Ch.149 - Ming Imperial Palace
Ming Tu glanced at Wang Wu before walking there. The 2 faces of the young man looked dark, clearly harboring anger at Wang Wu.
Wang Wu lay weak, staring at Ming Tu who was walking towards him with a weak gaze, he was completely unable to move his body due to being seriously injured, moreover his dantian had been destroyed because of Xiang Yang.

A traitor seems only worthy of one word, 'dead'.
"Wang Wu, do you know how disappointed I am with you?" Ming Tu said with a heavy voice and a cold gaze.
Wang Wu closed his eyes, trying to regulate his breathing which felt tight and difficult to do.
"Kill me. Your highness..!" Wang Wu said in a hoarse voice.
Wang Wu understood how disappointed Ming Tu was in him, because he understood how trusting Ming Tu was in him. The high trust of Ming Tu, he destroyed by betraying him, of course that trust would turn into a huge disappointment.
So Wang Wu thought his death might ease the guilt in his heart for having betrayed Ming Tu.
"I have to be strict with my subordinates! So I must kill you as a warning so that no one else would dare to betray! There is no mercy for traitors!" Ming Tu took out his sword and stabbed Wang Wu in the heart, causing the middle-aged man to die instantly.
Wang Duo widened his eyes to see the death of his sister, he was certainly saddened by her death even though he had been involved in conflict because of the difference in decisions.
Yet Wang Duo also could not blame Ming Tu for that, as this all happened due to Wang Wu's mistake.
Ming Tu walked towards Wang Duo.
"General Wang, do you know that you've been lied to by Yuan Ran all this time?" ming Tu said.
"What do you mean Empress Yuan Ran lied to me?" Wang Duo frowned "You are a rebel, your words are nothing to believe! You even had the heart to poison the noble Emperor who is your own father!"
"That's why I said that you. rather you have all been lied to by****** Yuan Ran it!"
Wang Duo immediately put on an angry face "Don't insult the Empress with such a despicable designation! And also never say empty talk without clear evidence! The work of Ming Tu!"
"Don't call me prince, that title was revoked a long time ago! Now because of your defeat, I will soon be crowned Emperor!" Ming Tu said calmly and casually "Listen to my explanation, General Wang!"
Ming Tu also explained how the cunning tricks that had been played by Yuan Ran until everyone had entered into the woman's trick.
Wang Duo and the other Gold Core cultivators, were naturally surprised to hear Ming Tu's explanation. If that was true then all this time they had been protecting a rebel and fighting Ming Tu who was an heir to the throne.
Come to think of it, Wang Duo did quite often see the strange and suspicious hiccups of Empress Yuan Ran, yet he tended to ignore that, instead, for thinking Empress Yuan Ran was impossible to do anything no-no.

Ming Tu said with a firm expression without hesitation.
Wang Wu lowered his head, thinking for a moment with the decision he was about to take. A moment later, he sighed, then turned towards Ming Tu, then said the decision he took.

Currently, Yuan Ran was in Emperor Ming Qin's room, cleaning the weakly lying emperor's face with pale skin using a cloth.
After a while passed, Yuan Ran stopped his activities and placed the cloth on the table nearby.
Now only he and Emperor Ming Qin remained in the room.
"You should have been dead from 1 year ago, but it looks like you're still strong enough to survive!" Yuan Ran was seen staring at Ming Qin with a confused expression "Is it because you are a cultivator? Huh, cultivators are always mysterious!"

Moments later, the door was knocked from the outside.

"Oh, has General Wang successfully completed the mission to finish off the rebels?" Yuan Ran so sumringah.
If Ming Tu's rebel army had been annihilated, then there was already nothing more to worry about, he would have become the absolute ruler of this Ming Empire.

Yuan Ran stood up "Alright, you can return to the line of duty, I will directly meet General Wang!"
Yuan Ran quickly walked out of the room, intending to meet General Wang Duo.

General Wang was currently just in a camp with his troops. After giving some specific directions to his troops, Wang Duo walked away. He is not alone, on the right and left side is seen a man who uses a mask covering the face.
Wang Duo and the 2 masked men walked through the hallway of the palace, until a few minutes later, the three of them passed by Empress Yuan Ran.
"His Majesty the Empress!" Wang Duo immediately knelt one foot in front of Yuan Ran.
"Self General Wang!" Mr. Ran said in a soft voice.
General Wang stood up, then Yuan Ran again opened his voice.
"What about the mission you're on General Wang?" Yuan Ran directly asked to the point.
"Everything has been neatly settled, Your Majesty the Empress, all the rebels have been slaughtered!" replied General Wang.
Yuan Ran sighed in relief "Good then, with the destruction of the rebels, the Ming Empire will become more peaceful!"
Yuan Ran's gaze turned to look at the two men beside General Wang.
"Who are they General Wang?"
"Oh, they are the two great alchemists I met on the way, these two masters are willing to try to cure His Majesty the Emperor!"
