Ch.135 - Commencement of the Attack
The sun was already seen to be sinking, an orange glow dotting the sky at the far west.
The members of the Fire Mountain Sect were still in a state of recovery, the Sky Spiritual Cultivators downstairs were in charge of clearing the traces of chaos overnight, such as burying corpses and clearing the rubble of destroyed buildings.
More than half of the members of the Volcano Sect were killed in the bloody night incident last night. It was really unexpected that, who did all this only 2 Gold Core cultivators they did not know where they came from.
I don't know what the 2-man plan was to make such a big mess like this before fleeing without a trace.
Indeed all this happened also because of the negligence of those who thought there would be no attack from the other party.
Now that they were on full alert, no one was allowed to enter the territory of Purple Sky City, all the members assigned to guard outside the city, had now been recalled.
The walls that encircled the city, were now seen standing the Sky Spiritual cultivators up to the Silver Core who was watching around the city, making sure no one approached.
All of the Gold Core cultivators who now only numbered no more than 20 people, were recovering the injuries they had sustained from resisting the attacks of Xiang Yang and Han Shizu.
Of course they would not heal in just 1 day, especially for Gold Core cultivators who got seriously injured overnight, it would probably take at most 1 week to fully recover.

The western Purple Sky City Gate.
Several people were currently standing on the western city gate wall, watching the area around the city.
"Hi, look at that!" one of them pointed westward, where the sun was now almost setting, emitting a beautiful orange glow.

The head of the man was instead hit by his partner.
"Stupid! Do you think we're here to see the sunset? Did you forget last night!"

That guy hit his partner back.
"You're the fool! Look at it well! Open your eyes!" the man pointed back west.
His partner squinted his eyes, sharpening his vision. Indeed, because of the sunlight that will set, it is rather difficult to see the direction indicated.
Until a moment later, his colleagues could see black dots clustered from a distance.
A few moments passed, he could see faintly that it was a group of people holding their respective weapons, clearly wanting to attack.
"THERE'S ATTACK!" His companion shouted, making the others also reflexively turn their head westward.
"Reply report to the Elders!"
"Good!"
One of them immediately went towards the Purple Sky Sect to report this.

Elder Shu Chi Man is now in his room, still in the process of recovery.
He first recovered his severely injured body yesterday after enduring the attacks of two intruders.
It could be seen his hand had healed, and now he wanted to recover his Qi energy, but suddenly the door of the room on tap made veins of fury pop up on the forehead of Elder Shu Chi Man.
The door was opened, revealing a man who immediately knelt down while cupping his hands.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your time Elder, but I bring you some critical news!"
"What news? If that's useless news then I'll kill you!" Elder Shu Chi Man stared intently at the man.
"There's an Elder attack! I saw in the west there was a group of people carrying weapons, no doubt they came to attack us!"
"What?!" Elder Shu Chi Man clenched his teeth with tightly clenched hands.
"Damn it, I still haven't fully recovered after yesterday's fight and now there's another attack!" muttered Elder Shu Chi Man then asked "How many of them are there and their cultivation levels?"
"For the number I estimate there are around 200 people whereas for cultivation, I don't know for sure because their distance back then was too far to check their cultivation!"
"Only 200 people?! They dared to come in such small numbers to declare war, the chances of them having high cultivation!" muttered Elder Shu Chi Man.
"Huh! Gather all the members who can still fight now! Call also my brother and Elder Xian Ying! I'm angry, they can be my punching bag to vent anger!" Elder Shu Chi Man walked out of his room.
"Ready to do the Elder!" The man went to follow the orders of Elder Shu Chi Man.

About 10 minutes passed, the sun was no longer visible at the west end, only the bright orange color that almost disappeared.
Now that all the members of the Volcano Sect who could still fight had been gathered in a vast field, it could be seen that they numbered no more than 1000 people.
Elder Xian Ying, Elder Shu Qi Man and Elder Shu Chi Man floated a few meters before all of his troops.
Elder Xian Ying began his speech with an angry expression, obviously feeling very disturbed by the arrival of the attacker who was not clear where he came from.
Just as Elder Xian Ying finished his speech and intended to order his sect members to head towards the west gate of the city, suddenly a man came.
"Sorry Elder, I brought important news!" The man kneeled while cupping his hands "The southern part of Purple Sky City has been attacked, many explosions have occurred there, it seems like the fight is going on!"
The report of the man made the mood of the 3 elders even hotter.
"I don't know for sure who and how many attacked, because after seeing the explosion, I came here to report!" continue the man.
Just as Elder Xian Ying was about to respond to the man's report, another man came kneeling while cupping his hands.
"Sorry Elders, I brought an important report! The northern part of the city had a lot of explosions, there must have been attacks there, I don't know exactly how many, but it looks like all the northern guards have been killed!"
The heads and hearts of the three elders grew hotter, after yesterday's fight, now they were attacked from 3 different directions.
Elder Xian Ying floated ever higher, looking towards the west, south and north of Purple Sky City.
From that distance, he could not see clearly, yet he could still see the puff of smoke caused by the explosion.
After taking a glimpse of the conditions in the city, Elder Xian Ying floated down to the level of the two twin elders, Shu Qi Man and Shu Chi Man.
"For all members to be 3 troops! I will lead the army to fight the northern invaders, Elder Shu Qi Man is leading the army to fight the western invaders while Elder Shu Chi Man will take care of the rest!" Elder Xian Ying immediately took the decision that was approved by all of them.
"All right! Everybody move now!" The 3 elders split into 3 different directions, followed by the troops they led each.
They were unaware that they had now fallen into Xiang Yang's trap, which separated all their forces into 3 different directions.
