ENDLESS HALLWAY

ENDLESS HALLWAY
CHAPTER 27: AN INTRODUCTION

But are you still young, Cindy? You're the same age as me." Ranti.

"It's true" Cindy nodded. "But my status that has been widowed makes me have to carefully behave if not to be scorned by people." Definitely Cindy.

"I'll just take you downstairs, Cin. Is that ugly?" Ranti protested.

"Here you go, Ran," Cindy shook her head again. "It doesn't feel good that we're arguing about that. If you want to dance, come down. It's okay for me to be alone here" Cindy said.

"Suer?" Ranti's short speech convinced Cindy.

"Suer," Cindy nodded. "Come in there. Poor thing, Bagas must be looking for you." Cindy is back.

Ranti could only grimace and blush in embarrassment while pinching her arm slowly once she mentioned the name of the guy who recently

he is close to Ranti.

"Okay, I'll go in first, okay? Don't you wanna be alone in here?" ranti said then while standing up.

"Geez, you think I'm a scared little kid left alone?" Cindy widened her beautiful eyes.

"'Yes, I went inside first, yes" Ranti said a sweet smile before passing. Cindy smiled back and looked at the girl's departure. Ranti was so kind and attentive to him. Even for the beach event he had the opportunity to invite him so that he did not live alone in the beautiful park.

Another with Sukma, who since they came earlier has disappeared out of nowhere. Maybe again fun with his girlfriend.

After Ranti died, Cindy exhaled her breath slowly. The bustling yet orderly atmosphere was indeed refreshing his mood. What else from where he sat he could also notice how his children could play happily. Do not have to be confined to sadness by staying at home constantly.

"Alone, Non?" A man wearing a grey suit with his exclusive appearance came up to him and asked softly.

"Oh, uh, ii. yes." he stammered, not expecting to get such a question.

"May I sit here?" The man pointed at the bench that Ranti had occupied.

"Please," inevitably Cindy nodded as well. There was no right for him to forbid the man from sitting there. He was also a guest in the house.

"Have you eaten yet?" asked the man again to break the silence that had occurred between them.

"Already," Cindy nodded softly.

"Not come down?" again the man asked, as if he did not want to be silent between them.

"No," Cindy said briefly.

The man nodded his head at the reply Cindy gave. Secretly watching him, even deeper was the woman sitting not far in front of him. Her face is so pretty. His appearance was so graceful and alluring.

But why is he only here alone?

Is there not a companion who mostly accompanies other couples?

Cindy just lowered her face so she knew the man was watching her so closely. At the pressure of his heart thump that suddenly just beat fast.

"Ah, what do you want this man? Why is he looking at me like that?" Ask in the heart.

"Yes, we haven't met. My name is Deska, who are you?" suddenly the man reached out his hand, which immediately greeted Cindy who also immediately mentioned her name, because she did not want to be said arrogant or kampungan if she refused the introduction.

"You came alone?" tanya Deska could no longer hold back her curiosity.

"Many, Mas," Cindy said then frankly. Intentionally he called Deska with the words 'Mas?, because they think their age is quite far adrift. It is risky to call the man by name alone, judging Deska's age is estimated to be no more than forty years.

"Many?" Deska looked at him half in wonder. "Where are your other friends?" And Deska again.

"There's inside. Maybe another slack." Cindy replied casually.

"Why don't you come with them?" Deska asked back.

"No ah. It's better here, it's a lot of scenery," he turned his gaze back to where his kids were playing.

"Since I've seen it, your gaze has always been directed there. You brought a nephew?" asked Deska again after taking a momentary breath.

"Not the nephew, Mas, but the son" Cindy said again, honestly.

"Yes?" This time Deska could not hide her surprise anymore. "You... You brought a child?" And Deska asked.

"'Right, Mas," nods Cindy.

"How many people is your son?" Ask Deska.

"Two," Cindy silently grumbled inwardly. "Since then, only the questions have been raised by the man before him. What the hell is he doing?"

"If your two sons were taken, would the papa have gone with you?" deska asked again to make Cindy's heart thump.

"Mh.... Their papa died a month ago" Cindy said later, innocently.

"Oh, uh, sorry, I've awakened your bitter memories," Deska was flabbergasted but quickly restored her reaction.

"It's okay" Cindy gulped her bitter saliva.

For a moment they fell silent again, as if busy with their own thoughts. At his place Deska was furious. The confession that the woman had expressed before him actually made her gasp. At first, if Cindy did not mention herself, maybe she would not believe that a young and beautiful woman as Cindy had been given two children, even her husband had just died.

Oh, how unfortunate their fate is...!!!

"If I may know, where do you live, Cindy?" tanya Deska again broke the silence.

Cindy was stunned to hear the question. "Ah, why would Deska want to know her home address? Should he tell the small house address of his rent to this pretty perlente man that from his appearance Cindy can judge that Deska is among the people?" Inner Cindy slowly.

The removal of his bad thoughts away by mentioning the address of his house that Deska requested which immediately recorded the man's memory.

