Outside, in the rain that began to flutter profusely, a horse neighed. Then there was the sound of running feet. And a voice from the darkness said, “Is there a shaman or a saint there!?”
I looked at Marbella in confusion. “No?” I replied, type 'no' which means “why are you asking?”
"What about the witch?" said that voice.
“No, no witch,” I replied again.
“Good.” There was another pause filled with rain.
“OK, vampire?”said that voice again.
“It's a wet night, of course vampires don't want to fly in this weather, do they? There's a vampire in there?” tone ensured.
“No!” Answer me once more.
“Yeah,” Marbella muttered, and started crawling down the chair towards the lookout room on the floor.
“It was a relief,” said the voice again. A second passed and a sword slipped between the two unlocked and pushed doors, and the voice said, “Money and your life. It's a two-for-one deal, okay?”
"Money's in the box upstairs," Marbella's voice came from the floor.
The man in medium stature looked around the dim room with the flame of a candle swaying in the wind.
“Who speaks?” She asked.
“Emm... I.” Fast Sahutku.
“I don't see your lips moving, Son!”
“Money is upstairs. But if I were you, I wouldn't– ”
"Huh, I just hope you won't do it," cut the robber.
His masked face disappeared and began to climb the stairs. I picked up the hollow bamboo lying on the chair. It's a type of flute with bamboo stems that are ivory.
"Play! "Hardening by force", Mars.” Marbella said slowly.
"Can't we give him the money?" My heart with a smile.
“The money is to be given to us," said Marbella firmly.
Upstairs, there was a sound like something was being dragged down. Marbella hit the floor with her hands, looking at me with orders. I obediently picked up the flute and played a few tones.
Now there are a number of voices from upstairs. There was a squeak, a thud, a sort of squealing sound and then the brief screams of the robber.
When there was silence from upstairs, I lowered the flute down the side of my right thigh and took a slow breath. Marbella got back up and sat down on the chair, sticking her head out looking up. “Poor man,” he said.
“Do you want to see Marbi?” My bargain.
“Good. Go ahead, I want to follow behind you. But be careful, huh? We don't want anyone to panic, do we?” Marbella started to squeeze my back and her hand grabbed my arm.
The robber reappeared in a dim light. He walked very slowly and carefully, his legs did not look fine with many bite marks and scratches, and it was also seen on most of his body and face which was now not covered in masks anymore, dozens of rodents were moving slowly inside the robbers' pants and clothes. The fishy smell of his blood bursting into my nose. And he secretly whimpered.
“Ah, see him!” Marbella exclaimed cheerfully.
The robber was shocked to find us. “You! Rotten witch.” His voice vibrates.
“What uncle of robbers have met our pet?” Marbella asked with a face made plain.
The robber nodded very slowly. Then his eyes narrowed. “You're a witch?” He muttered.
The man's face became empty and bowed.
“Ah, quick to learn, I love it from robbers,” Marbella said.
“What's your next plan, Uncle?” Marbella turned her eyes to the stairs.
“Kabur,” answered the robber with a hoarse voice.
Marbella poked her head up to the window. “What do you think?” she said. “This robber's uncle has two horses pulling his chariot, there may be some valuables in his bag and carriage..It could be, oh, a thousand Sickles or more.” Marbella guessed with a sparkling face and a small jump on her feet.
“Ingin check it?” Ask Marbella.
I looked back at the look of the man who was still grimacing holding onto his leg. The man snorted violently.
"It was stealing, Marbi," I said.
“Like it can not be said to steal, Mars.” replied Marbella lightly.
“This... find, the driver's run away, so like. Marbella walked as if thinking. Hey, that's right, we can hand it over as a gift. That's better. The villagers will also take sides. Can we?”
“People will ask too many questions,” I said by raising my shoulders.
"If so let's just let it go, just one man yelling at us thieves, that's also if he's able to scream," a sly smile graced Marbella's face.
“Isn't it much better if we accept it, eh? We are not thieves, OK!!” Marbella's voice rose to look at the robber uncle who looked careless.
“As if we just forget the idea Marbi," I said.
“Then, let's steal the robber's horse," Marbella still tried to negotiate as if the night would not finish well unless we stole something. 'Stole from thieves, that's it'
"We can't let this uncle stay here all night" I reminded.
"He's right!” The robber uncle spoke with urgency. “I can't stay here all night!”
Marbella sighed, and stuck her head out the window again. “OK,” said.
“This is generosity for you, robber. Start standing still while staring straight ahead there, and don't try any tricks because if you do, I
just need to say the word-”
“Don't say a word!” Please the robber is even more urgent.
“Alright, you're really quick to understand. And we'll take one of your horses as punishment and you can have one horse and his chariot. Fair enough?” Marbella again looks amazing with her words.
“Whatever you say!” Reply to the robber uncle, then it appears he thought of something else and added hastily, “But please don't say any magic words to me!" With a look his eyes continued to stare straight ahead from where he stood.
Marbella walked ahead down the stairs with her robber uncle and I followed her towards the horse-drawn carriage. Marbella broke off a white horse, and she also took a sword from the chariot. Then turned and led horses and chariots back to us.
“Alright, time to go now, and you must promise not to set foot here or remember this incident and place again, my words can chase you to any extent, Promise?”
“You can hold my word as a thief,” said the robber, slowly lowering his hand to his side, waiting.
“Good. We can definitely trust that,” as Marbella's hand swings slowly and I reply with a small nod.
The man felt his pants and clothes lighten up as the rats came out and ran away. He waited for a while, then turned around, bowed and passed, disappearing in the thick of the night and the sound of rain.
That's how my wonderful sister Marbella ended the robbery story without taking a day. Next, what the mayor wrote this time for us.
