ENDLESS HALLWAY

ENDLESS HALLWAY
CHAPTER 71: OH MY GOD!

The next day Cevin left school again with the determination to be able to make Balqis open his mouth. But not this time with anger. Cevin arrives early in the morning, hoping for more opportunities before the rest of the class arrives.

But it's useless. Balqis came just ten minutes before the bell, and immediately made Cevin fixated on his stool.

There was so much blue attached to Balqis this morning. Cevin stared at the shades of blue, and immediately remembered a sentence written on the notebook about Balqis that Irfan left behind.

I love the color blue...!!!

"Lo likes blue, huh, Qis?" cevin's mouth just opened.

Balqis did not listen. He also does not want to look. After putting her bag in the drawer, the girl immediately walked out of the classroom. Because he did not want to look that Balqis so do not know the changes that happened to Cevin. What was clearly caught in his brain was that Cevin had not given up.

The doorbell rings. Balqis stepped in lazily. Always has. The moments leading up to him must be next to Cevin always make Balqis bete. Especially when he was next to Cevin, make bete again. And, sure enough. Just two seconds into his seat, Cevin had already greeted him with a question.

"Qis, do you like blue?" Ask Cevin.

Again Balqis did not turn his head, let alone answer, because in his head had appeared various allegations. Cevin would have said, "What the hell? Ugly taste! Cool color, silver. Millennium color. Strong color. A blue? Norak! The melancholy is unclear. Censorship. Loves fantasizing. Easy offended!"

"Yes? Do you like the blue color?" cevin asked again, his voice sounding soft.

At the same time, Balqis recalled the three stable yellow, green and blue that Vishnu had borrowed yesterday. The girl immediately felt relieved because there was a reason not to ignore Cevin.

"Nu, where's my stabilo? I want to use it!" he cried, stood up and approached the table of Vishnu. Then Balqis deliberately linger there, and only returned to his stool after the teacher came.

Cevin hit the wall!

Suddenly the guy realized he was doing exactly the same thing as Irfan had done. Observing Balqis and his behavior from a distance. Just like he is doing right now.

In the cafeteria, Cevin chose to sit among the students of another class he didn't know in order to not have to talk. That way he could calmly pay attention to Balqis. With a hodgepodge plate in each hand, Balqis and Ranti approach one of their classmates, Ayu, then sit in front of him.

Ayu is very religious. The other kids if they want to eat. Even if you previously used to pray, most pray ala scantily. If Ayu is another. Khusyuk. Use the nduk event all. His eyes brushed, again. That's how much reading is. In addition to thanking God for giving him the blessing of this meal, he also prayed for the people around him, especially those in distress. Begging the Lord that they too be given the blessing of food.

I forgot that there was a demon in front of me. Two, again. As soon as the girl finished praying and opened her eyes, thanks to her food was gone!

The best part, again. Rice is just as much vegetable still intact. But the chicken has disappeared. Without leaving a trace.

Confusedly Ayu stared at his plate, then searched the floor and under the table. His gaze turned to Balqis and Ranti who were sitting in front of him. He wanted to ask but was not, because he saw the two friends were praying. More fervent than his own prayer. So good is this Ayu, until it does not cross his mind that people who are praying very fervently should be suspected. Especially if the one who prays Balqis.

Only after Balqis and Ranti finished praying and opened their eyes did Ayu ask her about the missing chicken. Of course the answer he received was a headband.

Balqis and Ranti then help Ayu find the missing fried chicken. Balqis is the most passionate. He looked out of the canteen all. The reason is, "Kan lo know himself, chickens like to run around."

"This fried chicken is so, Qis," said Ayu annoyed.

From his seat, Cevin witnessed the event. The man smiled involuntarily. But soon the smile disappeared.

Cevin felt he shouldn't have done the same thing Irfan did. Irfan has a good reason. Balqis does not know him. While Cevin knows Balqis. After all, the time must be watching the girl who sits with her every day, just half a meter next to her!

