Julian grew Jeholornis wings on his back which left the two people shocked and their attacks missed.
Julian retracted his wings then he hit the person in his right quickly until the person had to take a few steps back.
Then he held and pulled the spear held by the man on the left and hit the man on the stomach.
"Stop if you don't want your friend to die." Julian grabbed the guy by the neck and threatened the other guy.
"...cherry." The person in front of Julian clicked his tongue and threw out the spear he was holding.
"Good." Julian nodded.
Claire and the two demi-humans came towards Julian because they had been waiting for Julian for a long time but he did not return.
Therefore the three of them decided to look for Julian and the moment they heard the sound, they went straight this way.
"The right time. Nimi, Mine, hold the person in front of me. Claire, make lighting." Julian gave them orders.
"Ready!" Nimi and Mine moved and held the arm of the person in front of Julian tight.
Then Claire took out her magic staff and made a light ball that illuminated where they stood.
"!!" Claire and the two demi-humans widened their eyes upon finding out who the two people were.
"I thought so." Julian smiled
Those two are demi-humans. They were two bare-chested men with large green tails behind them.
Then, in some parts of their bodies such as the hands, neck, and legs there are scales in the same green color as their tails.
"For the sake of lizards" said Julian.
He knew because their tails were both as big as the lizards he had seen on earth while the tails of snakes tended to be smaller yet longer.
"...Right."." Right." The two demi-humans nodded.
"Why did you attack me?" Julian asked in a cold tone.
"I'm sorry, we're in trouble." One of the demi-humans lowered his head.
Julian could feel that the demi-humans in front of him were not lying, he then took off the demi-humans he held and asked Nimi and Mine to release the other one as well.
"My name is Gael, I'm the captain of our tribe's guard. I along with my subordinates went out of the forest in search of food."
"The place where our tribe lives is already short of food while our tribe members there are very many."
"Therefore despite not wanting to, we decided to attack you in order to get food." Demi-humans named Gael say the reason why they both attacked Julian.
"Can I believe your words?" Julian narrowed his eyes and let out a dangerous aura to suppress the two of them.
"!!" Gael and his subordinates instantly kneeled on the ground after sensing the dangerous aura that Julian unleashed.
They were demi-humans moreover they had lived within the forest for a very long time, therefore they were very sensitive with aura even if it was small.
"I swear on my name, if I lie then you can kill me." Gael said seriously while refraining from fainting.
"I'll hold your word." Julian nodded and retracted his dangerous aura.
Gael and his subordinates still lowered their heads and waited for Julian to say something. As for Julian, he was touching his chin and thinking whether he would help Gael or not.
"Claire, Nimi, Mine, have you ever seen a demi-human lizard?" ask Julian.
"I've never." Claire shook her head.
"Although we are demi-humans, you have also never seen any other demi-humans besides cats and dogs." Nimi and Mine also shook their heads.
"Then, is it okay if our trip to the City of Cronna is delayed for a while?" Julian asked again.
"All right." Julian nodded then he turned his head towards Gael and his subordinates.
"I've decided, I'll help you, no, your tribe. Now, lead the way so that our horse-drawn carriage can enter the place where your tribe lives." Julian idolized with a serious tone.
Julian did feel sorry for the two of them, but what made him decide to help them was that he was also curious about the demi-human lizard.
Because in the story or fantasy comics on earth, it is very rare for a human-looking lizard. Most are lizards that stand on two legs and speak human language.
Hence Julian left to help them, after all, there was no harm in helping someone who was in trouble.
"Thank you, Mister!" Gael and his subordinates widened their eyes and immediately thanked Julian.
"Yes" Julian nodded.
Julian and the others then returned to their chariot and Gael and his subordinates directly led them to the right path.
It turned out that there was a hidden path nearby, Gael and his subordinates moved some tree trunks to open the path.
Gael nodded his head in a sign that it was the road to the place where his tribe lived. Julian gave a nod as well then drove his carriage through the road.
After that, Gael and his subordinates again closed the road with the tree trunk earlier with some wild plants to be the same as the surrounding environment.
After a while of driving, they arrived at a very large open area. Where the area is a meadow and swamp.
"Welcome to the village where our tribe lives, sir." Gael welcomes them.
"So this," said Julian.
Julian parked his horse carriage near the village entrance then he was with Claire and the two demi-humans walked up to Gael.
Gael would take them to the village chief's house and along the way, the other demi-human lizards looked at the four of them with curious gazes.
"This is the village chief's house." Gael knocked on the door of the house and after a voice from inside invited him in, Gael opened the door.
The five of them entered the village chief's house and inside was a muscular man whose body was mostly covered by scales.
Then there was a different demi-human lizard, the man in front of them had a small horn the size of a little finger on his right forehead.
"Gael's? Who're they?" The muscular man narrowed his eyes.
"The village chief, the four of them are the people I met near the entrance. After hearing our situation, they came to help." Gael explains the arrival of Julian and the others.
"really!? Thank you all! My name is Dace, I'm the head of the village." Dace extended his hand.
"I'm Julian, it's Claire, Nimi, and Mine." Julian shakes hands with Dace and introduces himself as well as Claire and the two demi-humans.
"Hello Mr Julian, are you really going to help our village?" Dace asked in a hopeful tone.
"Yes, it just so happens that we never see demi-human lizards and are curious about you guys." Julian nodded and smiled.
"Thank you very much!" Dace bent his body.
"Save your gratitude later. Now, please explain what difficulties you're going through." Julian said seriously.
"Good! First of all, please sit down first." Dace invited Julian and the others to sit down and blinked his eyes at Gael.
Gael immediately understood it, he went to the kitchen to prepare a drink for Julian and the others.
Julian nodded and sat down in the living room chair while Claire and the second demi-human remained standing behind Julian.
At first Dace was a little confused as to why the three of them were standing but he understood after seeing the necklace worn by Claire was a slave necklace.
Dace put the matter aside, he sat down in the chair opposite Julian and began to talk about the difficulties they were going through right now.
