ENDLESS HALLWAY

ENDLESS HALLWAY
CHAPTER 28: NOT SO FAST

The happiness of man is nothing eternal. Her heart also ached when she recalled her sweet memories with her husband, who had left her forever. Cindy did not think that a man as good and so responsible as Rangga would die so quickly. But maybe that is a secret of God that humans can never guess.

"It was late in the afternoon, Cin," Deska glanced at her watch and got up. "I want to go home first. Tired, not showering yet." Deska further explained.

Cindy smiled at the words, and she got up.

"When do you have some free time, can I play here again?" ask Deska before heading to the exit.

No matter what kind of push, Cindy could only nod. Then he brought the man to his house.

"Greetings to the children yes," said Deska, then before it passed.

Cindy nodded back. He saw the car that brought Deska passed until it vanished in the corner of the road. Then with a heart filled with various feelings he went back inside.

A few months have passed. Cindy couldn't count how many times Deska had come to visit her home. Every man that comes never his hands separated from the souvenirs he brought. And he could not stem how his children began to like his guests.

It is undeniable that Deska with her tenderness and caring attitude is able to be an entertainer for the departure of their father. Slowly but surely Cindy also began to feel the closeness between her children with Deska. Indeed, at first Farel and Balqis often also ask where their papa and why until now did not return home. But with a deep understanding Cindy also managed to give understanding to her children about the departure of their father.

And Cindy was also quite grateful after being given that understanding, her children were not too fussy and asked questions that could undermine her fortitude. That's why he feels good and should have children

sweet ones like them.

One day when Deska came back to visit for the umpteenth time, without expecting Ranti also visited her home. Cindy also intends to introduce both of them if she does not see the change in Ranti's level once she sees Deska.

"Eh... um, are you here?" asked Ranti nervously as Deska turned her body because since entering earlier Ranti was indeed unable to see clearly the man's face because Deska was sitting back to the door.

"Hm. you...?" Deska was amazed and trying to remember.

"I'm Ranti, sir," Ranti said immediately to name her to help the man's memory.

Yes, Ranti. You guys...." Deska alternated looking at Cindy and Ranti as if to ask for clarity what relationship between them.

"Cindy's a good friend of mine, sir," Ranti said before Cindy opened her mouth. "We've known you for a long time." Ranti obviously continued.

"Oooh..," Deska nodded.

"Sit down, Ran. I'll get a drink for a while, yeah," Cindy immediately mediated after a while they kept quiet Not long Cindy was out again while carrying a glass of drinks for Ranti, because the drink for Deska has been provided first.

Conversations also occur between them.

Cindy can see how much Ranti seems to respect the other guest, even though she has not been able to know what relationship, between them.

I don't feel like time has passed. At six in the afternoon after ten minutes, Deska immediately asked herself. With Cindy and Ranti delivered, he drove away from the house.

"Where do you know Mr. Deska, Cin?" ranti asked then as soon as they had sat in the living room back.

"At the dinner banquet when you took me that time. That's the guy I told you about who always asked around" Cindy explained.

"Oh, that one anyway?" Ranti mangosteen while looking at him deeply. "Don't you say his name at the time?" Ask Ranti continued.

"Who said?. I told you, her name is Deska. You're the one who doesn't get attention." Cindy continues.

"Maybe, too" said Ranti sighing.

"I don't think that Deska you mean Mr. Deska that was." Ranti.

"Now change dong," Cindy smiled knotty. "Your turn is called, where do you know him?" Cindy said, asking.

"Sir Deska?" Ranti widened her eyes.

"Who else?" Cindy Say.

"Lha, he is the director of the company Putra Kembar Suka Makmur. The younger brother of the director of the company I work for," Ranti immediately informed. "You are lucky to know him" continued Ranti.

"Thankfully why?" it was Cindy's turn to stretch.

"He's a rich widower, Cin. His son has two children and is currently studying abroad. Come to think of it, pity also you know actually Mr. Deska. Ever since his wife left him a few years ago, he has remained a widower until now." Obviously Ranti.

"'You know why his wife left him?" Ask Cindy.

"Eitherway. From the news I heard, his wife married another man younger than Mr. Deska," Ranti laughed.

"What you said was exactly what he told me, Ran," Cindy said later.

"Mas Deska has touched everything, to me" Cindy said.

