"You really just want to walk? Think about going home at what time? Go anywhere?"
Micheal let out a heavy sigh as he received the endless questioning gaze from his Mommy.
"I told you, Mom. Go to the mall, watch, go eat, after all that is done, we will go home" Micheal replied.
"Why do you refuse to wear a driver and bring a bodyguard?" angeline asked suspiciously.
"Astagfirullah, O Allah. My beautiful Mommy, Mommy didn't see me and Jibril's grown up? We can protect ourselves and protect Aira, I already have a SIM. Come, Mom. I've been over 20 years old" Micheal grumbled at length which made his Mommy grimace.
"Alright, Honey. Just let them go swimming happily, anyway when else do they have free time like this right?" Aryan hooked up which of course made Micheal and his two younger siblings happy.
"Alright, but I want you to go home as soon as possible" said Angeline then after thinking for a moment.
"Thank you, Mom" Aira said, hugging Angeline.
"Remember, Aira. Here you are my responsibility, your parents handed you over to Mommy so don't let Mommy down"
"Don't be so fierce as your only daughter, Mom" Micheal scowled "Where are ya, Mom. If people have one daughter, it's spoiled. And Aira? No one was pampering her, not Mommy who was here what else was there" Aira just smiled faintly at the grunts of her eldest brother that was, uh, grunts that he had often heard since childhood if the Aira family limited Aira with everything.
"It is precisely because Aira the girl we take care of, besides the spoiled child will not be anything" Angeline replied.
"Yes, we go first" exclaimed Micheal, who was reluctant to listen to his mother's lecture, making Angeline and Aryan could only shake his head.
.........
Micheal, Jibril and Aira go to the house of someone who will sell his horse while Zach is already there.
Arriving there, Micheal and Jibril get off while Aira stays in the car.
"This is her house?" jibril asked Zach who had been sitting on the hood of his car.
"Yes, I called the guy. The word is still on the road" Zach answered and then jumped down, Micheal peeked into the car where there was a driver and bodyguard Zach who would always be with Zach like a shadow.
"You're rude, there's an old man in the car and you're sitting on the hood of the car" Micheal said.
"Well, that's the guy." exclaimed Zach as he pointed at a man riding a motorcycle wearing a helmet and the man stopped near them.
"He's still his little look" Micheal commented upon seeing Javeed after opening his helmet.
"I also think the seller is an adult" continued Jibril.
"Just calm down, he won't cheat. I've found out about him, all of him, in detail" Zach said.
"Ckck, you have to be careful with your abilities, boy. Someday it could be dangerous for you" said Jibril casually but Zach was reluctant to respond.
"Hello, with Zachary?" ask Javeed who is now near them.
"Yes, where's the horse?" ask Zach directly at his core.
"At the back, come on" Javeed directed them to the back of his house.
And the three men were surprised to see that there was a small stable and inside of it was only one tiny horse.
"He was a little girl like her" Jibril said.
"I'm sure it hasn't been puberty" Micheal continued.
"Wouldn't it be the same with Aira? Same is still small, same is not yet baligh" Zach chimed.
"Aira is already in puberty, she has got her first period" said Micheal while Javeed frowned confused at the absurd chatter of the three handsome men in front of her.
"His horse is healthy, I've been taking care of him since he was born. I named Meethi" exclaimed Javeed who was impatient to sell his beloved horse.
"Died in childbirth" replied Javeed.
"Ma Shaa Allah, martyred" said Micheal who made Zach tartawa amused while Jibril only held a smile with his brother's ridiculous speech, again Javeed was confused by the behavior of the men.
"I don't really want to sell this horse, but I really need the money for my mother's medical expenses who is very sick" said Javeed, forced to lie, he wanted to fix the high price of his beloved horse.
"Your mother is sick?" jibril asked later and his gaze softened on Javeed.
"Yes, it's very severe and it costs a lot" Javeed lied again.
"Well, how much do you want to sell this horse?"
.........
While outside, though, Aira was still faithfully waiting for her two brothers until accidentally from the rearview of the car Aira saw a woman who was running and chasing a man who like her pickpocket the woman's bag.
Without a second thought Aira got out of the car and waited for the man, as the man was about to pass her, Aira threw her backpack hard to hit the man's face and the opportunity was not wasted by Aira. He immediately attacked the man and snatched the bag he was holding, the man was about to fight and hit Aira making the woman panic but unexpectedly, the man was, Aira managed to fend off the man's attack then kicked her shin forcefully.
"Sir, don't do this. No way" Aira exclaimed then at the pickpocket who was now grimacing in pain.
"Just report it to the police" exclaimed the woman angrily but the pickpocket begged her not to report it to the police.
"I beg you, Mom. Don't report me to the police, I'm forced to do this because I need money" the man turned his back on Aira and Aira's soft heart was touched.
He took his cell phone in his bag and took a picture of the man.
"If you get caught picking up again, I'll make sure you're in jail" Aira snapped.
"You said you needed money, right, this I have a little" Aira gave all the contents of her wallet to the pickpocket that made the woman in the pickpocket gaping in wonder.
"Thank you" cried Aira because the pickpocket was just silent and staring at Aira's money.
"But..."
"I'm sincere, and don't pickpocket anymore. There are many other halal jobs" Aira said. Despite the hesitation, the man took her and thanked Aira, even the man seemed to want to cry.
"Thank God, thank Him. And do not do anything that is forbidden by Him" said Aira.
"I understand, Mom. Thank you very much" said the man.
"Go home, sir" cried Aira again and the man immediately ran away.
"You're too naive" the woman told Aira.
"If I'm like that, then let it go" Aira replied with a smile even though the woman could not see Aira's smile blocked by the veil.
While the woman was astonished, she was reminded of someone who had said the same thing to her for the past few years.
"What he said was exactly as Firda said"