When he returns to class, Cevin is determined to get Balqis to talk to him. Must be able to make Balqis turn her head and look at her.

Can...!!!

And what Cevin wanted happened, but not at all what he expected. Indra, my friend Vishnu, asked permission to go home. Now Vishnu sat alone. The man then took Balqis to sit with him. Balqis clearly agreed because he could be freed from Cevin.

What a beautiful thing...!!!

Cevin became angry when suddenly alone and Balqis is now in a corner, next to Vishnu. Balqis, the girl Irfan was expecting. Since the elder brother was now gone, for Cevin the only place for Balqis was next to him.

"Balqis, come back here. Don't sit there!" Cevin's orders.

"What the hell is that guy?" Balqis glanced lazily.

"Not good girl sitting behind that. In the corner, again. Back here!" cevin's orders again, so it's getting riled up.

"Lo why the hell, Vin? So fierce. Let alone. It is up to him to sit where, again," said Vishnu, Cevin did not comment on Vishnu's remarks.

"You don't want to sit here, go back to your bench!" Say Cevin again.

"Where can you, again?' Balqis replied in annoyance. "Where do you want to sit? My bench is occupied by temen lo. Elo told him to sit on my bench." Answer Balqis.

Cevin immediately directed his gaze at Toni. The other classmates also stared at Toni in confusion.

"Ton, you come back here!" exclaim Cevin.

"No, ah!" Toni looked at it for a moment.

"Reverse here, Ton. Very please. Let Balqis sit there." Cevin Pinta.

Cevin's tone declined, trying to persuade Toni to move. But Toni refused. Be clear. Which makes him so excited to go to school every morning right because sitting my brother with Ranti, the girl of his puja. Back to back again, sitting among the likes again, will make crisp and bego, because most joking than learning.

The teacher finally came to the class, Cevin stopped his efforts, was forced to surrender to Balqis as I was with Vishnu, and was forced to sit alone.

Meanwhile, the rest of the class was confused when they saw Cevin so angry that Balqis refused to sit next to him. Then that assumption, that Balqis has a crush on Cevin, is wrong. The right is the opposite. Cevin has a crush on Balqis!

In order to avoid Cevin and his indignation, five minutes before the bell, Balqis had already cleaned up his books and stationery.

"Lo's gonna run away, all right?" whiskey Vishnu.

"He-uh." Balqis. "Gue's fighting again. Mending home. Eat truss sleep." Balqis.

"Why the hell is he? So angry?" Ask Vishnu.

"Or. It's not clear." Answer Balqis.

As soon as the bell went home, Balqis went outside the classroom. Cevin could only stare at him furiously. He could not catch up because his property was still a mess, plus not yet finished recording anyway.

***

The opportunity came the next day. Cevin finds Balqis standing in front of Ranti looking panicked. From the conversation of the two girls who were accidentally caught by him, it turns out Balqis forgot to bring a print book on Citizenship Education. Damn, today obviously the ones with the lesson schedule are just their classes.

Balqis deserves to panic. You see Bu Tina Kartini, a teacher of Citizenship Education, is indeed the most anti-starch and the most rampant if there are students who do not bring printed books during their study hours. No matter what the reason. The information was based on very reliable sources, namely students who had never brought a printed book of Citizenship Education for various reasons then felt the tantrum of Bu Tina Kartini.

Feeling that he had found an opening to tear down the wall that Balqis had built, Cevin no longer tried to get her to talk. Only after the turn of the lesson and the Citizenship Education turn arrived did Cevin open his mouth.

"Why?" ask Cevin. "Lo didn't bring a copy of Citizenship Education, did he?"

"Forgot!" reply Balqis.

The first voice that was shown to Cevin, after days of silence. Tartly. Ruggedly. But Cevin was grateful that the girl's lips were finally opened for him.

"Just the same. Still no title, right?" Cevin.

"Trus why? Do you want to follow my anger too? Just may. Its nothing. But wait for your turn, huh? Miss Tina Kartini first, new elo." Balqis.

