She's Different

Mey and Renan have been married for two weeks. Today, very early in the morning her father-in-law, Cana had already come to their residence. Luckily Renan had already left for work so Kana did not see how her son treated Mey.

"Where's dear?" ask Kana to her daughter-in-law.

"Having gone Mah, he had an important meeting this morning" Mey replied. She did not expect Kana to come to her house.

"Where's darling? Renan was nice to you, right?" Kana immediately asked that because she had memorized how Renan's character was now.

"Yes Ma ... Big brother," Mey was so nervous because she was lying. "Mama has breakfast?"

"Already, Mama had eaten earlier at home with your Papa."

"Is Mama having an event or is she going somewhere?"

"Don't darling, Mama did come here to see how you were doing."

Mey looked at the watch in her hand. It's time he left otherwise he could be late. But she was not good to have to leave her new in-laws. Cana could see Mey's uneasiness.

"You can go Mey, you'll be late. Mama's okay. Don't worry."

Mey smiling. "Thank you Ma, see you."

Mey grabbed her bag and walked over to Kana and kissed her cheek and left.

"See you, honey, be careful."

After Mey's departure, Kana searches for Bi Susi. He wanted to ask what had happened in the house. Even though Bi Susi had been warned by Renan, she still could not lie to me. He tells Kana what has happened in the house, including Renan who slept separately with Mey.

Kana looked sad to hear the report from Bi Susi. Getting Renan back to what he used to be is not easy.

Dito was accompanying his boss to a meal in his room. Because the meeting was long enough they did not have time for lunch.

"Tell me about the woman" Renan said, chewing his food.

She starts to get curious about Mey but not because she starts to like her. He wants to find out what Mey's plan is. He still thinks Mey is marrying him because he has an evil plan to take all of his family's possessions.

"Meylan?" Renan nodded.

"Jeez Ren ... Don't you know him too? You even knew him since he was a kid. I have known him for a few years. You should know more than me."

"He was a child at the time. Now it's different, money can change a person's character" Renan replied coldly.

"That changed was you Ren. How long are you going to be like this?"

"Don't talk much. Just tell me what you know about him!"

"She's a nice, friendly, smart, beautiful girl ... "

"Stop .. stop ...! I asked you to tell me about him instead of praising him."

Dito sighed. "I would have happily married Mey. Don't equate her with the women you've slept with!"

Renan screeches. "What difference? With money all women look the same in my eyes. They'll take off their clothes if they see the money."

"Have you done that to Mey?"

"Whatchu mean? I wouldn't touch him. They are not hypocrites. They are selling themselves for money. But girls like him, impersonate girls well but actually they're worse."

Dito just shook his head to hear Renan's explanation.

"I mean, have you tried to offer Mey money?"

Renan did not answer.

"He doesn't want to, does he? I know it. Mey is the woman who keeps her honor. How many times do I have to tell you, don't think all women are the same."

"Ask you no use!" Renan threw his spoon in annoyance. But Dito did not bother with Renan's attitude.

"Aren't you asking me what I know about him? Yeah that's all I know about Mey, she's a good girl."

"I don't know why you're defending him. You all must have been fooled by her innocent face. Does she have a boyfriend?"

"I don't know about that. He is very secretive about his personal life. But I've heard he's close to a man. Even as far as I know he was still close to that man before you guys got married." Dito was unaware that what he had just said had ignited the emotions in Renan's heart

"So she had a boyfriend before she married me?!" Renan's hands clenched. He recalled his ex-girlfriend who apparently already had a lover before connecting with him. Who finally ran away with his girlfriend after draining his money.

"I don't know exactly what their relationship is, which Mey is obviously close to someone. Why did you start asking about his personal life? Are you starting to like it?"

"No way!" Renan's jaw started to harden. His hatred for Mey culminated in hearing the story from Dito. She's sure Mey will run away with her lover once she gets everything.

"So that's your plan?" renan muttered.

Meylan has gone home.

"Is Mama still here?" mei asked Bi Susi, the person she first met at home.

"Madam went straight home after Non Mey left."

"Mom asked you something about me, or about brother?"

"Yes already, thanks Bi." Meylan passed to his room. He put his body on the bed and closed his eyes.

Moments later, Mey opened her eyes and walked into the bathroom. After finishing cleaning her body Mey came out of the bathroom, just wrapped a towel around her body.

At the same time Renan opens the door to Mey's room, which leaves Mey shocked. She did not expect Renan would enter her room without knocking on the door first. Mey never locked the door to her room because she was carried away by the habit of living alone in the apartment. No one would enter his room even if he did not lock the door. But Mey forgot she was now living with Renan.

"Relse ... What's brother doing here?" mey asked nervously. She is not afraid of Renan, but she is ashamed that Renan sees his body covered with a towel.

Renan walked over to Mey with a sharp look. Already since he held back his emotions, when he found out Mey turned out to have a closeness with a man.

Renan immediately gripped Mey's face and locked her eyes.

"What do you want cheap women? Quickly say I'll give it to you, then get out of my life!"

"What does Brother mean?" mey asked as she held onto her towel so as not to sag.

"Don't be hypocritical in front of me. I won't be eaten with your plain-faking attitude! How long will your boyfriend wait until you get what you want? Huh ...?" You'll run away with him after you get everything, right?" Renan continued to grip Mey's face while continuing to stare sharply.

"Sir .. take your hand." Renan immediately removed his hand from Mey's face. Renan's hand left a red mark on Mey's cheek.

Renan smiled mockingly as he watched Mey continue to hold onto her towel.

"Why do you keep holding on to that?" Renan pointed at the towel Mey was wearing. "Don't you normally open it willingly in front of men?" Renan looked at Mey. His gaze was like stripping Mey naked and making Mey even more embarrassed.
