New Hope Together Dusk That Is No Longer the Same
Trying to fight shame

Aisha just finished her al-qur’ tadarus when the phone above her nightstand rings, inscribed ‘Hubby’ in her call screen, immediately Aisha shifts the green button on her phone.

“Assalamualaikum humoraku ..” greet the voice from across the familiar in Aisha's ear.

Aisha's cheeks heated up every time she heard the call her husband made.

“Waalaikumsalam Brother.”

“Ica have received flowers from Abang?”

“Iya. The flowers are so beautiful, Ica likes.”

“Alhamdulillah if Ica like, Brother seneng dengernya. Have you eaten yet?”

“Not yet, do Ica wait for Abang.”

“Masya Allah so sweet really humoraku.”

“Makanya Abang cepetan go home, let's add so sweet we eat together.”

“Iya yes dear, this Brother is also done. Brother direct way home yes, dear Assalamualaikum.”

“Waalaikumsalam warohmatulloh,” replied Aisha ended the call.

The Flashback

A beautiful day, as beautiful as the mood of Aisha who had just released Faris' departure for work.

Which unhappy woman can serve her husband?, as well as Aisha who is still faithful flinching in front of her house, with a smile that adds sweetness to her father's face.

Though the car that Faris was driving had not been seen since, disappeared in the middle of the density of the streets of Surabaya.

Just now Aisha was about to set foot on the stairs to her room, heard one of her servants calling her.

“Good morning Madam, this is a flower bouquet package for Madam.” The waiter politely handed out a bouquet of very beautiful white roses.

“Create me? Who is Bi?” from both of his eyebrows were clutched, confused as to who had sent flowers to him this early.

“The courier didn't say anything Madam, maybe inside there's the name of the sender.”

Aisha smiled and thanked her servant who came back from before her politely.

Aisha starts to stare at the flower in her hand, wondering who the sender is.

The piece of paper in the bouquet answered Aisha's confusion, from her writing Aisha was sure if it must be her husband's writing.

‘Today you don't want to leave Ica at home, but there is a mouthful of rice you have to fight for. So you send this flower in exchange for Ica nemenin at home. Don't forget to smile at 😊’

And sure enough both corners of Aisha's lips were interested when reading the note in the bouquet.

From before marriage Aisha already knew how busy a specialist Faris, Aisha did not expect that Faris would be this romantic even in the midst of her busyness.

Starting from all his small attention now Faris has managed to make Aisha always fall in love every day.

Flashback off

“Aisha can get the reward of two hundred hajj and umrah, forbid the fire of hell near your body, does Aisha not want to dapet it?”

“But be ashamed, Mom!”

“That's where the reward lies dear, when Aisha fights that shame.”

Now Aisha remembered the advice of her mother before Faris brought her to this house, even now kept ringing in her ears.

“It seems that Bang Faris should be given a pleasant gift for always pampering me,” muttered Aisha while looking at the white rose perched beautifully on her dresser.

Slowly Aisha folded her face and cleaned it back to where it came from.

Aisha begins to choose the clothes she should wear tonight that she purposely prepared without Faris' knowledge.

Her smile instantly widened as she looked at her appearance in the mirror, then stepped slowly sitting in front of her dressing table to perfect her look.

Satisfied with her work, Aisha glanced at the clock on the wall of her room, thirty minutes after Faris called her, and Faris should be coming soon.

Actually Aisha was feeling a bit nervous at the moment, visible from the cold sweat that she rubbed on her forehead several times.

Therefore Aisha prefers to wait while watching television, maybe it will slightly reduce her nervousness and make her relax.

Started to get tired of waiting, several times Aisha took turns to glance at the door and wall clock that is still faithful in place, but there is no sign of her husband's return.

“Sampeyan still want to leave Gus? Looks like the weather is not good,” asked Jaya who saw Gus Hasan looking neat with makeup.

Wijaya Kusuma, Gus Hasan's childhood friend who is now also his roommate in Turkey. Not just an ordinary little friend, Gus Hasan even considered Jaya like his own brother.

They grew up together, despite being separated when Gus Hasan chose his bachelor in Al-Azhar Cairo and Jaya here, Istanbul-Turkey.

And now the two are back together because Gus Hasan chose to continue the S2 program here, the main reason is of course because of the woman who is now the wife of her cousin.

“Iya Jay, God willing it's okay. Our hostel is also close, just five minutes from campus.”

“Yes already, just be careful. If there is anything directly contact me.”

“You are like me a child Jay, already qualified well the same situation Istanbul?” gus Hasan's joke made both of them laugh.

Gus Hasan nodded in understanding, he knew that his best friend was worried about him who was a new person here.

This morning Gus Hasan did have to take a Tomer class or Turkish language class which is intended for international students who are required to take part as a college entrance requirement.

Jaya said, the weather in Istanbul is bad.

The snow here can be very cold and bone-chilling, Istanbul is prone to snowstorms during winter, as well as being prone to other disasters such as earthquakes.

Luckily the residence that Gus Hasan lives with Jaya is currently quite close to Istanbul University, so he does not need to bother to take public transportation that is prone to congestion.

Here is not much different from the Metropolitan cities in Indonesia, in addition to the beauty of the city and its culture, Istanbul is also famous for its bottleneck.

Gus Hasan stepped steadily into the multi-storey building with a distinctive architecture, hoping that his intentions and efforts will always make it easier for God to walk.

Faris smiled to herself, reflexively hugging the pole in the middle of her room because it was too baper to remember her conversation with Aisha on the phone earlier.

It turns out this is what it feels like to date after marriage, especially with a dream woman. This may be called the heaven of the world.

“Argh ... crazy crazy crazy crazy! Aisha really makes me crazy,” grumbled Faris stay in her position hugging the pole.

It was fortunate that he was only alone in his room, perhaps if there were others who saw him would definitely think he was crazy. It feels like it's the first time puberty.

Faris immediately rushed to snatch his bag and he hurriedly came out of his room, down the hallway of the Hospital which was still crowded by people.

“Doctor Faris wait!” the baritone voice stopped Faris's steps. A nurse called him.

“There are accident victim patients in ER Doc, other surgeons are on their respective surgery schedule.”

Faris let out a heavy sigh, even though he actually really wanted to go home to his beloved wife soon, but no matter how he could not resist, this was his duty.

“Good, immediately prepare the patient's medical record.” Faris immediately returned to his room, put down the bag that he had been tenteng and immediately snatched his doctor's suit and rushed to the ER to return to handle his patients.
