Fighting Strong Monsters Inside the Labyrinth

The next day, Julian decided to go to the labyrinth during the day because he wanted to learn magic as well and last night he didn't have time to learn it.

Then when it was noon, the two of them went to the labyrinth after lunch using a horse carriage used by the public.

"Millions of Caterpillars! We're there!" Shouted the horseman.

Julian and Claire get off the horse-drawn carriage and pay the cost of her trip. Then they walked towards the Maze of Caterpillars.

"!!" Julian widened his eyes and turned to the sky.

Because with his enhanced senses he sensed that something dangerous had appeared above the sky.

And sure enough, a black vortex appeared in the sky and gave off a gripping aura that made the people here panic.

"My nails..." There was a laugh from inside the vortex.

Then four black hands appeared that had very sharp nails and slowly looked like a monster.

The monster has a disgusting form. His body was a large octopus but his tentacles were replaced with human hands.

Even Julian felt nausea in his stomach when he saw the shape of the disgusting monster. Julian immediately checked with appraisal.

Then the ground suddenly shook and a dazzling light appeared that made everyone close their eyes.

After a while, the light dimmed slowly and disappeared. However, the people who were there did not exist.

"Where is this?" Julian opened his eyes and saw that it was a stone.

He sat down and saw that Claire was next to him. He woke Claire and looked around her like a cave.

"Master? Where are we?" Claire wakes up and asks Julian.

"Welcome to humans! This is the Maze of Caterpillars that I've changed! There's gonna be another monster in here that's gonna attack you."

"I've closed all access exits. So you will be stuck here and will be an offering to the demon lord!"

"Believe it! My nails!" That demonic voice sounded throughout the labyrinth.

"You hear that? We are now in the changed Maze of Caterpillars." Julian narrowed his eyes.

"Then what should we do now, Master?" Claire looked worried.

"Don't worry, we'll find a way out. There are also city troops and there are princes here too, so someone else should be safe." Julian stood up and patted the dust on his clothes.

"Prince!?" Claire nampan surprised.

"Ah, don't think about it." Julian told Claire not to think about it.

Moreover, dinosaur eyes can detect heat from the body of living things, so this is very useful if there are enemies who approach without sound.

Julian then approached the room in front of him silently while Claire remained in place because Julian was worried if there was a powerful monster.

Inside the room was one monster that had a humanoid body. His body is very sturdy and has a height of about 3 meters.

Julian walked while changing his body, his legs enlarged and changed his shape into dinosaur legs.

His hands were also enlarged but not as big as his legs, his body leaned slightly forward then he grew a heavy tail from his backbone.

Julian is currently transformed into Allosaurus, a dinosaur similar to Tyrannosaurus but much smaller.

However, Allosaurus is one of the most powerful predators and feared by other dinosaurs because of its Tyrannosaurus-like nature.

"The monster?" Claire looks surprised by Julian who transformed into Allosaurus.

"?" Dismal Monster looked back and saw there was a strange creature that he had never seen.

"Roar!!!" Julian roared loudly.

He ran towards Dismal Monster. As the two of them were close together, Julian stopped and swung his tail to sweep over the Dismal Monster.

That's because the tail of Allosaurus is very heavy and can be likened to being hit by a truck when exposed to the sweep of its tail.

Julian chased after the Dismal Monster which crashed far away then he bit his head. However Dismal Monster reacted quickly and Julian slightly missed.

However, Dismal Monster lost his left arm as a result of Julian's bite which tore his arm directly.

Even the Dismal Monster did not feel that his arm was detached and he suddenly felt severe pain.

"Geargh!!" Dismal Monsters looked frightened at this moment in contrast to the previous one who looked arrogant.

"Heh, in the end the strong win!" Julian didn't care about the frightened Dismal Monster.

He attacked Dismal Monster with his tail again until it made the cave wall collapse because Dismal Monster hit him very hard.

Then Julian bit the Dismal Monster's head and this time the Dismal Monster did not have time to dodge or rather could not.

The Dismal Monster's head was cut off from his body and released an awful lot of green-colored blood that looked disgusting.

Julian spewed out the Dismal Monster's head and roared loudly the sign that he had won the fight.

Then he changed his form again into a human and walked up to Claire who was still surprised.

"Hey, I know you're surprised but the fight's over. Let's go." Julian.

"Ah? Master, was that your strength?" Claire tilted her head.

"Yes, a power that can turn me into a monster. But take it easy, only my body changes, my mind won't be a crazy monster." Julian nodded and told him.

"Thank God..." Claire heaves a sigh of relief as she fears that Julian will turn into a real monster.

"Then let's go." Julian walked towards the road that was on the other side.

"Wait a minute, Master." Claire stopped Julian.

Julian stopped and turned to look at Claire who was approaching the body of the Dismal Monster and looked for something with the knife he was carrying.

"What are you doing?" Julian was confused by Claire's actions.

"Um, there's a core inside the demon monster's body, and it can be sold to sellers or used by witches. Ah, here it is!" Claire took out a ball the size of a purple palm.

"Mindy, please explain." Julian is a little interested in the core.
