Ch.19 - The Struggle of Cai'er
Currently in the real world, Xiang Yang's body still looked black lying in the middle of the friend, not breathing nor did his heart not beat, it could be said to be dead.
There was a small red snake sleeping, wrapping its body in front of Xiang Yang's face.
It had been 1 day since Xiang Yang's death, Cai'er was still faithfully waiting for the young man on the spot.
Until a while later, Cai'er raised his head, hissing slowly looking at Xiang Yang's face with a sad look.
The little snake really felt lost.
Suddenly a golden light appeared enveloping Xiang Yang's body, making Cai'er startled to move backwards.
The little snake did not know the origin of the golden light making him panic what to do.
Not only that, Xiang Yang's skin looking red like embers made Cai'er even more panicked.
The little snake could feel the stinging heat coming out from Xiang Yang's body.
Cai'er was wailing, pacing around not knowing what to do. A moment later Cai'er moved quickly out of the crater, found a puddle of water, took water with his mouth, of course Cai'er did not swallow the water, just kept it in his mouth.
Cai'er immediately returned to Xiang Yang's place. Upon arriving there, the small snake tried to get closer to Xiang Yang's right hand which was still stretched with the position of the stomach body, Cai'er resisted the stinging heat.
The little snake also spewed water into Xiang Yang's hand which might only be a few drops.
*Csssss!
The water instantly evaporated without any residue, even before it touched Xiang Yang's skin.
Cai'er went back out of the crater, took water and did the same, so that Xiang Yang's body would not be charred to ashes because of the heat.
I don't know how many times the little snake took water back and forth but there was no result. Cai'er was already exhausted, his body was full of sweat, yet he did not stop trying.
Until 1 day passed, Cai'er was already unable to move anymore, his body lying limp quite far away from the current Xiang Yang.
The little snake looked at Xiang Yang unhappily, thinking that the young man would be charred to ashes.
But not for long, Xiang Yang's skin that was like embers gradually normalized, the light that enveloped his body also slowly disappeared.
Xiang Yang's body was no longer black, instead it now looked whiter, even his face became more handsome.
Cai'er who had looked sad, her face became brighter, her body that had felt powerless, now somehow she felt her strength back, then immediately moved towards Xiang Yang.
Cai'er directly examined Xiang Yang's pulse and breath, but Cai'er immediately limped because the young man was still not breathing.
Cai'er also slept in a circle in front of Xiang Yang's face.
Not sure how many minutes had passed, Cai'er the little red snake sensed someone stroking his head.
Cai'er got up, opened her eyes, the little snake was stunned to see a handsome young man smiling gently at her.
Cai'er shook his head violently thinking that what he saw was a hallucination.
"What's wrong with you Cai'er?"
Xiang Yang's words back to make Cai'er surprised, he immediately ran and rubbed his head on Xiang Yang's cheeks.
