Against the Werewolf, the First Monster inside the Labyrinth

"Werewolf" said Julian who knew the monster in front of him.

Appearing a few Werewolves in front, they were wolf monsters that stood and walked like humans using two legs, besides it was no different from ordinary wolves.

"Romar!!" all the Werewolves roared loudly as they saw there was prey in front.

"You know the Werewolf's weakness, don't you?" ask Julian.

"Yes! Neck!" yell at the three of them.

Nimi entered into his shadow Mine and Mine ran forward while throwing some throwing knives to outwit the Werewolf.

The werewolves swung their hands to shake off the Mine's knife-throw. But Mine had already reached in front of them and stabbed one of the Werewolves in the neck to make up for it.

Nimi came out of the shadow of Mine, he went behind one of the Werewolves and stabbed his neck from behind until it broke just as Mine did.

Claire, who had prepared, fired a fire bullet and the Werewolf fell in several shots because Claire missed a little due to lack of lighting.

Julian also killed several Werewolves casually, he hit the Werewolf's stomach, held his head, and pierced his neck with sharp nails.

About 10 werewolves were killed in just a few seconds. Werewolves were indeed weak monsters, and they were strong only when gathered with the other Werewolves.

"The Werewolf's body doesn't have much use, so just let it go, don't take it" Julian said, throwing Werewolf's body in his hand.

"Good!" the three of them nodded.

Then, the four of them immediately continued their search but there was something strange, it had been 10 minutes they walked but not a single monster was seen.

It was of course very strange because the labyrinth was a place where it contained very many dead monsters and monsters would be re-formed.

"Ah, there might be a powerful monster here," Julian thought.

He detected the flow of mana and saw that he had a branching path ahead of him, he just needed to turn to the right. However he frowned because the mana flow on the left side was unusual.

"The path to the second floor is on the right side, but we're going to the left side first because there's an unusual flow of mana there," julian said, then he walked to the left side.

"Good, Master!" the three of them nodded and followed Julian.

Julian felt that on the left side of the forked road in front of him there was a powerful monster because from earlier they had not found any monsters except the monsters at the entrance.

Although he did not know why the strong monster was silent in that place and did not attack the four of them which could be said that the four of them were intruders for having entered the dungeon where they lived.

The four of them walked and found that the hallway they passed through was a lighting in the form of a small shining crystal attached to the cave wall.

"Master, I heard a voice from the front," Nimi said, pointing forward with her index finger.

Julian nodded and said, "Good. Let's walk in secret."

The three of them nodded then slowed their way. After a while, the voice became clearer.

"!!" the four of them widened their eyes as they saw that there were countless Werewolves in the room in front of them.

"We don't see any monsters along the way. It turns out that they're gathering here" Claire said in a serious tone.

"Yes, you're right" Julian nodded while looking at where the leader was.

"Oh, you see that four-armed werewolf over there? That monster is the other Werewolf leader." Julian pointed in a direction.

The three of them followed the direction pointed by Julian and saw that there was indeed a four-armed Werewolf who was sitting lazily.

"Wait a minute, I need to observe why they are gathered here. There must be a reason why the Werewolf Leader collected another Werewolf" Julian said.

The three of them nodded and waited for a while. Just like their master had said that there would definitely be a reason why monsters gathered in one place.

"Hm, I didn't find any weirdness there. But I have an assumption that they are gathered because they will attack something" said Julian, who was disappointed to find no strangeness there.

"yes too. But who are they going to fight with?" claire asked as she touched her chin.

"Are there other monsters on the first floor? But it doesn't seem like it's because we don't see it" Nimi said.

"Then what if they were going to fight against the monsters that were on the second floor?" said Mine who made the others aware.

Yeah, how could they forget it. The monsters could go to the other floor and it could be that the Werewolves would fight with the monsters on the second floor.

Usually monsters do not leave the floor they occupy because the deeper the floor, then the monsters that occupy will be stronger.

But that did not rule out the possibility that the Werewolves would attack the monsters on the second floor. The number of Werewolves in front of them was also overwhelming plus they had leaders.

"Because that's the case, then we just ignore them. There's no point in us fighting them, our goal is to save someone on the deepest floor and we can't use force in vain" Julian said.

"Good." The three of them nodded in agreement with Julian.

If this was the usual labyrinth attack, Julian would have attacked the Werewolf without hesitation. But now their task has been determined to save Gydhea's followers.

They then went to the second floor. The connecting between floors in the labyrinth is usually a ladder or downhill road.

They found a ladder on the right side of the forked road and then they went down. This flow of mana on the second floor was stronger compared to the first floor.

And they immediately met a tall monster. Julian did not know if this labyrinth had any characteristics because the monsters on the first floor with the monsters on the second floor were of different types.

The monster on the first floor is a wolf that uses two legs, the Werewolf. The monster on the second floor was a large gorilla but had four legs and two hands.

The structure of the gorilla monster in front was like a Centaur. Stand on four legs and have two large, strong hands.

"Any," said Julian who was approved by the three of them.

Since there was only one gorilla monster, Julian did not transform into a dinosaur. He will only fight with his human form.

Mine enters Julian's running shadow and is followed by Mine. Suddenly Julian turned around then fused his palms together and looked towards Mine.

Mine nodded and ran faster then he stepped on Julian's palm. Julian raised his palm firmly which made Mine slide swiftly towards the gorilla monster.

"Geargh!!" The gorilla monster smacked his chest furiously as he saw that there was a small creature that dared to attack him.

The gorilla monster was about three meters tall and about five meters long. It is natural to think that humans are small creatures.

As usual, Mine throws a few knives to outwit the enemy. The gorilla monster swung its right hand against Mine's knife throw.

But Mine was already right in front of him and hugged the head of the gorilla monster. Then when the gorilla monster had yet to react, Mine pierced the left eye of the gorilla monster which made him scream in pain.

The gorilla monster used its two hands to get rid of the Mine that was hugging its head. But Mine immediately let go of his embrace and sat on the back of the gorilla monster.

Simultaneously, Julian had already come and struck the knee of one of the gorilla monster's legs with a claw strike that made the gorilla monster lose its balance.

Mine comes out of Julian's shadow and attacks the legs of another gorilla monster. After that the three of them retreated to keep their distance because Claire was shooting out some fire bullets that could explode.

"Geargh!!!" yelled the gorilla monster with pain.
