Gero's right hand man, the captain of the scout troop, Kody

"Hey, wake up." Julian slapped Kody's cheek lightly to make him wake up from his stupor.

After returning to Zain's house, he immediately brought Kody into the room and now he intends to interrogate Kody.

"Uhhh.." Because of Julian's slap, Kody slowly began to wake up.

"Damn!" Kody immediately shouted as he looked at Julian's face in front of him. Then opened his mouth wide and planned to bite the poison tucked between his teeth.

"I won't let you die so easily." Julian held Kody's mouth and took out the poison that was inside.

"Kill me! I won't tell any information to all of you!" kody shouted desperately as he could do nothing now.

Karina who had been silent would not want to be a little annoyed with Kody. He approaches Kody and prepares to hit him, but he is stopped by Julian.

"Sunday, relax. The punch won't be able to make him say information. I know a better way to get him to talk" Julian said, showing an evil grin on his face.

Karina who heard that became interested, "Tell me! I'll make sure that he'll tell you all the information he's got."

Julian laughed, he immediately said, "It's easy. You're good at using lightning elements, aren't you? Throw lightning on a small scale into his brain. You must know that the brain and heart are vulnerable organs."

Karina's eyes twinkled after hearing Julian's words. He looked at Kody while laughing wickedly, then he held Kody's head with both hands and poured streams of lightning into his brain.

"No! Don't de-argh!!!" Kody could not finish her speech because Karina had already sent streams of lightning to her brain.

Zain who saw that was astonished, "Julian, if Karina were to be friends with you she might just be a bad person."

Of course what Zain said was a joke, he just thought that he had never seen Karina behave that freely before meeting Julian.

After a few seconds, Karina stopped her actions as it would endanger Kody's life if it continued.

And the appearance of Kody who was a thick short hair has now become bald because of the Karina lightning flow that caused it to happen.

"Are you going to talk now?" julian asked in a cold tone.

"Don't hope!" yelled Kody who still insisted on not speaking anything.

"Hm." Julian grew sharp claws and then he scratched Kody's skin until it spilled a lot of blood.

Then under the shocked eyes of Karina and the others, Julian took out a bag of salt from the inventory and sprinkled the salt over the wounds on Kody's body.

A salt solution allows to heal skin wounds but not with direct salt. Salt will make the wound feel very sore and hot like burning.

Salt can also stimulate nerve endings in injured skin. When salt is exposed to a wound, it can trigger a pain response because the sensitive nerve endings in the skin send signals to the brain that there is damage or irritation to the tissue.

"Damn it!!" kody's movements in horror due to the wounds on his body were numerous and it could be imagined how painful it would be if all the wounds were sprinkled with salt.

Ignoring Kody's scream, Julian took a handful of salt and sprinkled it over the wounds on Kody's body.

"Aghar!!!" Kody shouted extremely loudly as his entire body felt an immense pain.

Then Julian used water magic to clean the salt in Kody's wounds which made Kody stop screaming.

But that doesn't mean Julian forgave Kody. He sprinkled salt over Kody's wounds again and after a while, he used water magic to clean them up.

He does this for a while which makes Karina and the others look at Julian like he is looking at a cruel demon.

"Pardon me, I'll say it" Kody said in a weak tone as he had run out of strength to speak.

"Good, why didn't you do it earlier? Claire, heal this guy, heal some wounds, not all" Julian said.

"First, what's your name and where are you from?" Julian asked Kody the first question.

Kody heaved a sigh of relief as he was healed, "Right hand Mr. Gero, the captain of the scout troop, Kody. I am the subordinate of Master Gero who currently serves as the subordinate of the demon general Quella."

Julian frowned when he heard the name he hated, "Quella? That troublesome woman?"

"Julian, have you ever met Quella?" zain asked very seriously as he also knew how powerful Quella was with her magic item.

Karina immediately explained, "Ah, grandfather must not know because the King did not spread this news. Julian had met three demon generals. Orobas had already killed him, Alastor nearly died fighting against him and Mr. Oleus, but was saved by Quella."

"What!?" Zain widened his eyes in shock at the information.

Julian nodded then asked the second question, "The second question, why are you here?"

"I was ordered by Mr. Gero to keep an eye on Zain and report on him every one week" Kody replied, closing his eyes at his resignation.

Julian touched his chin, "How do you give Gero a report?"

"A few miles from here, there's an empty place. There is an old house that is actually an arrangement of magic circles for communication" replied Kody.

"intriguing. The third question, was it Gero who created the barrier in Grandpa Zain's heart?" Julian asked the third question.

Kody nodded and said, "Yes, that's right. That black fog was controlled by Mr. Gero to create a barrier in Zain's heart."

Zain who heard the truth about the person who created the barrier in his heart was his former best friend could only fall silent.

He wants to be angry but cannot because he still remembers things in the past when he, his wife, and Gero were young and still friendly in harmony.

"Last question, where is Gero's current location?" Julian asked the fourth question which was the last question.

Kody opened his mouth intending to answer, but suddenly his head began to swell and he did not know what was going on.

"Ck, fuck. Fortunately, I have asked you what you need to ask." Julian clicked his tongue.

He held onto Kody's clothes and threw her out of the house very tightly through the bedroom window. Then after a while, they saw that Kody's body was swelling very large and exploding.

"There's only one more question left!" karina shouted furiously.

"Well, don't worry. Claire, can you cook us something? It's time for lunch" Julian said.

"Send it to me! Master wants to eat what?" ask Claire.

"Something that burns, today's weather is perfect for that. Ah but please make some meat soup for Grandpa Zain as well" Julian said as he removed the bear meat from the inventory.

"Ready!" Claire nodded while performing a military salute.

"We'll help!" Nimi and Mine brought the bear meat to the kitchen.

"Grandfather, we borrowed the kitchen" Claire said before she went to the kitchen to follow Nimi and Mine.

"I'll help too!!" Karina also went to the kitchen to help them.

The room became quiet because there was only Zain and Julian. Zain doesn't speak because his emotions are so complicated right now knowing that Gero is doing everything that happens to him.

Julian also did not speak as he knew with Zain's current state of mind. He simply took the book out of the inventory and read it carefully.
