My husband is not my man of choice

My husband is not my man of choice
The Hospital

Renan walked over shuffled towards Mey's room in the care. He was just in the doctor's room examining Mey. Doctors said that Mey was deficient in fluids due to frequent vomiting and lack of nutrients that entered her body.

He also has hypertension. It may be due to stress or it may be a lot of thinking. If it continues then it will harm her fetus.

Renan doesn't know what's really bothering Mey's mind. He's been nice to her. He has also tried to show his care but Mey still can't accept it.

Renan sat by the bed and looked at Mey who was sleeping. Renan remembers how he used to hate Mey so much and how he treated her.

"I'm sorry" Renan murmured.

Slowly Mey opened her eyes. Seeing Renan sitting beside her, Mey immediately turned her face away.

"Can we talk?" asked Renan softly.

Mey kept turning her face away, while Renan himself did not know where to start.

"I know all this time I've been acting very badly on you. Tell me what do I have to do to make up for everything?"

A clear thread began to drip down Meylan's cheek. He doesn't know what he feels or wants. She just wanted to cry without knowing why.

"On that night ... " It felt hard for Renan to continue his sentence. "I'm .. I'm really sorry."

Mey's body trembled, her tears flowing more and more as she heard Renan apologize to her. This was what he had hoped for long ago, but after Renan apologized it turned out to not make his feelings relieved. There was still a gaping wound in his heart without him knowing why.

"I'm sorry ... I'm sorry ... "

Mey remained silent.

"I've misjudged you. I want us to start all over again."

Mey kept quiet so that Renan seemed to be talking alone.

"Jawab I'm Mey ... Do you still hate me?"

"I don't want this kid! I never wanted your money or your company or anything you've ever mentioned. I never cared about that. I just want my life back." Mey sobbing.

Lama Renan was silent. He used to say that. He wanted to be separated from Mey. But now it's exactly the opposite.

"If you really don't want to be with me I will grant your wish. We'll be separated after the child is born. You can move on with your life and I'll move on with mine." Renan's voice began to choke.

"You said you didn't want the kid, did you ...? So I'll take care of him. You don't have to worry."

"Say something Mey ... "

"Go!" That's all that came out of Mey's lips.

Renan. He left Mey in the room alone.

The next day ....

Mey kept recalling Renan's words yesterday. He just wanted the baby, not himself, Mey said.

Maybe Mey would be very happy if it happened before she got pregnant because she could go back to her love, Ivan. But now is Ivan still willing to accept it if the conditions are like this?

These thoughts made Mey's condition worse. He felt an incredible anxiety. And that made him not want to eat or talk.

Renan was worried. He didn't know who to ask Mey to eat.

Renan doesn't know anything about Mey, and his best friend Renan doesn't. There was no way he would give both of their parents because it was clear he would be getting blamed.

"Please accompany him Bi, talk to him and persuade him to eat." Renan looks desperate. She asks Bi Susi to accompany Mey in the hospital because there is a job she cannot leave.

"Good sir."

Renan kept looking at Mey from behind the door before she left.

"Wouldn't you tell Mr and Madam? If there's anything the same Non Meylan then Mr. Renan is to blame."

Bi Susi stared at Renan's departure. He felt his master had started to change. Renan has talked more.

Bi Susi walked into Mey's room in the hospital.

"Feed it first, Non, aunty's bribe."

Mey shook her head weakly. "He left?" ask Mey.

Bi Susi nodded. Although not mentioning the name bi Susi knows what Mey means must be Renan.

"Master is like that Non, from the outside it seems indifferent. But actually he cares a lot about Non Mey."

"He doesn't care about me Bi, he only cares about my baby. She noticed me too because there was her son in my stomach. Otherwise he wouldn't be willing to deal with me."

"Non Mey was wrong. Mr. Renan is often moody after Non Mey's departure from home. He never went out again. At work, I always lock myself in my room. Master is not what he used to be. Non."

Mey speechless. He wanted to believe what Bi Susi said but considering everything Renan had done to him it felt impossible.

"Master has started to change Non. And it's all thanks to Non Meylan."

"What does aunt really mean? Aunty's not entertaining me, is she?"

Bi Susi shook her head. "Basically the young master is a good person. I've known Mr. Renan since he was a child. Non Mey also knew for herself what a young master was like."

Mey remembers when she was on vacation coming home to the Kusuma family home. Renan is very kind and loves him.

"Because of the painful experience that turned him into what Non Mey knows today."

Renan looked glum. During the meeting, he daydreamed more so that Dito took over his job.

"Ren, you're not focused anymore. From yesterday you were like a dazed man."

Renan still looks moody. He ignored Dito who was talking to him.

"What's the matter? Don't usually get like this?"

"Mey's pregnant," replied Renan flatly.

"What??? I didn't hear wrong??? Then you guys have ... ???"

Renan nodded. "Now he's in the hospital."

"He sick? Lately, he seems unhealthy. But is it not normal for pregnant women to look pale and often vomit? I mean it's not something that's bad, is it?"

"It seems like he's also depressed."

Dito. "I was suspicious before. I asked him once, if he has a problem he should tell me, but he said he's okay."

"I was so happy when I found out she was pregnant. But he was just the opposite. He said he didn't want this kid."

"That must be why, right?"

"Because it's my son. She hates me so much now."

"Why?!"

"You know how I treated him all this time? Maybe because of that. Besides, I also forced him to serve me that night."

"I don't know what to say. I've warned you repeatedly. Mey is not like the other girls. But you ngeyel and look now at the results."

"Maybe you're right ... Mey holds a grudge against me. If he keeps going like this I could lose my son." Renan looks very moody.

"I really want that kid. You can imagine, I who already do not believe in women and do not want to get married suddenly know will be a father?"