"Now!" Cevin put his printed book Citizenship Education in front of Balqis. "Lo take it. Now find me any printed book. What matters is that the front is covered." Cevin.

Balqis stared at Cevin. The judges are instantly gone.

"Buruan!" cevin's orders are fierce. "Look up, again. Miss Tina Kartini coming!" Cevin Desperate.

"Yes! Aye!" quickly Balqis got up. It is not difficult to find a printed book that has a cover. He soon returned with Ayu's math book.

"Strawberries!?" Cevin glares. "There's tape, again. Lo how the hell? This is the same as telling Ms. Tina Kartini this time is not my book." Cevin.

"Lo said that the front cover?" Balqis Reply.

"Yes don't use strawberry pita dong, Qis. Where is pink anyway. This is a real girl. Except I've had gay symptoms all this time." Cevin.

"There's no more. Intan's book, the cover of a picture of colorful candy. Fitri's book, the cover is Winnie the Pooh." Answer Balqis.

Cevin looked at Ayu's math print and clicked his tongue. "For nothing!" he said while shaking his head. A smile was drawn on his lips. Seeing Cevin's expression, Balqis could not help but be amused. Suddenly his laughter broke. Cevin.

"Laughter, again!" Cevin snorted, making Balqis even more chuckle.

"Oh, yes!" exclaim Balqis later. "All of Kiki's books are covered in chocolate."

"Oh, yes!" Cevin snapped a finger. "Combat, Qis. Pinjemin one. Any printed book. But not mathematics. The numbers are about it." Cevin.

"Yes, you know. It's a printed book with a lot of letters, right?" exclaimed Balqis, who was already walking with quick steps towards the bench Kiki.

"Sip!" Cevin called back.

Because Kiki always wrote his name and the name of the relevant textbook on the front cover, forced Cevin and Balqis to remove the brown cover and turn the inside out to hide the name of the owner of the book and the writing "Indonesian" listed there. Beres already! The book is now pretending to be a Citizenship Education book.

Cevin and Balqis exhaled a sigh of relief together. None of them realized that the tension between them had melted away. The anger disappeared and all the quarrels that had ever happened were forgotten.

A few moments later, both of them woke up. By borrowing Kiki's book, it's the same as directly telling Bu Tina Kartini that the book now in Cevin's hands is not a book of Citizenship Education. Because in their class, the only books on the brown cover were Kiki's. And Kiki can't possibly have two books on Citizenship Education. So one of the two chocolate-covered books is definitely a fake. And certainly, the book that is pretending to be a Citizenship Education book is the book that Cevin is now holding!

"Gue borrowed again Ayu's book earlier. Here, your book." Balqis returned the book Cevin Citizenship Education and then rose to his feet.

Too late...!!!

Ms. Tina Kartini had already appeared in the doorway.balqis immediately sat back down.

"Udah, you take it," whispered Cevin as he shifted his book back to Balqis.

"Where is Trus?" balqis whisper. Cevin looked at him with full anxiety.

"Yes doain, hopefully not glaring. You see, I'll be abis diomelin." Cevin.

Then, following the entire class, Cevin opened the book in front of him on the page that Bu Tina Kartini ordered.

"Lo face do not look anxious that dong. I was immediately stunned, "he whispered as he unintentionally looked at the glance and saw Balqis glancing at him with an anxious expression that was clearly visible. The girl hastily changed her face water.

Next is the heavier part. When explaining the lesson, Ms. Tina Kartini never stayed in one place. Always on the way here and there. Hence Cevin again closed his book, because the arrangement of paragraphs and the location of the different subtitles will make anyone who sees even from a distance know that the one in front of Cevin is not a Citizenship Education book.

But the chocolate cover has become a trademark of Kiki. So once in the class there were two books covered in chocolate, Bu Tina Kartini immediately knew, the book Cevin held was Kiki's book. Whether the textbook print what, clearly the book is now disguised as a textbook of Citizenship Education.

With a face that slowly turned cold, Bu Tina Kartini fixed her gaze on Cevin and gave the order in a sharp tone.

