Jared drove Lily home that night. The simple house looks empty.

"It's late, Aunt Dien must be asleep. Do you always come home this late?" jared looked at Lily.

Jared forgot his mission to avenge Lily's rancid behavior a few days ago, trying to forget about salt-flavored tea, because today Lily has helped and saved him from the situation and the punishment of cleaning the club's toilets'.

"Not always. I only come home late to Tancho's fight like last night and now."

"Is Aunt Dien's illness so severe?"

"Cancer of the intestines, stage 2," Lily explained.

"I am sorry about Aunt's condition. When's the chemo schedule again?"

Jared nodded his head, understood. "Tomorrow I'll take your mother to the hospital" Owen broke up.

"Hmm?" Lily turned to Jared when her hand touched the car door handle.

Lily smiled softly, a smile that was once Jared noticed the tiny lips of the girl.

"Why is his smile like that? Turns out she's .. sweet too." Jared's thoughts made him return Lily's smile.

Lily even waved at Jared at a glance, then he entered the house and locked the door according to a warning from Jared.

Behind the door of the house, Lily leaned back while holding her chest that felt thumping. I don't know why Jared's treatment has changed since they left the club. Is this because Jared had said the sentence of a marriage invitation? But, it's just a joke. Then, why did Jared's attitude really soften?

On the other hand, Jared re-started the engine of his car after making sure Lily had really entered the house.

"Jared, please take Jeff to daycare today. Gloria is not healthy. I'll check on him at the hospital."

"All right, sir." Jared looked at Jeff who started walking towards him accompanied by a waiter because Gloria was lying down with pain.

"Let's go, Jeff!" jared said excitedly.

"Let's go, Uncle!"

Whistling, Jared carried Jeff to take him to a parked car.

"What did Jeff bring?" Jared saw Jeff opening his bag in the car when they were halfway there.

"Chocolate."

"A lot?"

"Yes, Jeff will share it for all his friends on daycare. Everyone gets one chocolate. And these three...." Jeff pointed to three other chocolate bars that he did not remove from the bag. "this is for Lily. Lily loves chocolate. Wuhuh...." Jeff cheered happily and looked enthusiastic.

"You're so smart, Jeff..." Jared looked at Jeff proudly as if the boy was his own son.

"Jeff has to be smart, Uncle! To make Jeff a successful person like Daddy and a cool guy like Uncle...."

Jared chuckled at Jeff's very innocent babble.

"It's really cool Uncle, huh, Jeff?"

Jeff nodded. "Yes, Lily said."

"Lily said that to Jeff?"

Jeff nodded. "Uncle Jared is so cool, Jeff!" she showed Lily's words.

Jared smiled faintly, it turns out that the girl did admire him just prestige if in front of him.

After Daycare, Jared decided to visit Lily's residence first. Unfortunately, the house was tightly closed even though Jared had knocked on it repeatedly. Jared's sure something's wrong. Unfortunately he forgot to ask Lily where Dientin was undergoing treatment. Jared also cursed himself for not keeping Lily's mobile number.

As he was about to leave the house, a car came to a stop right next to Jared's car, making the man notice.

A woman with a foreign taqk face got out of the car.

Rose growled, not expecting to see her ex-lover at her mother's house. His eyes squinted, noticing Jared's appearance from head to toe. In one glance, Rose knew that Jared's degree of life was now definitely above.

"Did you come here to show off?" sarcasm Rose.

"Your mouth is still as sharp as ever!" ketus Jared and get in his car.

Actually Jared wanted to know the address of the hospital where Dientin was treated, but he preferred to avoid Rose because the meeting with the woman made him quite surprised.

Although there was no sense, the meeting between him and Rose today was the first meeting after they separated ten years ago. This is enough to make Jared's heart back to the nelangsa.
