Becca stood in front of the mirror with a few drops of clear liquid that managed to escape from both eyes. He was actually just tired of what had happened to him now. Becca tries to show herself that she is okay. But in reality he harbors such deep disappointment. He wailed alone. There were only echoes of her crying voice accompanying her.
Unbeknownst to him, David was standing at the bathroom door right where Becca was. He could hear the voice of his daughter. David suddenly felt guilty.
'I'm sure Becca went through a lot of hard work. But all I did was scold him, even since his arrival here. Maybe I should take a few days off to spend my vacation time with Becca and Jonas, David murmured inwardly. Then go to work. Before that, David took the phone into his pants pocket. He's trying to reach Becca's close friend. It just so happens that it's Sunday, so it's likely that Ben and Tara are not working.
David himself works as a cop, so he doesn't take Sunday off.
Ben who knows the news about his best friend, immediately slid to Becca's house. Especially when David tells him that Becca is in need of a friend.
Becca looks to be rinsing her hair with a towel. He just finished cleaning up. To be honest, there was still a sense of dizziness left.
"Beca!" Ben suddenly appeared from the door. With a sincerely imprinted smile from the tinge of his face. Becca, who heard him, turned to him.
"Ben?" Becca is confused by Ben's presence. He looked questioningly at the man. But Ben just stared at Becca.
With her half-wet hair, Becca looks very beautiful and charming. The face without make up managed to shake the heart of a Ben. At least that's how Ben felt when he faced Becca.
"Ben!" Becca calls once more, and makes Ben instantly aware of his daydream.
"I'm sorry Becca, I suddenly thought of something else." Ben stood up and laughed at himself.
"Another thing? perverted?" guess Becca bluntly, until it managed to cause Ben's eyes to widen.
"W-what do you mean, I'm not that bad guy!" bens firmly with stammering.
"Maybe it is. Your mind is all you know."
"But I make sure I don't think about it. How could I possibly be so perverted when I see a girl like you!" ben said as he sat himself in the bed.
"What?! damn you Ben!" Becca points her kick at Ben. He only intended to threaten and had absolutely no intention of kicking it. Ben could only laugh amusedly when he saw the outburst of his best friend's anger.
"Is that how bad I am?" Becca suddenly put on a serious face. His expression made Ben stunned.
"Whatchu mean? why did you suddenly become so serious?" ben's response was astonished.
"I mean, that's as bad as a girl like me, Ben?" Becca lowered her head as if disappointed.
"Bu-not that I mean. I'm just kidding Becca, you don't take it seriously! is your mood that bad right now?" Ben stared at Becca. He was so worried about his best friend.
"Very bad!" Becca answered in a voice that shook because she wanted to cry again. The girl again felt disappointed in herself, especially after listening to the words of her best friend earlier against her.
Ben who saw immediately stood up. He felt he had to take responsibility for the joke. The man grabbed Becca's hand and took her out of the room.
"Eh! where are you taking me?" becca asked while wiping away her tears that were about to fall.
Ben stops his steps while in Becca's yard. He turned around, so he could talk to each other face to face with his best friend.
"Let's go to the lake, maybe by going there, your mind can be more light!" take Ben who is impatient.
"alright. But I need my medication first." Becca held her head.
"You were drunk last night?" ask Ben to worry.
"Jack? the wine? you drank with him?" Ben was getting overwhelmed with anxiety. Let alone hearing the name of another man straight out of Becca's mouth.
"Just by chance Ben, after all it's all my fault!" sahut Becca while looking for an influence drug from the box that contains a collection of chemical items.
"But you shouldn't drink with strangers like that, Becca!"
"Calm down Ben, Jack's not that bad. The proof, after I was unconscious, he immediately informed David of my situation." Becca now puts her medication in her mouth, then lets it dissolve with the mineral water she drinks.
"What?! unconscious. How can you be so sure that Jack didn't do anything?!" Ben felt disbelief.
Becca who had just finished taking her medicine replied, "You why so much?! I told you nothing happened!" he frowned, as if to show Ben that he no longer wanted to discuss more about what he was talking about now.
"I hope so. You gotta be careful, Becca." Ben squealing.
"I can take care of myself. So, are we really going to the lake now?" Becca walked over to Ben.
"Of course!" Ben agreed immediately. She and Becca soon walk together to a place that was once an important memory of her childhood.
"Well, are you busy?" becca asked, equating her steps with Ben. Both have entered the forest area, precisely on the path.
"On Sundays Tara usually helps her mother make bread. You know, right?" answer Ben. He keeps stealing glances at Becca.
"Now? I thought her mother had stopped selling bread."
"Before, but as orders grew crowded, Tara's mother felt she had to continue her business."
"Bfft! I'm sure Tara's grumbling right now." Becca guessed sure.
"of course! he's been complaining about it a hundred times." Ben laughed with Becca. They had now arrived at the lake. The place is very calm and cool. Although around the lake there are dried leaves. But it does not change at all the comfortable atmosphere that is there.
"This place never changes!" said Becca while stepping foot down the bridge that is available.
Lake and the bridge of Eden :
Becca is now sitting at the end of the bridge. He removed his sandals first, then dangled both of his legs down. His feet were now about the coldness of the lake water.
Ben who saw then immediately positioned himself sitting next to Becca. But he refused to wash his feet in the water. The man sat down cross-legged while inhaling the smell of cool trees.
"If it's early in the morning it'll be fresh!" said Ben.
"Gee! but the cold will be worse!" sahut Becca plays her feet in the water. She did not know the man next to her was looking at her.
Ben wants to talk. Before that, she downed her saliva first and said, "Becca, can I say something?"
"Hmm?" Becca turned to Ben. They are now exchanging hands.
The deg! The deg! The deg!
Ben's heart is pounding no more.
