I was simultaneously confused and amazed.
Curious.
Horrified by something I don't understand.
“However,” said Magenta sharply, “I don't like it. Can you fix it?”
Lucio sat forward, crossing his arms. “Can I fix it? Can I correct the fact that he can't help but damage the path of dimensional space with his strange power? Lucio shook his head. Laugh again. “Such wiring cannot be undone without causing serious impact. The impact will set us back.
“What does it look like? Restore us how?” Magenta raid.
Lucio looked at me. Glances Marbella.
Magenta. "You guys," he looked at us.
"Yes?" Marbella gave a response.
"Leave us." Magenta Pinta.
"Ok," answered Marbella briefly.
I turned sharply and headed for the exit. The door shifted open on its own in anticipation of my arrival, but I hesitated, only a few meters away, when I heard Lucio laughing again.
I know I shouldn't have eavesdropped. I know it's wrong. I know this.
Still, it seems like I can't move.
My body rebelled, yelling at me to cross the doorway, but the seeping heat began to seep into my mind, dulling the urge. I was still glued to the open door, trying to decide what to do, as their voices were carried away.
"He obviously has a type" said Lucio. "At this point, it's practically written in his DNA."
Magenta said something I didn't hear.
"Is that really a bad thing?" luio. “Maybe his admiration for you could benefit you. Take advantage of it.”
"You think I really need a friendship or so incompetent that I have to do the seduction to get what I want from the kid?"
Lucio laughed out loud. “We both know you're never desperate for friendship. But for your competition. .”
"I don't know why I bother with you."
"It's been thirty years, Magenta, and I'm still waiting for you to develop a sense of humor."
“Thirty years, Lucio, and you think I've found some new friends by now. The better.”
"You know, your kids aren't funny either" Lucio ignored. "Interesting how it works, isn't it?"
Magenta groans.
Lucio just laughed harder.
I frowned.
I stood there, trying and failing to process their interactions. Lucio had just insulted a supreme mage, many times.
I don't understand why Magenta is so patient with that man.
But when I heard Magenta's laughter in the distance, I realized that he and Lucio were laughing together. It was a consciousness that surprised me.
They're familiar, friends.
One of the lights right above my head lit up and buzzed, surprising me from my daydream. I shook my head quickly and walked out the door following Marbella who had disappeared a moment before.

On the way back to my room, I told her that Marbella still did not feel well enough to join everyone in the dining room, and messages had been delivered. The problem is, all of this goodness has a price. At least a bowl of warm soup. Remembering the soup I decided to walk towards the dining room.
"So, is this, like, normal for you, or what?" I'm still arranging the food on the plate at the dinner table. Jiso stood stiffly in just any place near the window. He picked that random spot when we entered and he just stood there, staring at nothing, ever since.
“What is normal for me?” ask Jimmy handsome.
"All these people" I said, pointing to the door. “Come here pretending they don't see and know anything. Is it just, like, a normal day for you?”
"I think you forgot, Mars," he said softly, "that I could feel emotions for most of my life."
I raised my eyebrows. “So it's just a normal day for you."
It sounded like Jiso was breathing rough. Look out the window again.
"You're not even gonna pretend it's not true?" I tore the foil container. And more potatoes. "You're not even gonna pretend you don't know that the whole door in this house is interesting?"
"Is that a confession?" Ask Jimmy
"You want that?" My reply.
"I find it boring" said Jimmy. "In addition, if I pay attention to everyone who thinks what's behind those doors is interesting, I'll never have time for anything else." Jimmy said.
I almost dropped a potato.
I waited for him to smile, to tell me that he was joking, and when he didn't, I shook my head, stunned.
"Wow" I said. "Your lowliness is a fucking inspiration."
Jimmy shrugged his shoulders.
“Hey,” I said, “talk about things that disgust me. Do you maybe want to, like, wash a little blood off your face before we eat?” I said to Jiso.
Jiso glared at me in response, he fingered her face.
I raised my hand. "OKAY. Chilly. It's okay." I took the tissue sheet and thrust it for Jiso. “Actually, I heard that blood is good for you. You know, organic. Antioxidants and impurities. Very popular in the medical community."
“Can you hear the things you say out loud? Don't you realize how annoying your voice has been since you woke up last time?” Jiso grunting. Grabbing tissue from my hand.
I rolled my eyes. "Alright, I'll call the beauty queens, the food is ready." I switched the conversation.
"I'm serious" he said. “Did it never occur to you to think things through before speaking? Did it ever occur to you to stop talking altogether? If not, it should be.” Jiso looks upset.
I'm trying to guess what makes this big rat really riled up.
“Come Sit." Take me.
Reluctantly, Jiso did. He sat down and stared blankly at the food in front of him.
I gave him a few seconds before I said. “Do you remember how to do this? Or do you need me to feed you? I stabbed a piece of tofu and aimed towards him. “Say ah. Know choo choo is coming.”
“One more joke, Mars, and I will bite your finger.” Jiso seemed to be trying hard to hold back his smile.
"You're right." I put down the fork. "I understand. I'm also fussy when hungry.” I said, running away to invite others to join me for a meal.
My sense of humor has become strange lately, it's not without reason. I'm cursing my head. I cursed at all the things that passed and I did not understand at once. I'm cursing our current situation.
I need to talk to Marbella, whatever makes her uncomfortable, I need to get answers.
Moonflower even shunned the conversation with me, Jiso and the depressed group of mice. And Magenta, Venus was a man of the future who came suddenly. If I wasn't able to make a little more conclusions, I might go crazy.