"Can I go to your house sometime?" asked Deska again making her clumsy.

"Please, Mas." Cindy's reality mind again told her to anoint thus.

He looked once again at the figure of the woman who had somehow attracted him to this. While in her place Cindy was so agitated. "Jerk is Ranti and Sukma. Why didn't they show up and take her away from this place? Have they been preoccupied with each other's partners to the point of just forgetting about it?" Inner Cindy.

Feeling bad together-dua continues with the man she just knew, Cindy was immediately excused.

"I'm sorry, Mom, I want to see the kids first." Cindy said politely.

"Oh, please, Cindy," Deska just nodded and invited him.

With a heart of relief Cindy immediately left the man, following her children who are still fun to play. They are not even looking for where their mom is.

***

That afternoon Cindy had just finished sweeping the courtyard when a black sedan stopped in front of her house. With a heart full of question marks he turned his attention to the person who just got off the car that stopped it.

Instantly his heart beat violently as soon as it saw who was coming.

Sleek...!!!

"Cindy, is she busy?" sapa Deska who immediately smiled at him as soon as he saw it turned out that the person he was referring to was on the doorstep.

"Eh, Mas Deska, please come in, Mas," with her heart at ease, Cindy opened the door immediately.

"Wow, disturb this," Deska said later as she stepped inside.

"Ah it's okay." Without awkward Deska immediately stepped in and sat on the available chairs in the living room.

"Please sit down first. Hold on, I'll get you a drink." Cindy said.

"Don't bother, Cin," said Deska quickly.

"It's okay, Mom. Just drinking water." Reply Cindy.

Cindy came out with a glass of water in hand.

"Please drink. Waduh, there are no cakes, Mas," said Cindy then to sumringah as well. Since the death of her husband, she has never been visited by another man. In the past, when Mas Rangga was still alive, he had indeed the arrival of male guests. But those were her husband's friends.

"Not bother, Cin. Water alone is enough," Deska calmed down, "Oyes, where are your children?" Tanya Deska later.

"There's inside, Mas. I called for a moment" Cindy went back into her house and soon came out with Farel and Balqis.

"No, there's Oom Deska. Greetings dong." Cindy told Farel and Balqis.

Farel and Balqis also according, he was greeted with respect Oom who was the first time he saw it.

"Sweet kids," praised Deska later.

"Yes, Oom has food for you. A moment yes" Deska immediately stood up and walked to pick up a package in his car that he immediately gave them.

With impatience, Farel immediately opened the package given by Deska. And he cheered with excitement as he saw what food was in it. None other than chocolate, candy, milk drinks, gelatin and two packs of bread are still warm.

"Thank you, Oom," without being told again Farel immediately uttered his joy which was returned with a happy smile Deska.

"Macicana, Oom," Balqis followed. With anxiety, Deska immediately poked the head of the sweet boy.

"Don't bother, Mom" Cindy said as the children passed by laughing cheerfully as they brought the food back into the room.

"I just want to share a little happiness with them. Is it okay?" Deska is still smiling.

"Well, it's okay. But you better not be frequent. I'm afraid they're becoming a habit." Cindy continued to remind.

A smile still puffed up on Deska's lips hearing that remark. In his heart whispered softly, "To get his mother would first have to take the hearts of his children. Later, if the children are close to him, it will just melt his mother's heart".

"Mas..," call Cindy then after they've been talking long enough.

"Why?" Deska looked at him attentively.

"Mas came here, isn't Mas's wife angry?" Ask Cindy.

"Wife?" Deska smiled blandly. "I used to have a wife. But we got divorced two years ago." Obviously Deska.

Now it was Cindy's turn to be amazed to hear Deska's confession. As if he could not believe the man in front of him deeply.

"Why look at me like that, Cin? You don't believe it?" deska asked as if knowing her heart.

"If I may know, why did Mas get divorced from Mas's wife?" ask Cindy with her throat stuck.

"The story is quite long Cin. But if you want to know the point, he left me and ran away with another man" Deska explained in a trembling voice.

"So... Did you betray your wife?" Cindy is still lying.

"That's how, Cin," the man swallowed his bitter-tasting saliva.

"But... But Mas has children, right?" Cindy asked.

"Yes" nodded Deska. "Just like you, I also have two children who are now teenagers. Now they continue their studies abroad." Obviously Deska.

"Oh," Cindy was stunned to hear the words of the man before her. The assumption is correct, Deska is a man who is quite present when viewed in terms of material. The proof, even though his wife had betrayed him and left him with another man, he could still send his children abroad. And that of course requires no small cost.

Unlike her who until now is still dizzy to think about what will cost her children's lives later. While Mas Rangga did not leave a treasure that was meaningful enough for the continuation of their lives.

"If, seeing your children, I remember the happiness of my family long ago, when my children were as small as they were" Deska murmured softly.

His eyes glared far away...!!!

Recollects his memories of a happy and harmonious past, before his wife leaves him and runs into another man's arms.

In his place Cindy was also stunned and left Deska stunned to imagine the good times that have passed.
