ENDLESS HALLWAY

ENDLESS HALLWAY
CHAPTER 78: THE ABSENCE OF ENDINGS

"What song is that, Qis? Lo sure?" hiss Cevin with a fixed voice.

"You are sure!" Balqis. "Lo definitely don't believe me, as long as I'm tuning the radio and moving channels, that's the only song I hear. Probably seven or eight times. The oath!" Balqis raised her right hand. "Or.. lest the song become a mandatory song for radio stations? Kudu's on the computer at once, is that it?" Balqis.

Cevin. The necklaces...! I want to say no, but say something else. "Don't know. It's possible." Reply Cevin.

"Yes, yeah?" Balqis. He did not catch Cevin's immortality, for the man hurriedly turned his face away. It's not wrong anymore. Cevin did come. He returns. She's home. And that's for Balqis!

***

Cevin's fucked up. His concentration on the lesson was completely gone. Never mind being able to listen to every explanation of the teacher, moving what has been written neatly and clearly on the board to the notebook alone can be messy. The mess continued to attack Cevin until the bell came home. The little guy did not manage to calm himself down, even if only for a moment. Balqis who could feel Cevin's uneasiness finally couldn't bear to not ask.

"Lo why the hell?" tanyanya slow.

"Mmm. Suddenly I'm not feeling well." Cevin chose to lie. Balqis stopped her from copying notes from the board. Reinald looked at him with a worried look.

"Go home." Balqis.

"Iwrt." Cevin. When Balqis was still looking at him with a worried look, the man confirmed with a sentence accompanied by a smile. "It's just not feeling well. Not too much trouble." Cevin.

But as they walk side by side to the stop after school, Cevin can no longer afford to pretend.

"Qis, if you ever find anything weird, tell me, huh? Don't take it." Celvin.

"What strange thing does that mean?" Balqis asked confusedly.

"Well, for example, you listen to the song Glen feat Dewi on the radio until many times." Reply Cevin.

"Oh? Yeah, that's weird. But for what?" Balqis turned her head and looked at Cevin with a frown.

"Pengen know. It's weird," Cevin said. "Really, huh?"

"That, huh?" the frown on Balqis' forehead is getting closer. "Well, yeah," he continued.

The bus that Balqis was waiting for had come, and they had to part ways. Balqis then climbed the stairs of the bus. Waving her hands with a smile as the bus started moving. Cevin returned the smile and wave of the hand. When Balqis was no longer seen, Cevin also no longer tried to suppress his anxiety. Let it come out and be seen clearly on the look of his face and the look in his eyes. Although he was from the same school, he did not know any of the students waiting for the bus with him. So he didn't have to worry that someone would ask.

When descending at a stop not far from his house, Cevin's unrest turns into a stabbing fret. Especially when both feet are on the page. He was unable to hold his heart. Both of his eyes looked on alert. His ears were also involuntarily in the same condition. Ready to catch unusual sounds or sounds. As small or as small as anything.

Reinald's vigilance increased as he opened the door of the house, and peaked upon opening the door of the room. Unknowingly his two eyes moved wildly staring around.

But nothing strange happened. Everything looks as usual. Normal. Reasonable. No smell of Irfan perfume. Doesn't feel a different mood.

That night Cevin followed Balqis' habits, studying while listening to the radio. The boy played the tuning and stopped at every station. But still, he did not find anything strange. Everything's normal. He did not hear the song When I Fall in Love, which Balqis said was played simultaneously and many times across radio stations.

Still it can't dispel Cevin's vigilance. Until the moment his body lay in bed, by eleven o'clock at night, the man was still watching the situation around him closely.

His vigilance loosened slowly as his pair of eyes slowly closed due to drowsiness.

***

The next morning, when Cevin awakens from a cluttered scream, his vigilance instantly reappears. With a sharp look at the entire room in the early morning that day. Again, there is nothing strange. Everything looks normal and ordinary. Finally Cevin's vigilance loosened. Instead, a slight feeling of shame toward yourself appears.

"I think I'm too parno" he hissed as he grabbed a towel and walked out of the room.

When he gets to school, Cevin's alertness evaporates. The guy even began to believe that yesterday until this morning he was attacked by acute paranoia. And he knows for sure the cause. His guilt towards Irfan!

When entering the classroom and finding Balqis chatting with Ranti laughing, Cevin's alertness and anxiety disappeared altogether. He was sure it was only his own fear. Especially after fifteen minutes before the bell, Balqis left Ranti and sat down next to her. Still with the remains of laughter. It seems like everything is fine.

"Chat what the hell? Excitingly," asked Cevin while taking out the books for the first hour lesson.

"Oh, that. Semalem show on the radio," replied Balqis similarly chuckling.

"What's on the radio?" Slowly, the alarm in Cevin's head started ringing.

"That's funny stories. It's a radio for adults. For those who are at work or married. But the show was so funny. About nostalgia. People take turns calling the story how they met the first time their wife or husband. Or their boyfriend, make the belom married. How do they approach or how they used to date." Balqis speech stopped. He was busy scraping his jammed ballpoint pen onto a piece of paper.

"Continue?" Ask Celvin.

"There must be one caller. Guys. He told me, during High School he never had a crush on girls but did not dare to approach. Afraid of being teredekin temen-mennya because the girl is still in Middle School First. So he just dares to look at that chick from afar." Balqis.

Cevin jerks. His head looked quickly. "What!?" hissing sharp. "Lo sure that's what you're hearing!?" Balqis looked at him with widened eyes. For a moment Balqis was stunned, for this was the sharpest look Cevin had ever seen.

"Mmm.." Balqis stuttered.

