay by my side, but before you leave I want to say that I've left that world. I'm no longer part of the Black Swan and I'm doing it for you" Gabriel said with great difficulty and he tried to strengthen his heart to release Firda.

"Will your enemies leave you too when you leave that world?" firda asked his end and Gabriel certainly could only shake his head weakly.

"My dark past will always haunt my future, Firda. I know it.." said Gabriel.

Firda was still speechless with various questions and assumptions in his mind.

But when he could not accept a confession of his husband, he slowly pushed the chair back and he stood up from his chair. Gabriel could only stare at his wife who was now walking towards the door and she disappeared behind the door.

Gabriel's heart crumpled instantly, he knew this could happen, Gabriel had even prepared his heart for this moment but it turned out that his preparation was in vain.

His heart felt so sore and sore, even unknowingly Gabriel's tears just dripped from the corner of his eye.

It felt like Gabriel ran after Firda and begged her not to be left behind, but Gabriel knew it would be for nothing. Just like her vain plea to Angeline.

"Goodbye, Firda." muttered Gabriel in a choked voice and slowly he also got up from his chair, walking slowly towards the bed. The pain in his body is nothing compared to the pain in his heart now.

John's right, Gabriel shouldn't have pulled Firda into his life in the first place.

Gabriel should have left Firda a long time ago.

Gabriel should have stayed away from Firda since he was in the village.

Gabriel shouldn't have brought Firda into the hotel pocket that day.

John had warned him about it but Gabriel kept ignoring him, and now Gabriel was in far more pain than he had ever imagined.

Gabriel curled up at the edge of the bed, and tears now flowed from the corner of his eyes to wet the pillow under him even his nose began to clog. Gabriel placed his left hand under his head and slipped his right hand between his thighs while he bent both of his knees. He huddled like a cold and lonely man.

"My heart hurts so much, why is this sick? I'm like dying..."

"If I had just died last night, it would have been much better than enduring this pain in the heart"

"I knew this was going to happen, I had already prepared my heart for its worst possibility"

"But why was all this in vain?"

"I can't do it, I can't do it without him"

"What am I supposed to do, my God?"

"If he leaves, just take my life..."
