Me And The Mysterious Man's
Chapter 59 - The Disappearance of David

Becca's asleep. But not for Jack. As a result of his own story he raged in his past. Slowly shifted his gaze to the face of the beautiful girl next to him. His thin smile expands, when watching the face of the brown-haired girl. She kept looking at Becca until she didn't feel like she was falling asleep.

Jack's father didn't last long. He was only able to fall asleep for three hours. His eyes were wide open at six in the morning. Something was interesting at the time. The snow outside doesn't sound rustling anymore. Has the storm stopped?

"Mmmm..." Becca suddenly muttered. His eyes are still tight. The girl opened her eyes slowly. The handsome face of Jack who was pretending to be asleep welcomed his vision.

This time it was Becca who smiled faintly. Her body was now better, even warmer. He shifted his head to be able to look at Jack more closely. The two clenched hands were used as the pads of his cheeks.

'His face shows absolutely no suffering that she is told, ' Becca's inner self, stunned by the beautiful face of a Jack.

The deg!

Becca's heart beats when Jack wakes up. The girl's eyes were opened. However, he and Jack are glued to each other.

"A-I-" Becca's words come to a halt, as Jack kisses her lips abruptly. One of the man's hands held his nape tightly. Until the kiss given by Jack can be done intensely.

Becca starts to hold Jack's collar. Until Jack changes his position on Becca's body naturally. Both hearts are racing faster. Butterflies also seemed to fly in their stomachs. Breath even follow-up can not be set well, and cause a voice that can be heard clearly in the ear.

Chequek!

"Becca! the storm has-" Jonas suddenly opens the door. This leads Becca and Jack to separate quickly.

"So-sorry. I don't know" said Jonas awkwardly. And then quickly fled. While Becca just rubbed rough his face.

"It looks like Jonas was trying to tell us that the storm has stopped" Jack said as he stood up, then tried to walk out. But his intention stopped when Becca called his name.

"I remember you told me once that you had no interest in having a lover or a wife. But if that woman is me, do I have a chance?" becca said with a meaningful twinkle in her eyes.

"Becca, I want-"

"Beca!" ben's voice cuts off Jack's words. Becca then turned her gaze towards Ben who was getting closer to him.

Jack was forced to leave, because Ben always looked at him with a cynical look. Becca just let out a long sigh, all of Ben's words even sounded like the wind and was swallowed.

Anna opened the front door. The snow plumes high in the courtyard greeted him. But this time there was no wind or snow. Except for the bright sunlight.

Jack advises Anna to wait at his house only. Because he felt he did not want to make Becca a hassle. Moreover, Ben also certainly can not go home, due to ice clots on the streets that have not been cleaned.

...***...

After eating for nearly seven hours, the streets were finally cleared of ice by janitors. Ben and Anna have returned home. But not for David, the middle-aged man has not been heard from. That afternoon, she told Becca by phone that she was on her way home.

"Didn't he lift it too?" jonas asked while sitting in front of Becca.

"Not yet! do you think David's bullshitting us?" reply Becca with a deep frown. He contacted David again for the twentyth time. But still, his father did not lift his call.

"Hallo's? with Louisiana's central police station." A man's voice answered from across the phone. He's none other than Wilden, David's co-worker.

"Hallo, this is Rebecca Green. David Green's daughter, I just wanted to ask, is my dad still in the office?" becca. I hope he gets some news from his father soon.

"Oh, David? he came home this afternoon. Has he not returned?" sahut Wilden, turn around.

"No, what did David say would go somewhere first before going home?"

"I don't know. I don't think there is. David seems to want to hurry home, because he's worried about you."

"Emm. okay, thank you.." replied Becca, feeling disappointed.

"Listen, I think he's probably stuck in traffic. Since the road has just opened, there are likely to be many cars driving." Wilden seems to be trying to calm Becca down. "This is only a few hours. I'm sure he's fine," he added.

"Yes, I hope so." Becca responded, then immediately hung up.

"How's it?" Jonas immediately chimed in. Becca answered with a soft-expressed head.

"But, I'm sure he's fine. Don't overdo it, Jonas!" becca, trying to think positively.

Jonas was silent, and stared blankly at the figura that contained the image of his father. Because his father does not usually come home late. If David says he's going home, then a few minutes later he'll definitely be home.

Although busy working, but if the problem goes home, David always try to return as soon as possible. Even Becca knows it.

One day has passed. The news about David has not been heard. Now Becca and Jonas are getting anxious. Both are now in the police station where David works.

Now Becca and Jonas are sitting next to each other on a bench. Staring at David's coworkers who seemed to be confused. It seems they also do not know where David is. They only managed to find CCTV footage of David's car driving down Eden Street.

"Becca, we're trying to find David. Later we will tell you again the progress," Wilden told me.

"So, he's declared missing?" ask Becca with a look at her worried face. The same thing Jonas did.

Wilden nodded slowly, and apologized as a sign of his empathy.

Becca speaks a thousand languages. His heart felt raging. I don't know what is really being felt. But one thing he really wants now is to see David's face in plain sight.

"David..." Jonas started whining hysterically. His wrists seemed to be trying to cover both of his eyes.

"Jonah..." Becca holds Jonas' shoulder slowly, but immediately gets a pat.

"It's all because of you, Becca!" jonas got up from his seat. All eyes were on him. "You always make him angry! why do you keep asking her to fight at home!" she snapped, then left Becca.

"Jonas!" call Becca. His face began to show stripes of sadness. His eyes slowly began to dew. The girl cried while covering her face with both hands.
