My husband is not my man of choice

My husband is not my man of choice
The Plantation 2

"Wait son ... Are you the daughter of Lady Sarah?"

Mey stopped her steps. "Grandma knows my mom?"

The old woman nodded as she pointed at the direction of the villa that Kana was now occupying. "Madam Sarah lives in that villa, right?"

"It seems, grandma was wrong. My mother was right named Sarah, but she didn't live in that villa. Who lives there my foster mother, Mrs Kana."

"No, grandma's not the wrong person. Grandma used to work for Lady Sarah in that villa. I remember her face exactly. And this beautiful face of yours, looks so much like her."

"Are you sure?"

The woman nodded confidently. "The villa belonged to Mr. Kusuma, didn't it?"

Mey nodded. "True Nek."

"I don't know if Mr. Kusuma and Mrs Sarah had a daughter this beautiful" she said.

Renan frowned upon hearing this grandmother's explanation. Her feelings began to feel bad because what this woman was talking about was partly true but partly wrong. Renan arranges the story of the grandmother in his mind and comes to mind a no-no about his family and Mey's family.

"But obviously you only inherited your mother's pretty face, because you don't look like your father at all."

"We're leaving now Mey." Renan pulled Mey's hand. He did not want Mey to hear any more stories from the old woman.

"Wait for Ren, I want to hear this grandmother's story. He knows my mother and he knows Papa."

"And this young man is very similar to Mr. Kusuma." The old woman turned her gaze to Renan who had been silent since. "Is he your brother? Well, the son looks like his father while the daughter looks a lot like his mother."

"Don't talk if you know nothing!" hardik Renan was without courtesy to the old man.

"Ren ... don't be so rude as parents!"

Renan pulled Mey's hand away from the old woman. "He must be senile Mey, don't listen" whispered Renan.

Meylan followed Renan's words even though there was something stuck in his heart.

Renan drove his car away from the place. "Do you remember which way we should go after this? ryan asked to distract Mey. After meeting the old woman, Mey's face became moody.

"May ... " Renan called Mey because she seemed to be daydreaming.

"Eh ... What's Ren?"

"Which way should we go?" Renan repeated the question.

"Grandma said we should take a left at the crossroad."

Renan nodded. "Don't think of the old woman's words. He must be the origin of the talk."

"But he knows my mother's name Sarah, and your father's name Kusuma."

"That's all true of the whole story? Besides, everything is wrong. Never mind .. Don't think." Renan starts to rile but he tries to hide it.

Mey was silent. After some time they finally arrived at the strawberry garden that Mey mentioned.

"We've arrived."

Renan and Mey get out of the car. Mey's smile broke as soon as she saw the strawberry garden lying before her. A view he would not find in the city. Mey was impatient to pick strawberries that looked ripe in front of her eyes.

"May ... Do you mind telling me about your mother?" asked Renan carefully.

"Not much do I remember about my mother. So there's not much I can tell you," Mey replied indifferently. Renan knows this means Mey doesn't want to talk about her mother.

Renan recalls a little story from Bi Susi that says Mey's mother died in a mental hospital. Maybe Mey was embarrassed and didn't want to talk about it.

"Thick as much as you want Mey. I've paid for everything."

Mey gawking. "Aren't we just paying for the entrance ticket and the fruit we're picking up?"

"Yes, but I paid for everything. So that other visitors can not pick it. No visitors can enter." Renan pointed to the portal at the entrance of the garden that had been lowered.

"Are you not overreacting? I just want to pick some fruit. Didn't you buy this strawberry garden?"

"Alright if you want, just think of it as your pregnancy gift," Renan replied with his flat face.

"Mrs ... I'm not serious!"

Renan laughing. "I'm not serious either. Tea garden alone is abandoned because no one takes care, want to add strawberry garden."

"You fucked me Ren," Mey got upset and stomped her feet. Renan ran up to Mey and grabbed her stomach.

"Don't do that again. Poor my son."

Mey rolled her eyes irritated. "Don't let it be" he said, releasing Renan's hand from his stomach.

"But if you really want this garden I'll buy it for you!"

"No!"

Mey walks away leaving Renan looking grim. This is very unusual. Honestly Mey was pleased with Renan's treatment of her. He was also happy to see Renan now whose attitude was gentle to him. But Mey kept reminding herself not to fall asleep. Renan behaved like that only because of the child in his stomach.

"We're going home now Mey, you'll be exhausted."

Mey wasn't satisfied, but what Renan said was true. Later if he exhausted he would feel dizzy and weak. He himself will feel tormented.

Arriving home it was almost night. Mey went to the room to clean her body. Not to forget he asked the maid to make juice from strawberry fruit that he had just picked.

After dinner Mey went straight to her room. He wants to go to bed soon. Renan followed Mey. Renan isn't sleepy yet, but he doesn't want to leave Mey alone in the room so Renan sits on the couch and plays his phone.

Mey was already lying on the bed she had closed her eyes but she was not asleep either. Mey looked agitated. A few times on turning his body to the left and to the right, but there was no result. His eyes were still hard to close even though his body was feeling very tired.

Renan who realized that immediately approached Mey on the bed and lay down his body beside Mey.

"Do you want me to stroke your belly like last night?" asked Renan gently. Mey nodded.

"Are you going to call me a cheap woman if I want you to hug me?" mey asked with eyes that were almost crying.

Renan hugged Mey. "I'm sorry .. " said Renan while peeping Mey's forehead. "I regret saying that to you." Renan tightened his embrace on Mey's body.

"I remember mom. My grandmother's words remind me of my mother." Mey's tears were dripping in Renan's arms.

"Sttc ... Don't you think of the old woman's words. He just talks."
