Me And The Mysterious Man's
Chapter 54 - Stuck Together

"Be careful with Jack!" david said across the phone. Instantly awakened Becca who had been daydreaming about Tara.

"Okay, you too. Keep yourself there!" reply Becca while downing her saliva once. The conversation with my father ended there. Then Becca calms down on the couch with Ben.

"Is everything okay?" asked Ben who could see the anxious expression on Becca's face.

"Snow is getting thicker. I think the storm's over and you can't go home now." Becca looked at Ben from the corner of her eye. But the man he looked at immediately threw his face away and focused on the television. It seems Ben knows that Becca has realized that she does not want to go home intentionally.

Becca left for a while to turn on the heater. Not to forget also, the fireplace that has not been used for a long time tried to be lit. Because the cold is increasing, as the snow continues to fall.

"Anna and I better go home" Jack said, moving his feet up the stairs.

Becca simply fell silent, and turned to look at Jack. He could only watch the back of the man. Actually Becca really wants to discuss Aaron's problem with Jack. However, it was canceled, because Ben was still present with him.

"Gosh, I forgot to prepare the firewood," Becca lamented, reflexively patting her own eel.

"Are you in trouble? here, let me help." Ben got up from the couch, and walked over to Becca. He stood behind the girl, slightly crouching with his hands on both knees. Pay attention to the fireplace that is still empty, without firewood there.

"So.. where does David store firewood?" ask Ben. Opening her eyes a few times, her eyeballs were slowly directed at Becca who was already standing.

"I think in the barn." - Becca looked at the window. He tried to make sure things were out. There was no change at all, the snow seemed to be getting heavier. The problem is that the warehouse that David often uses these days, is a small building that is separate from his home. It is located in the back of the house itself. It was about ten steps away from his residence.

Becca and Ben were standing at the back door. Both of them were wearing thick coats. Do not forget also one flashlight that is held tightly in their hands.

"You ready?" asked Becca who had gripped the doorknob in front of her. Ben answered with one word yes. Then let Becca open the door.

Bresss!

Dozens of snowflakes instantly hit Becca and Ben's bodies. The coldness that spread caused all over their bodies to goosebumps immediately. The hair both fluttered due to being hit by the wind temperature below minus 18 degrees Celsius.

The snow wind almost caused Becca to fall backwards. But Ben's hand swiftly caught it.

"Are you okay?" asked Ben in an elevated voice. The slightly deafening whirring of the wind made him have to speak a little louder than usual.

Becca just nodded. His essence suddenly shifted to the things that fell behind him. Realizing that, Becca rushes to take Ben out and closes the door. He did so that the state of his house did not get messy.

"Come on!" bring Becca. Put his feet first on the snow. But the girl fell again, and this time Ben could not save her. Becca fell because the snow mound she was treading was still not solid. Half his body was now submerged in the snow.

"Beca!" Ben rushed to help from behind. Unexpectedly another pair of hands brought Becca to rise. It was Jack, who did not leave, as he had not yet succeeded in persuading Anna to return home. As a result, they all returned home due to Becca's circumstances that were not possible.

Bruk!

Jack quickly closed the door. Then he breathed out of his mouth. The same goes for Becca and Ben. They try to calm themselves.

"I didn't expect the storm to be this bad." Becca said as she cleared up the snow lodged in her face. His cheeks were reddened by feeling excessive coldness. Having soaked in the snow, of course, causing his body to shiver now.

"Let me take the wood!" said Ben sure. The look from his black bead of his club was always soothing. To make anyone who sees it melt and believe in it. But a Becca would worry about him. He won't let anything happen to his only friend.

"Of course not! don't-"

"Calm down, I'll help!" jack's words cut out Becca's words. He intends to help Ben to cross over to the warehouse.

"NO! we cancel it. No need to use firewood. We can..." Becca circulated her gaze with a wave. Trying to find something that can be used as fuel. Until the pile of used magazines managed to attract his attention. "That's, we can use a used magazine!"

"Becca, do you think how long that magazine will last? you don't even know when the storm's over. The furniture in your home also looks modern. Only about ten percent use wood material," Jack gave a lengthy excuse.

"Jack's right. After all, the sooner the better. Fear that the snow will get thicker!" for the first time Ben agreed with Jack.

"Okay, then I'll come too!" Becca insists.

"After what happened to you? Becca, your body is shaking!" reply Ben, staring hard. Jack who was standing in front of him also raised the same gaze.

Two on one. Becca loses, she is forced to let Jack and Ben go to the warehouse. Before that, he whipped up another coat for the two men.

"Close the door after we get out!" tell Jack who then immediately came out along with Ben.

Silence immediately welcomed Becca, when the door was closed. Jack and Ben are gone. Her hair that had been blown by the cold wind seemed to calm down again. Becca then galloped to the front of the window, and opened the curtain. He checked the situation of the two men.

Jack is walking in the lead. Ben stepped behind him. It actually only takes a few steps to reach the warehouse. But the wind and heavy snow made their way slow down. In addition, the snow mounds they pitched were getting thickened. They can't stay for long in one place. Because obviously the snow mounds would trap and bury their feet as fast as lightning.

Ben started to shiver. He moved his legs while hugging his own body. Jack was far away from him. Not wanting to lose to Jack, Ben forced himself to use all his energy to chase.

Jack has arrived in front of the barn. Before opening the door, he looked back to confirm Ben's condition. Not long ago turning around, Ben had arrived before him, then opened the warehouse door first.
