New Hope Together Dusk That Is No Longer the Same

That night at 00:45 in the morning, after returning from the Hospital Faris carefully entered her mother-in-law's house in a hurry. Yes, tonight he and his wife are staying at his mother-in-law's house.

Fearing to wake her mother-in-law, Faris slowed her steps up the stairs to her room. The room still looks bright, it looks like Aisha has not slept, or maybe it is waiting for her.

Slowly Faris turned the doorknob in front of him after a few times his greeting was not answered. Aisha was sitting on her alphabet leaning to the side of the bed, and her wife was asleep with the mushaf in her hand.

Faris who did not want to disturb Aisha's sleep opened her face slowly, she also took care of other prayer equipment. Carefully his arm slipped behind Aisha's nape and knees, laying her down slowly on the bed.

“Sayang, Ica mobile phone brother bentar well,” whispered without intending to wake the wife. Luckily the phone was already lying on the nightstand so he did not have to bother making noise to look for it.

Faris rushed out after getting the phone, checked the latest call records and handed it to someone inside the black Alphard who was already waiting in the courtyard of her in-laws house.

“Create a number here can not be traced anyone,” said Faris when entering the black Alphard that has been parked and handed his wife's phone to someone in question.

“Good Mr.” Without waiting for long, someone immediately struggled with computers and other equipment that was already available in the car.

It took only ten minutes for someone to grant what Faris had ordered, sending Faris rushing back before his wife and in-laws realized what he was doing.

Arriving at his room, Faris immediately put back Aisha's phone as before cleaning up before finally boarding the bed to join in to lay down beside the wife.

“Sorry yes Honey, it is not the intention of Abang hiding anything from Ica, Abang just do not want to happen anything with Ica,” whispered he pecked Aisha's head before actually laying down and sleeping.

Karina cradled her mobile phone in her hand, a week from the incident at the Hospital at that time, but there was no chatt from Azka. His conjecture had been wrong, in fact Azka was not as careful as it was against him.

Karina steadily opened the SIM card slot on her phone, grabbed one of them and threw it in the trash can under her bed. For him, to forget something then he must let go of everything. Including any means that can re-connect with something that will be avoided.

Several times Karina breathed a heavy sigh, it was quite a relief to give something that should be diikhlaskan. Because maintaining that which is no longer in line will only delay heartbreak alone. It's not easy, but at least it's for the peace of his heart, for the sake of his happiness, he believes everything will be fine, everything will go back as it is.

Karina glanced at the clock attached to the wall of her room, then rushed to the bathroom to clean herself up and prepare for her usual routine to the Hospital.

About forty minutes after Karina finished her bathing routine, she set herself in front of her walk-in closet mirror that reflected all parts of her body from her toes to the tip of her head.

His decision to close the aurat more closely has been unanimous, maybe his life has been empty because there is still one of his obligations as a Muslimah that he has not

obeying.

This was the first time he had appeared in very covered clothes. Black shirt with a wide black plisket skirt along the eyes dangling beautifully cover the curves of his body, plus Long cardi dusty pink further complements the elegance of its appearance.

After curling and covering his hair with the hijab, he grabbed a black paper bag from his closet, a few long pashmina hijabs with various colors in them.

“Maybe this is how I forgot you Ka, by getting better. Thank you for changing my world.” There was a smile that was engraved when he remembered the hijab giver, the man he was currently trying to make.

Karina grabbed one of the hijabs that were in the same color as the *long*cardigan she was wearing. With his skill to modify the appearance, for a beginner size like himself the look of the hijab is not too disappointing, the most important thing is to cover all parts of his aura.

The long pashmina hijab he made is not the same length, for the longest part he wrapped up to the top of his head after he tightened under the chin with a safety pin framing his face, while the short part he let dangle covered his chest as he had learned when streaming on the internet.

Karina does not use makeup too conspicuous as she usually wears, only natural-colored foundation combined with nude-colored lip matte also *eye*the shadow is similar to turn on his eyes so that it does not look cute.

To the knowledge of some studies that he listened to on the internet, a Muslimah is not recommended to berbaruj or excessive grooming. It was enough to make his face look fresh and not pale. Because the true beauty of a Muslimah is morals and behavior that is full of gentleness.

After being satisfied with her work, Karina stepped steadily to reach her briefcase to the garage of her house, the smile was endless from the woman who was metamorphosing it.

“Bismillah, ease and Istiqomahkan my intention Yes Rabb,” lirihnya before actually driving his car to divide the dense streets of Surabaya.

He settled himself when he found Faris next to him looking restless by changing his sleeping position.

“Abang why?” aisha asked touching Faris' arm carefully.

“Hah?” Faris who had not yet slept was completely shocked when she opened her eyes and saw Aisha was already sitting while looking at her.

Aisha frowned when her question found no answer, worried that her husband was angry because he was asleep and did not wait until her husband came home.

“Abang just got home?” he asked after first glancing at the clock hanging on the wall of his room.

“Emmm.” Faris just nodded her head.

“Abang has been eating?” aisha's question continued as her husband looked agitated.

Again only the headband that Aisha found in response, then she got out of bed while clipping her unraveled hair.

“Ica where you going?” asked Faris who looked not fully aware.

“Abang hasn't eaten again from the afternoon right? Maybe laper so his sleep is restless, Ica make food first yah.”

Faris scratched his non-itchy temple, he did last eat this afternoon at North Quay. A fairly solid schedule of impromptu operations made him slightly forget about his dinner, plus when he found out that Sofia was still bothering his wife, he immediately rushed home without remembering his stomach that had not been filled anything else.

Aisha stepped onto her bookshelf, picked up one of the piles of books there and handed it to her husband.

“Abang can see it while waiting for Ica. Just photos of Ica pas small anyway,” he said handed a photo album to Faris.

“Eh Brother want Ica make what?” he continued when the album had moved into the lap of the husband.

“What aja deh,” replied Faris immediately.

Aisha simply nodded her head in understanding before finally leaving.

After his consciousness was fully gathered, Faris opened the album in his worn out hands, on the first page was a photo of a handsome middle-aged man wearing his doctor's suit, a face that implied the calm as Faris now got to Aisha. Under the photo it says ‘My great daddy’.

Suddenly Faris' chest felt tight imagining how Aisha misses the figure of the father, even his wife never looked directly at the face.

“Assalamualaikum Daddy, this is Faris husband Aisha, little daughter of Daddy. Now Aisha has grown into a beautiful angel Yah, following in the footsteps of Father saving his life out there. Faris promises to always look after and guide Aisha as I expected.”

“Allohumaghfirlahum ..”

Unknowingly a clear circle fell when the monologue Faris looked at the picture of his late father-in-law, it reminded him of his late parents.

In the following pages are photos of Aisha's childhood that look adorable with her beautiful smile with her mother. Some photos there are also with his extended family that Faris saw also present at the wedding reception.