"You're in the back, what's your name?" Bu Tina Kartini who was standing leaning against the teacher's desk immediately grabbed the student attendance book from the table next to her. "Cevins. Read the first three paragraphs!"

"Campus me!" hiss Cevin. "wills too. Cepet, again!"

Accompanied by Balqis who glanced at him with a look of anxiety and guilt, Cevin raised his head.

"I have a toothache again, ma'am" he said in a voice made as clear as possible.

Obviously, Ms. Tina Kartini doesn't believe it. In addition because he already knew that Cevin was holding was not a book of subjects he taught, also because Cevin looks not like the look of people who have toothaches.

"Read slowly then" said Bu Tina Kartini in a sweet tone.

"Edmmm…." Cevin confusion.

"You didn't bring a book, did you? The book you're holding right now is not my textbook, is it?" The sweet tone in Bu Tina Kartini's voice disappeared and turned fierce. His gaze was straight and sharp towards Cevin.

Cevin realized, free evasive. It will only make things worse.

"Yes, Mom. I forgot to bring a book." In the wake of Balqis's war, Cevin nodded.

As soon as Cevin confessed, Bu Tina Kartini immediately nagged at length and with a fiery tone as well.

It starts by saying Cevin doesn't appreciate the lessons he's given, and it leads to the fact that Cevin is a model of the younger generation that does not appreciate the values of the struggle of the heroes and the meaning of independence for a nation.

Cevin just found out, as well as Balqis and the rest of the class that followed the course of the events Bu Tina Kartini nagged it very carefully, that not carrying the book Citizenship Education turned out to be a form of betrayal of the struggle of the heroes who were willing to die for the Independence of the Indonesian State.

In conclusion, not bringing printed books during Citizenship Education classes is a very serious form of crime, and if only there was a law, Cevin might have gone to prison.

After nagging at such length, it was still not enough. Ms. Tina Kartini then ordered Cevin to leave the classroom.

Balqis. He was about to open his mouth, would admit he was the one who did not bring the book. But Cevin immediately reached out. The touch of Balqis' right hand, which was on his lap, then squeezed for a moment and quietly, hinted not to say anything.

Then Cevin got up and walked outside the classroom, accompanied by Balqis guilty look and envious look of guys in the back row. It's so exciting that Cevin, he's not learning. Cheating the child, no rhyming.

The Citizenship Education lesson ended coinciding with the second break. As soon as Bu Tina Kartini left the classroom, Balqis immediately ran towards the canteen. Exact guess. Cevin was there. The man greeted the hasty arrival of Balqis with a smile. The smile that looked was still a bit clumsy, because this was the first time Balqis approached him without cold looks, frowning, anger or other unpleasant expressions.

"I'm sorry about that? Really sorry. I should have done it." said Balqis as soon as I got in front of Cevin. "Trus, you're hanging out alone here for two hours of lessons, huh? Especially when the Headmaster passed by. Trus, you're bumping right away, right?" shout Balqis instantly.

"It's no use. No reports, what? I got kicked out of the gini class" said Cevin, hearing that Balqis was getting more guilty. "Somay's pay is my drink. Let's not look like you're feeling very guelty." Cevin said with a smile.

"okay!" Balqis nodded immediately. He smiled and turned back. Soon he returned with a plate of somay and a glass of mineral water. "Now!" He thrust a piece of pea into Cevin's face. "Make a fad while I eat." Balqis' words left Cevin dumbfounded. How coincidental! Cevin was also thinking of an excuse to accompany Balqis to a meal.

"We are bego? How could not be aware that Kiki is probably the only High School child in all of Indonesia whose books are covered with chocolate," said Cevin while opening a plastic wrapping of peanuts.

Hearing that, Balqis voided the piece of somay into her mouth. He nodded strongly.

"Yes emang. It's all because of Kiki!" Balqis Reply.

The two then drowned in the chatter without a partition. First time around without a fight. First time eating in the cafeteria. And first time feeling close to each other.
