Yesterday, the delivery room where we stayed was filled with people full of dreams, optimism, and hope, now all there is is is frustration and despair. But I don't want to give up, I still invite fetal chat in my stomach and ask the baby to stay strong.
"Son, you feel right inside? come on out, mama and papa want to see you ... " I said.
Then Sister Anta who also somehow has her own belief in the two of us also began to join; "Honey, papa want to see the face of Rania, must be beautiful like mama. Come on boy, you're out, so mommy's happy and can rest.
Both I, Brother Anta and our future son are both formidable fighters. And both must believe that we will succeed.
At about 8 a.m., the doctor immediately checked my pregnancy condition and gave the medicine to our baby's lungs, inexplicably with his lungs.
"Good morning, sir, Mom." Greet the beautiful doctor I found out that he was a fellow doctor Rani. "I'm allowed to check, mom and baby first?"
She started sticking a stethoscope in my chest to check my heartbeat. Then followed another tool to hear the condition of my baby.
"After taking the medicine, I asked Mr. Anta Reza to my room, could you?" said again.
"Can dock," replied Anta quickly.
Then after Anta helped me take medicine, which she said was for the lungs, Rania. Sister Anta remembered to go to the doctor's room, fulfilling her call.
It was finally agreed that I would be operated on at 5pm while being monitored for the progress of her pregnancy. An hour later, the nurse came into the room and checked me and our baby. According to him, the baby's heart rate is too fast (about 177 beats/minute). After reporting this condition to the doctor, I felt that they needed surgery as soon as possible. At noon, I entered the surgical room.
While Kak Anta was endlessly grasping my hand, although various medical devices began to stick. And Sister Anta who never ceases to recite prayers in my ears, her red eyes glazed over. while I still struggle between life and death.
"Dear hold on, please. I'm sure you're a strong woman, you should be safe, Rania and I need you too." Said.
He whispered in my ear, as if I was going to die right then and there. Indeed, I was also afraid to be honest.
At 12:30, the big day finally arrived. The happiness I felt was indescribable when I found out how beautiful and tiny creatures whose presence we looked forward to and kept for nine months. The first time I heard her crying, my tears were shed as a result of being moved and happy. While Kak Anta immediately sat limp on the floor crying, the doctor immediately called him to see our very beautiful baby.
Sister Anta rushed to meet me who was still lying weak in the surgical room. Without further ado, she clasped my hand and whispered, "Our baby has been born. Rania is very beautiful, born with a weight of 3.2 kilograms and a length of 48 centimeters." Said Sister Anta again in my ear, but I was unable to respond to anything.just tears and smiles, instantly I can catch the calmness and happiness in my eyes. That day we were both overwhelmed by happiness.
Our little princess's name is Rania Ananta Flower.
I see, Brother Anta who gave him his full name.he had indeed prepared this name from a long time ago. "Flower: it's beautiful, Rania it's: Reza and Grace, while Ananta : Son of Anta." He confirmed it at that time.
The last thing I know is that our baby was taken care of in an incubator. The nurse said, if the next day her condition improves, Rania will be taken to the room to see me, her mother.
That day, we received many congratulations and prayers for the Little One, including from an excited father. Although unfortunately, he was not able to visit as soon as possible because of one thing or another. Also the support of Rambo who can not be present now, because it is still working, and Doctor Rani who always faithfully waiting.
I lost consciousness for a moment...
The next day, the long-awaited moment arrived. Little Rania can finally meet me, her mother. A very moving moment at the same time happy. Our daughter seemed to give more strength to me who was lying weak post-surgery. So even with me who was full of enthusiasm can sit and joke with our daughter, after previously only lying weak.
Meanwhile, Kak Anta is unrelenting to thank me and give appreciation to me through crying and soft physical touch.
"Rania, it's mama son." I said full of haru, "True your papa, if you are indeed very beautiful."
My recovery time in the hospital was very difficult. I could only lie weakly in bed while enduring the pain of surgery in the womb. Every now and then the nurses came in to check on me, including my blood pressure, intravenous fluids, and urine sacs (i urinated through a catheter tube connected to the urine sac. Urine will be removed whenever the sac is full).
I also felt pain every time the nurse injected antibiotics into the vein through an infusion tube. It was painful and aching to my surprise that I might have been pricked by an intravenous needle for too long, my arm was swollen, and the nurse was forced to move the infusion line to the other arm. Once again, a tremendous amount of patience and toughness is shown and felt by a mother. Every night, Kak Anta always stay at the hospital as well as doctors Rani and Rambo while looking after me and baby Rania.
Tonight Rambo came, brought souvenirs and cried as usual,
"Where is my niece!---" He whimpers and tears.
"Don't yell!" replied Brother Anta while covering her mouth with an index finger. "Later Rania wakes up."
Then Rambo reflexively covered his mouth, though still glazed over; "Oh, sorry. I am really moved. I ended up being an uncle, and my stiff best friend Anta Reza could be a father. It was a very moving moment and I was very touched. Considering Anta Reza is no ordinary man, he's a special man."
I smiled, I could clearly understand the meaning of Rambo's words. It is natural that he always has excessive expression for all things related to Kak Anta, his best friend. Because friends more than ten years, of course already know the ins and outs of the way his friend's life.
I still can't answer someone else's words, I can only smile. While I could see Sister Anta getting up from her seat and walking closer to Rambo.
I thought he would get angry, but another reaction came from Kak Anta, he approached Rambo and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you" he said. "Thank you for being here."
Rambo also reciprocated Kak Anta's embrace, by raising his hands exactly equivalent to Kak Anta's back, then in his gentle rub.
"Congratulations, you're officially a father. Be a good parent to your child" Rambo said.
And I was moved too ....
