"Your grandfather hasn't been treated?" julian asked while frowning.

"Yes," nods Karina sadly.

If totaled, it has been four more days Julian left. But Karina's grandfather has not been treated because they are still researching the cure.

If it continues like this, maybe Karina will not follow Julian on an adventure because Karina will definitely not calm down leaving her ailing grandfather while she is adventuring.

Claire raised her hand and asked, "Does it still take a long time?"

Karina shook her head, "I don't know for sure."

"Come to your grandfather's place, I'll check it out myself. Chances are small but who knows I can find out the illness suffered by your grandfather," said Julian.

Karine thought for a while then nodded, "Alright, I think it was a good decision."

Karina's grandfather's place was two days away from Crosa City, but it would be a waste of time if they went there by horse carriage.

So Karina talks to her father and Hadden tells them to talk to Oleus because Oleus can open the teleportation gate to where Karina's grandfather is.

Julian could open the teleportation gate but he didn't know the place. The user must go to the intended place first before using the teleportation gate.

They immediately went to the palace and talked to Oleus. Oleus happily opened the teleportation gate and they all entered into it.

"Hm, a village that is a little remote yes," said Julian while seeing that in front of him there is a village with a relatively small size.

"Yes, this village is receiving help from my family. So grandfather can be placed here safely and the environment here is also good for health" Karina nods.

Julian and the others immediately walked towards the village gate and were greeted enthusiastically by the guards as they got to know Karina, Hadden and Marie's only daughter.

Karina walked into the house without knocking on the door and walked into the room on the first floor. Then Julian and the others saw that there was an old man lying on the bed.

The old man was Zain, Karina's grandfather. His appearance was like an ordinary old man with short gray hair, yet his body was not like a grandfather as his body was full of muscles.

Zain was currently closing his eyes, but when they all came, he opened his eyes and was surprised to see Karina in front of him.

He immediately said, "My granddaughter, why are you here?"

After saying that, Zain intended to sit down but was stopped by Karina.

"Don't move much, Grandpa. I'm here with my friends" Karina said, introducing Julian and the others to Zain.

"Oh? You have friends? Hohoho!" Zain laughed loudly.

"Grandfather!!" shouted Karina timidly.

Zain laughed, then he looked towards Julian who was standing beside Karina, "But, you're Julian who gave the Heart Sea Serpent to Karina right?"

Julian nodded and said politely, "Yes, it's me, sir."

Zain frowned slightly and spoke in a dissatisfied tone, "Sir what, call me grandfather. You three are too."

"Grandfather!!" Claire, Nimi, and Mine called out simultaneously which made Zain laugh with satisfaction.

Julian was stunned as the three of them easily directly called out to Zain 'grandfather'. He could only shake his head and call out 'grandfather' as well.

"Good, I'm satisfied with that. Then, you must have come here not just for me, right?" zain said with a smile.

"Grandfather, look..." Karina explained the arrival of Julian and the others.

Zain raised his eyebrows and said, "Torturing me? Son, you're overconfident, but I like that. Please, check this out."

"Excuse me." Julian held Zain's hand and checked his pulse while using appraisal.

"Hm, the one inside the brackets signifies Grandpa Zain's healthy body. Amazing, his body was still very strong even if Grandpa Zain was old," thought Julian who was a little surprised by the appraisal result.

"Grandfather, Karina has said that Grandpa's body is very fragile" said Julian.

Zain let out a long breath, "That's how. If likened, my body is currently like a glass glass that has been cracked. Just waiting for time to break."

Beside her, Karina stood still while wiping her tears as she was very sad about Zain's condition. Even Claire, Nimi, and Mine who had just met Zain felt sad.

"Does grandpa know which part hurts the most? or the most fragile?" ask Julian.

As Claire provided Zain's medical data, Julian frowned at not finding anything suspicious. In the medical data only mentioned that Zain has a very fragile body.

Without a second thought, Zain immediately replied, "Heart. Although I didn't feel any pain, I knew that this area was the most fragile."

Zain spoke while holding onto his left chest with a haggard facial expression and exhaled a long breath.

"Appraisal part of the heart," inner Julian.

Then when the appraisal results appeared, how shocked Julian was when he read it. Karina who saw something wrong with Julian's expression immediately asked.

"What's wrong? Is there something?" ask Karina.

"I think I know why the experts didn't find the source of the disease" Julian said, seriously to Zain's surprise.

"Grandfather, relax!" Karina calmed the overzealous Zain.

Zain gasped and tried to calm down. Then after a few minutes of deep breathing, he finally calmed down.

"I still don't know what kind of illness Grandpa Zain has, but I do know why experts can't find the source of his illness."

"The source of the disease is from the heart, but somehow Grandpa Zain's heart has a barrier that makes it an illusion as if his heart is fine even though the condition is very severe."

"Grandfather Zain's heart was currently exposed to a corrosive poison that was eating away at the entire heart. Because of this, the blood flow pumped by the heart is also affected."

Julian explained Zain's heart condition to them according to the appraisal results. That's why Julian was so shocked earlier because Zain's heart had a barrier.

Zain frowned, trying to find a disease that fit Julian's description in his brain but he never found it.

"The heart is parasitic" Claire said suddenly.

Karina widened her eyes and immediately asked, "Claire, do you know this disease!?"

"I knew it clearly in my brain. This disease is a disease that eats away at the lives of the slaves I came from," Claire nods seriously.

"It seems we still have hope. Do you know how to cure it?" ask Julian calmly.

Claire nodded, "Yes. We can use the Heart Sea Serpent benefits. We'll dissolve the Sea Serpent's heart until it becomes liquid, and then put that fluid into Grandpa Zain's heart."

Then he added, "But the slaves who suffered from parasitic hearts in my place don't have a barrier in their hearts."

"That means we're good at solving this barrier problem huh. But first, let's turn the Heart Sea Serpent into a liquid according to what Claire said first" Julian said.

"I'm afraid that if we break the barrier in Grandpa Zain's heart, his illness will only get worse" he added.

They all nodded. Karina takes Claire to the experts who are making medicines on the other side of the village and says her goal.

The experts who heard about it immediately realized, they also knew what parasitic heart disease was but they didn't know it because there was a barrier in Zain's heart.

Experts immediately turned the Sea Serpent Heart into liquid and it was expected to take a full day to turn it into liquid.