"Balqis!? You sure that's what you're hearing!?" ask Cevin again. Encouraged by the shock, his tone became somewhat snapping.

"Yes. Lo why the hell?" Balqis asked in surprise.

"He's just watching from far away?" Ask Cevin.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer Balqis briefly.

"He catets all the habits of the girl? All the physical features? And she also photographed that girl in the diem. Huh yeah?" Balqis explained.

"Yes. How do you know anyway? Also a horror?" a pair of Balqis eyebrows shot up. Then he laughed amusedly.

"Funny is that guy? I mean, until then. Trus from his voice when he was embarrassed for his pain time. Long time ago, he did not see the diem-diem that was. Aye, right?" Balqis explained.

"No idea!" cevin subconsciously replied in a chatty tone.

"Lho's? Elo not horrified either?" Balqis asked.

"No!" Answer Cevin.

"Like my brother's story!" Answer Cevin.

"Ooooh." Balqis was completely unaware of the meaning of the last sentence that had just been spoken from Cevin's mouth. For cevin, saying that sentence has made him shaken, so that the guy can not look at the balqis and forced to look away.

"What time do you listen to the show?" Ask Cevin.

"Obviously, seven o'clock. I usually start learning." Answer Balqis.

Cevin!

The same time. The same waves. Not just two three times he turned the tuning back and forth. Time and time again. How could he not catch the broadcast?

The momentary calm that had been present, instantly disappeared. Cevin is again gripped by anxiety that is now starting to mix with fear.

But not necessarily, he whispered later in his heart. Maybe people have the same story as Irfan. That's kind of a classic story.

"Who's that guy's name?" tanyanya.

"No idea. I know it's late." Answer Balqis.

"Trus, what's the ending? They're made?" Ask Cevin.

"That's him I sprained! Huh!" Balqis tapped her ballpoint pen to the table. "In my house semalem lights off! Just for a second. About ten minutes. But as soon as the electricity goes on again, the story is finished. The story is about the next caller. Sebel! I was curious about the ending." Balqis Clearly Later.

While Balqis's face pouted in annoyance not knowing the ending of the story she heard last night, Cevin's face was pale.

The absence of a name and the absence of an ending…!!!

No doubt about it. Everything is clear. Irfan is back! Cevin fucked. Much more messed up than yesterday. The guy tried to cover it up, albeit with great difficulty.

As the break bell rang, Cevin immediately stood up. Without caring that his desk was still a mess and without saying anything to Balqis, the guy walked out of the classroom. Balqis followed him with a look of wonder and wonder. Cevin walked with quick steps towards the toilet. One of the rooms was locked from the inside. Then he turned on the faucet so that no one would know that he was doing nothing. Just want to keep quiet. Pondered...!!! Think...!!! Without worry invites wonder and questions.

The man stood still with his back resting on one side of the wall. Both hands are folded in front of the chest. In the midst of anxiety, turmoil, and increasingly stabbing fear, Cevin continues to think and wonder in his heart, whether Irfan really came back but...!!!

No longer visible...!!!

No longer visible...!!!

No longer palpable...!!!

That question will definitely not find a definite answer. Even though Cevin had spent the entire hour of rest in silence in one of the toilet cubicles, when he came out anyway the question remained a question. There was no answer he could get unless he wanted to trust his own intuition.

Towards the end of the break, Balqis was shocked to see Cevin walking into class with a very pale face.

"Lo's sick, huh?" tanta's worried. "Face up lo shoots really." Ask Balqis.

"He-uh." Cevin answered briefly. "Have food, right? I didn't go to the canteen." Further.

"There, chocolate bars. But there's only two minutes left." Balqis.

"Enough. Where's?" Ask Cevin.

Balqis took out the chocolate bar she was going to bring home from the bag and handed it to Cevin. The man immediately tore the package apart and devoured its contents quickly.

"Thanks," He smiled at the last straw.

The shoulder of Balqis. "Now I'm healthy" he said, to put an end to the anxious look in both eyes.

"Much spades? Just a chocolate bar, again." Balqis.

Cevin laughed softly...!!!

"Gue isn't sick, but laxity!" said lying. "The English Deuteronomy. Ready it?" Ask Cevin.

"Everybody is not ready" Balqis snorted. The girl was indeed weak in all subjects with her "language" title.

Cevin laughed without a sound.

Bell rings...!!!

The entire class immediately went to their respective benches. They immediately pulled out a paper. Ms. Ekawati, an English teacher, has been telling me about this replay for two weeks.

Soon Mrs Ekawati entered the class. One hand hugged a map containing copies of questions. Without saying much, he immediately divided the pile into four parts and put it on the four leading tables. The eight disciples sitting at the leading table immediately passed it to their friend behind, after leaving a sheet for themselves.

The whole class immediately got ready and Mrs Ekawati sat up straight in her chair. He made sure that every student in front of him was working on the matter using only their own brains.

Silent class. Although he was surprised because the twenty questions were all formatted Right or Wrong answers, the entire class immediately concentrated hard in front of each.

Including Cevin. The guy also immediately drowned in the seriousness of answering the row of questions in front of him. When he finally finished working on these twenty problems, Cevin found that the whole answer was!

This has never happened. Cevin reread the whole thing from the beginning. Still, the answer he got was "Right" for the whole matter. Still not sure, once again Cevin reread the whole matter. After all, the overall answer to that question is "Right".

Cevin's face paled. Now he realized, this was the answer to the question he asked in his heart when he locked himself in the toilet cubicle during the break.

"Has Irfan really come back?"

Before his eyes, the answer to that question was given in twenty repetitions.

AYE!!!
