Apologize

For three days Mey locked herself in her room. Today Mey forced herself to wake up. He's going to meet Kana to apologize to her. Actually he felt bad for leaving his job at the company, but Mey lost her confidence after the incident that night.

Mey had already finished her bath and was now standing in front of the mirror. Even though he had bathed many times, still he felt his body was dirty. There was still a trace of Renan on his chest as the man pulled his bra forcefully. Renan's actions had completely destroyed his pride.

Mey was about to come out when suddenly her bedroom door was knocked.

"Meylan darling ... Can mom come in?" Kana's voice was soft from behind the door.

Mey is shocked, not expecting Kana to visit him. Then Mey opened the door for Kana.

"Look Ma" Mey said after she kissed her in-laws' cheeks. Kana went straight in and sat on the sofa inside Mey's room.

"Bi Susi says you're not feeling well. So Mama wants to see how you are. What are you feeling? Do you need to call a doctor?"

"No need to Ma ... I'm okay, I'm better" Mey replied hurriedly.

"Why you, baby? Mama already said, if there is a problem you can tell the same story Mama or papa."

Mey just looked down. He couldn't possibly tell her what Renan had done to her. It would only embarrass himself. Renan is not wrong, it is his right to enjoy Mey's body, just the wrong way.

"Mama knows, your relationship and Renan's not going well. Mama can understand that. Mama won't blame you." Kana finds out Renan and Mey are sleeping separately, but she doesn't want to discuss it. Kana was aware of Renan's nature like that, there was no way they could get close in such a short time.

"I want to apologize to Mama. I'm sorry I haven't been able to be a good daughter-in-law to mom and dad." Mey lowered her head. She felt very bad about Kana.

"I'm no longer strong Ma ... I can't last much longer with Renan." Mey started sobbing. "Mom can ask me to do anything just don't force me to stay any longer with my sister." Mey came down from her seat and rested in front of Cana. He felt guilty for failing to be a good son-in-law.

"Maybe my mother would call me a child who doesn't know how to return the favor, but I'm really not strong enough to face my sister's attitude. I beg you to forgive me Ma ..."

Kana pulls Mey's body back to the couch. He could not bear to see Mey who seemed to be extremely injured. Although Kana did not take care of Mey directly but she knew this foster child was not a crybaby and weak girl.

Kana also understands very well how Renan is now. He was very rude and did not care about people's feelings. So Kana guessed that Mey got like this, surely what Renan did to her was over the line.

"Mama should be apologizing to you. I'm sorry you forced you to marry Renan. Mama's sorry for what she's done to you, whatever it is." Mey felt more guilty. Kana is very kind, she even apologizes for Renan's attitude towards her.

"You can ask anything from Mama, but don't ask to separate from Renan. Mama can't grant that. Renan was a good boy, you know him too. Mama's sure she can be like before. Please give him a chance."

Mey was speechless. He wiped his tears.

"For a while I wanted to go back to living in Ma's apartment, I wanted to rethink all this."

With a heavy heart Kana nodded. "Mama allow ... Maybe you just need some time alone. But Mama is not willing until you want to separate from Renan. You're mom's only hope that she can come back the way she used to."

Actually Mey still had questions in her heart, why should she be their hope, but she did not dare to ask.

Maybe what Kana said was true, Mey just needed time alone to manage her feelings and thoughts.

"It doesn't seem necessary Ma .. Brother won't care where I live."

"Mama still has to tell him," Kana replies while caressing Mey's long hair.

Kana walked hurriedly towards Renan's room. Ever since meeting Mey, she's been furious with her only child. Kana who is notoriously friendly even to the point of not returning greetings from Dito and other employees.

"What have you done Ren?!" kana said as soon as she walked into Renan's room.

Renan is shocked to see his mother suddenly appear but remains as cold as ever.

"What does Mama mean?" renan asked without taking his eyes off the laptop in front of him.

"What have you done until she doesn't want to stay with you anymore? He said he would stay in his apartment. Why does she look so traumatized to you?"

Renan was stunned to hear Kana's words. It was after the incident that night that she had not seen Mey's face again.

"What did my mom expect? I treated her like a queen?" Renan screeches. "Women who marry for treasure!"

Renan has started to feel guilty since finding out he was the first man to touch Mey, but she tries to hide it.

"Are you completely blind? Is your heart unable to tell which good woman is which cheap woman as you often mention?! Why is your mind so narrow like this?!" Kana looks very emotional.

Renan was still reluctant to look at the face of the mother. He prefers to focus on his work and let Kana judge him.

"Your mom and dad chose her to be your wife for a reason! We've thought of everything!"

"Oh yeah ... ?" Renan stood up and looked at Kana. It was as if she was challenging her mother. "Why does my mom keep defending him? Is that mama's son me or her???

"If you were told to choose Mey or you, you would choose Mey to be your son! Mama never gave birth to a heartless man like you!"

"What has a cheap woman done that you chose her???!"

"Plakkk !!!" Kana slaps Renan but he just smiles.

"Look what mom did! Mama slapped her own son to defend that cheap woman!" Kana took a few steps back after realizing she had just slapped Renan.

"Stop calling her a cheap girl! You don't know anything about Meylan, so don't talk carelessly! You want to know who the cheap women are here?! Mama is that cheap girl!!!" Kana was unaware of what she had just said.

"What does mama mean?"

"It's nothing ... Forget it!" Kana immediately left without answering Renan's curiosity.