"Have he admitted that, Cin?" Ask Ranti.

"He-eh" Cindy nodded.

"Then your relationship is deep enough, too, until Mr. Deska wants to tell her the situation," Ranti guessed.

"What do you mean?" Cindy flabbergasted.

"Don't..he's taking an interest in you, Cin?" sahut Ranti is serious.

"Don't talk carelessly, Ran. Heard people don't feel good about me. After all, our relationship has only been a few months." Definitely Cindy.

"Lho, how are you? For people who are old enough like Mr. Deska where likes to linger anyway? Once he likes someone and feels suitable, it will be quickly won by the woman," said Ranti with a smile.

"You ngaco ah," said Cindy with a blushing face. "My relationship with her is just a normal one, Ran. Don't make rumors that don't ah." Cindy replied later.

"But he used to play here, right?" Continue with questions.

"Yes anyway. Indeed why?" Cindy answered back asking.

"Ah, you're the one pretending not to know, Cin. If you think, you should understand better than me, because you already have experience. What do diligent men look for when they come to visit our homes if not attention and of course other covert intentions? Moreover, Mr. Deska was long enough to be widowed." Obviously Ranti.

"Geez, so you think his coming all along is trying to get my attention and flank me?" Cindy flabbergasted. "Sound, Ranti, Ranti. You know I just left my husband?" Answer Cindy.

"It is precisely because you have no husband, then Mr. Deska dared to approach you and come to visit you. If you still have a husband, where would he want to come here? What's up so often like you said," Ranti rubs her naughty eyes.

"You think I'm gonna turn my love away this fast?" ask Cindy riled.

"Why not, Cindy? Are you still young? There's still plenty of opportunities to start a new life again." Ranti.

"What you say is true." Cindy gulped down her bitter-tasting saliva. "But not so fast, Ran." Cindy replied firmly.

"Of course dong, you also need to think carefully and consider it well "Ranti mangosteen-beard.

"I won't forget Mas Rangga so soon, Ranti. After all, I buried my love with his body when he was buried at the time, " Cindy's sigh was almost inaudible.

"Jeez, Cindy! Don't say that, dong. Don't you think about your children's lives?" Ranti was stunned to hear the words she really did not suspect.

"Just because I think about their fate, I lose my feelings for other men. I can live them as hard as I can." Answer Cindy.

"Where can that be, Cindy? If possible, you will have difficulty dividing time. How could you possibly work while watching them? Moreover, your children are still small. How could you leave them to work?" Ranti.

Hearing Cindy's words, Ranti felt as if she reminded her of the words she had spoken a few days after the death of Mas Rangga. And he became stunned himself.

How could it be possible to leave Farel and Balqis as toddlers to work?

Who will watch over them and take care of them?

Put he can pay a maid, will his salary be enough to meet daily needs in a month?

How much does a graduate of SMP pay?

"I feel Mr. Deska put his heart on you, Cin. Otherwise, why would he take his time coming here? You know, as a director and have a tight schedule in addition to being busy taking care of his work. What does it mean that he comes here to set aside his busy time other than to show his attention to people he likes?" ranti's voice reverberated straightening her mind path. "I understand you still love Mas Rangg and not just being able to forget it. But remember, Cin. Mas Rangga is gone, and you still need attention and materials that will strengthen you to support your children?" ranti added again pitched give insight.

"But I can't open the door of my heart so quickly to someone who will replace Mas Rangga. It took a long time, Ran," said Cindy in a whim.

"What you said earlier sounds better than what you said, Cin. At the very least, there is still hope for someone who craves your love" Ranti said with a smile.

"It's definitely dong, Ranti. How unfortunate I would be if I lose to survive with Mas Deska who is long enough widowed if in the near future I accept his intention to marry," Cindy blushed.

"Lho, is the story serious?" ask Ranti teasingly.

"Don't sneak ah, Ran. Since then your words have been tripping me on. Can be stuck me if not careful," Cindy pinched Ranti's arm squeaking painfully.

"But what did I say is true?" Ranti again pricked naughty while rubbing her arm that had just been pinched. "Don't close your heart to someone who has taken a deep interest and hope in you." Ranti.

"Ah already! From this sermon only. But, Balqis called me to ask for milk," Cindy said then as she left Ranti smiling with seductive eyes.
