ENDLESS HALLWAY
CHAPTER 16: THE MOTH DAD AGAIN

"Dad, did you know that we live that way.

tortured?" Cindy Pilu. His face looked up at his father who was also shedding tears. The mood of sadness gripped the hearts of all those in the room. Grandma Minah also cried but was accompanied by a feeling of joy. Even though Hendry has not fully recovered as before. The important thing is that she is starting to recognize her two children. Gradually if he has found his true self, no doubt happiness will soon come.

"I can't do anything for you my son. Forgive your father." Said Hendry with a breath of tightness.

"Dad help us who are in trouble. Kemelut will soon take us all, say what really happened between father and Romeo." Cindy Say.

The man who was still hugging his two children was stunned for a while. There was a sense of unease lurking in his chest. His eyes returned empty as before. With his breath faltered like a heavy crushed stone tens of kilos of weight.

"What happened to Cindy?" Asked the man while stroking Cindy's hair affectionately.

"Next week Cindy will undergo a trial on father romeo. I'm afraid you're involved." Cindy answered in agitation.

"Why Romeo, Cindy?" Ask Hendry.

"He was dead but left

a series of things I have to deal with. And from

the court has sent a summons

to dad. What am I supposed to do?" Cindy to Hendry.

The man shook his head heavily. A feeling of sadness and sadness was painted on his face that seemed to grow older.

"Romeo is dead, who killed Cindy?" Ask Hendry.

Cindy sobbed to tell all the events she had experienced so far. Romeo's death by six bullets took his life. Hendry became goosebumps his hair to hear the story of Romeo's death.

"If Romeo had not died in this way, it would not have been unmasked." Hendry muttered with a sigh of relief.

"Who is this young man named Rangga Cindy?" Ask Hendry.

"He's a student of father's literary faculty." Answer Cindy.

"You love her?" Ask Hendry back.

"Why did that happen to Cindy?" Hendry.

Cindy bowed and shut up. What must be said by him. While his feelings can not describe how big love is. And he was not able to give a reason why he could love a man named Rangga. Only that can be felt no other cause is a sense of loneliness and torment from Romeo, so his encounter with Rangga is very easy to produce a flower of love that thrives. Rangga is a man who wants to understand all his suffering. Rangga is a man who always gives affection. While Cindy who always craved the absorption of affection, drooping withered in the arms and whispers of love Rangga. So what Cindy can do is nothing but a sigh. Not the answer his father should have expected. Cindy was afraid to look her father in the eye again. Because she felt she had violated the terms of being Romeo's wife.

"Answer honestly Cindy." Urge father.

"I couldn't understand Dad at first. Why I fell in love with Rangga. My first meeting with the young man I took it for granted. But I never thought we would meet again. Apparently at this second meeting he was more aggressive. From the look in his eyes I could catch the honesty of heart that young man had. A third, also unexpected, meeting involved myself in the bond of promise. He was indeed a young man whom I had longed for. Without even bothering about reality, my love for her began to grow. And the cause is none other than that I need protection and a place to let go of my squeals. Rangga is a loyal lover. Until I finally couldn't stand Romeo's torture and run away with him." A fairly long description that can be accepted by Hendry's logic, although still in the form of wishful thinking. For in circumstances that were not entirely normal, for Hendry was only a grim answer.

"If it doesn't happen, I'm definitely not gonna get involved with Cindy. Many of my mistakes were unlawful while helping Romeo. He pressured me to do that.

I can't do anything about it, I'm following all his orders for our survival. But you have exposed our mistakes even if you accidentally." Hendry.

"Dad forgive Cindy. Cindy had no idea this was going to happen. Cindy's more willing to take this mistake than dad." Cindy said while crying. His heart aches when he has to see his father serving his sentence in prison.

Suddenly the old man laughed. Cindy and Zahra flinched. So did the pressure of Minah Hendry's eye movements turned pushy and empty. So Zahra hurriedly pulled Cindy's hand back. Zahra knew her father was dead again.

"I have to rebel! I must win from Romeo's actions. I will kill everyone who has made me suffer. Come closer, Romeo! I'm gonna cut your fucking neck." Hendry's voice was like a prick. His eyes were like a burning fire. His teeth were clenching to hold back the rage. His saliva dripped from his mouth. It's really terrible.

He rose up from the bed like a giant going berserk. Zahra and Cindy quickly pulled Minah's grandmother's hand to hurry away. At once the three men ran out of the room when Hendry lifted the chair ready to be thrown at them. Arriving outside, Lisa locked the door from the outside. But Zahra did every time his father succumbed to his mental illness. And only heard from outside the tantrum of Hendry who slammed all the goods. For the neighbors who adjoined his residence with the house Hendry no longer feel surprised. They were more surprised to see Cindy. A child makes his father like that. All the bad guesses are directed at Cindy who is not really in her place.

"This is how I would have if I had another brother" said Zahra

in disappointment.

"The cruel step of this reality." Expostulating

Cindy poignant.

"Let's just go home" Grandma Minah chimed in.

"But what about grandma?" Cindy is worried.

"Leave it until he realizes himself. Unmindful if we overcome his situation like that will be doomed. Let's just go home, Cindy" said Minah's grandmother, drawing Cindy's hand.

Cindy had to obey Minah's grandmother. Cindy turned to her father's house while walking. In the upper part of his heart there is still anxiety if there is a possibility that is fatal to his father. Probably dead or killed himself. Cindy's tears kept dripping during the trip to Minah's grandmother's house. The distance between his father's house and Minah's grandmother is quite far. So along the way Cindy and Zahra wept over her father's suffering. Because in their eyes the disease suffered Hendry demanded a lot of victims of feelings.
