LUCEM
LXII Chapter

The other afternoon after a long workout with Magenta. Venus and I decided to go back to the long chairs on the side of the park to relax.

"Your ability is improving, man," Venus patted me on the shoulder.

"My teachers are amazing, I got what they said I had to get. Magenta and the others are very generous in sharing skills, I'm really lucky" I said.

"Yes, you are very lucky and also thanks to talent" Venus replied.

"Let's know, I've heard a couple of similar phrases, blessings, talent and luck... Maybe I do have it," I shrugged.

"You're blessed with the talent and love of your sister, that's special" Venus said.

"You're right again, man. Although I don't know what all this is for," I stared at the grass beneath my feet.

"Don't think about what it's for, because you'll know the usefulness of something when you need it," Venus stood up.

"For now let's just say that girls are sharing their knowledge with you. Everyone is a teacher to others and everyone is a student. For a teacher, if not sharing knowledge, it is free.

Beyond work and love, I will add two other ingredients that give meaning to life.

First, to fulfill the talents we have from birth. As much as we are blessed by destiny with different abilities and powers, we should strive to develop them to the fullest, instead of letting them stop evolving and decaying. We all know people who did not keep the promises they showed in childhood. You recall? Aspires.

Many of them are haunted by the picture of what they will become. But, instead of blaming fate, I think we should accept ourselves for who we are and try to realize whatever dreams we have within our means.

Second, we must try to leave the world in a better place than when we entered it. As individuals, we can make a difference, whether it's exploring the secrets of nature, cleaning the environment and working for peace and social justice, or cultivate the spirit of curiosity and the spirit of young people by being a guide and guided," said the man Venus, with the wisdom I just knew.

I nodded, sparkling man. I became 'contained' just by sitting down and talking to him.

"Have you ever tried to learn magic?" My toot.

"My magic is cooking, that's what Magenta says," Venus laughed.

"Yes, your hands have it," I laughed back.

"Yes, man... Do you think this dimensional space doesn't feel confusing?" I asked back.

"I admit, the thing I don't understand the most in this world is this dimensional space. It was like entering a parallel world with a planet similar to Earth, with a house indistinguishable from yours, inhabited by people similar to ourselves, he said, the one who is currently chatting and the shadow is us, in a distant galaxy,—Venus speaks in a mysterious style.

And... there is not only one such copy, like us,—ia turned around. In a boundless universe, there are so many of us, he's someone you don't want to meet in a dark alley" Venus said.

"Like doppelganger?" My guess.

"Yes! your doppelganger is now reading this sentence with you," Venus moved slowly along with her words.

"Owh!" He held his head dramatically.

"What's wrong?" Askaqua.

"Maybe—shadowku, he missed or felt the need for a snack," said Venus and she immediately ran small towards the kitchen.

The hidden reality of dimensional space may not be what Venus tells us, but having a dimensional space story of any version will never answer with certainty my questions. I know it's definitely gonna be.

When Venus returned with snack setoples and hot chocolate, our conversation began.

"Dimension space may be new to you, but to me it's a real home" Venus said, sipping her hot chocolate slowly.

"Because you're with him, right?"

"That too, and here... You know, like driving. You can go wherever you want, but there's something special about it" Venus said.

"Yes, what is it?" My toot.

"This may be a difficult thing to digest, no matter how far we travel in dimensional space, we are right in place at the same time" Venus said.

"Go and stay in place, is that it? ask again.

"Yup, find the coordinates of this house, then we'll be there for sure, as long as we don't really get out over that fence" Venus pointed out.

"We also have such a similar boundary in the Moonflower house, and I think we have really ventured far in the dimensional space. That's four days or so" I said.

"I understand that, move but don't... You just have our coordinates exactly" explained Venus.

"Too hard to understand right away," I chuckled.

"I even thought my sanity had been lost at first, a day that changed every time we were careless counting and the time that sometimes ran faltered. And now I understand that dimensional space is not to be pursued, just to be followed, enjoy it and they will adapt it to you" Venus opened the jar containing the quaci and thrust its contents at me.

"I haven't even solved the mystery of the door in your house," I took a handful of quaci.

"Hahaha, I strongly advise you not to think too much if it's about a witch's house" Venus said.

"Wow, someone just did a rectification of his words yesterday," I raised my eyebrows in turn.

"Oh!...Hahaha..," tickled Venus. Undeniably, magic users are witches."

"I've heard that sometimes people come to ask witches for potions or magic spells, for a specific purpose, it's like using magic for commercial purposes and satisfying someone's desires" he said.

I'm separating between a fat quaci and a skinny one.

"Umm yeah, I was a witness to that kind of silliness. Girlfriend trouble, you understand? He asked me to accompany him to meet a famous witch in my old village, Morpheus. To the "binding spell" my friend said that it was to protect her boyfriend from "emotional voodoo" her ex-lover." Venus says all that while increasing her speed in chewing the quaci.

"Then how?" I'm getting more enthusiastic.

"Morpheus gave us a piece of worn cloth with a 'freezing spell, written on it. And you know— we also have to shop, it involves buying a beef tongue from a butcher, my friend slicing it, putting in something that represents an ex-lover, his picture, his, and write down what my friend wanted to do to his ex-girlfriend.—Venus cut his story and drank.

Then,—next. Morpheus's writing instructed my friend to add the photo to a mixture of several groceries... Mustard for distraction, red and black pepper to make bad words burn in his mouth, cloves or slippery elm bark to defy evil talk, and most importantly, alum, alum, to stop his tongue. Lastly, sew or clip her tongue, wrap it in tin foil and put it in the freezer," Venus looked at me fixedly.

I stopped chewing.
