Fighting with the Devils that came out of the Demon Gate

Although Hadden and the other soldiers were shocked, they knew the priority right now was to defeat the demons that came out of the Demon Gate.

The demon that came out was not a strong demon, but rather a demon that was quite weak. But the numbers are so many that make them a little difficult.

Moreover, these demons had diverse appearances. Some have four legs, two wings, three eyes, no eyes, a tail, and many other strange appearances.

Hadden instantly swung his greatsword horizontally forward using his lightning power that was different from Karina who was in gold, Hadden's lightning was light blue.

A single swing of Hadden's sword instantly killed dozens of demons. It might be more if there were more demons that were near Hadden.

Karina also did not want to lose to her father. It shot out a huge golden-coloured ball of lightning and made a fierce explosion as it charged towards the demon in front of it.

The other soldiers also killed demons easily because they worked together to be faster and also more efficient compared to killing themselves.

"Roar!!!" Julian roared loudly before he ran towards the demons.

Julian directly hit the demon in front of him without thinking about what he hit. Then he used his tail to sweep the demon beside him.

Julian's attack was very heavy and instantly made the demons that were hit by his attack die because they were too weak and Julian was too strong.

"Fire Breath." Julian exhaled an extremely hot fire that burned the demon and the tree in front of him.

"Wind Blade." Julian moved his tail quickly and used wind magic to create countless sharp blades of wind that dismembered the demon in front of him.

The two magic spells used by Julian were simple magic spells but his strength was already at another level because he understood those magic spells to the point of being almost perfect.

Even a simple magic spell can be a very powerful weapon if the person using it understands the magic spell well.

"Julian! You're getting stronger!" karina cried with admiration because she could feel that Julian was more adept at using magic.

"of course. How can I not grow?" julian replied while biting the demon in front of him.

"I won't lose either! The Lightning Stream." Karina opened both her palms and launched streams of lightning towards the demons.

And the lightning strike this time continued to propagate towards the other demons in the surroundings quickly which made itself instantly kill dozens of demons with just a single magic spell.

"Hm? I never saw that magic spell. Did he learn another magic spell? Whatever it was, it was great because he learned a powerful magic spell," Hadden thought.

Hadden leapt up high while raising his greatsword with two hands. Then he drenched his greatsword with lightning and slammed it into the ground.

"Divine Lightning Strike." The attack instantly made a huge explosion that killed the hundreds of demons beneath it until it made a deep hole.

"Uncle! Aren't you the one who said not to smash around!" shouts Julian who was speechless with the impact of Hadden's attack.

"That's special to you, son. For me to freely want to do what," Hadden replied with a satisfied laugh.

"..." - ".Julian was too lazy to reply to Hadden.

"Ice Field." The blue ice under Julian's feet then spread to the surroundings which made the demons unable to move as half of their bodies were frozen.

"I borrowed your magic, Olivia. Ice Spear." Julian made countless ice spears and launched them towards the frozen demons.

But unlike Olivia's magic that only launched an ice spear, Julian could control his ice spear using mana after it was launched.

Julian's goal in doing so was because he was too lazy to make another ice spear after use. Therefore he thought of controlling the ice spear with mana and it worked because of which control Julian was already proficient at.

Almost half of the demons Julian killed made the soldiers look at Julian with a respectful and amazed look because he was so great at his young age.

Karina was also excited because Julian was getting stronger. He preferred someone who could control his strength to the maximum compared to a person who was only strong but could not control his strength.

Hadden raised his eyebrows in not expecting Julian to be too strong. He thought Julian was the most powerful young man he had ever seen.

"Lightning Serpent." Hadden stuck his greatsword into the ground then made countless snakes of lightning element that attacked the Devils around.

"Lightning Explosion." Karina threw a few small balls of lightning but when she touched the demon, the ball of lightning exploded violently.

After half an hour, the battle against the demons that came out of the Demon Gate was over. Although it could not be said to be a battle because the demons could not land an attack on them.

The Demon Gate was closed which made the number of demons decrease drastically. Hadden was the one who killed the last demon and shouted that the matter was over.

Hadden looked at the soldiers and saw that no one was hurt. It does exist, but it is just a scratch wound, not even categorized as a minor wound.

They then boarded the open carriage and returned to the city and Hadden would report this to Rolant.

"By the way, Dad, why is Dad there? Isn't the demon coming out very weak and you don't have to intervene?" asked the curious Karina.

Julian was also curious because he could see that Hadden could defeat all the demons that came out alone easily without the help of other warriors.

"Ah that. It was just a coincidence that Father and the other soldiers were training. Then I call you to have experience" replied Hadden.

They then chatted especially Hadden who asked Julian many questions just like Marie.

Julian also found out that Hadden was very kind and spoke easily which made him also able to answer his questions smoothly.

Even he thought that he was talking to his father-in-law because Hadden's attitude was too good to him that made Karina speechless.

They talked until they reached Cruya City. Hadden said goodbye because he was going to the palace and reported today's incident to Rolant.

Meanwhile, Julian and Karina return to her residence and enter her room again. Then Karina immediately asked what Julian meant by 'dying' earlier.

Julian explained it straight away because he did not expect that Karina would immediately ask after the two of them arrived.
